The problem is that all the prime summer class times are given to Laurie and she is prone to melting down and berating individuals or the entire class! I did come here a few times this past summer, but only when my favorite NYC instructors did a guest appearance for the week. On a positive note, the vibe here is more low key then Bridgehampton, so I would come more often off season, or during the summer if there was more choice on the schedule of seasoned instructors who are not nuts.

She had us out in 3 the whole time which isn't my favorite and we did a lot of different moves on the bike which were tough to follow if you aren't a regular, but spin class style is more of a personal preference. The staff was great about helping the newbies get set up. The class is outrageously expensive, but it does include shoes and a bottle of Smartwater. I brought my own shoes and didn't touch the water because I didn't realize it was free. I thought it was there so you could pay for it if you forgot water. Everyone was drenched in sweat and felt great after getting a workout in.

The place was very trendy and clean, it had bathrooms with showers and lockers to store your belongings while taking the class. The staff helped with adjusting my bike and clicking the shoes in. Our instructor, Pam, was very lively and had a great music set. It was dark in the room but it was very motivating and it was nice in that you didn't feel judged for your abilities - there were patrons with all different skill levels in there and we all just tried our best, whatever that looked like. The class was 45 mins long and they provided clean towels. Right when class was over you saw them coming in to clean all the bikes down. I'm definitely interested in coming back!

I bought a single cycle class and rented shoes ($2, very clean and in great condition). There are lockers to store coats, street shoes, phones, etc right outside the classroom. Maria C was energetic and encouraging during the whole cycle, giving modifications if you weren't able to complete all of the exercises. Room was pretty dark aside from some lights in the front and everyone is focused on their own cycles, so if you want to try but are self-conscious it is a great environment! I even sat in the back so I could get the hang of it. Overall awesome experience, and Happy Birthday Revolve!

They come with a fresh spin (haha) on cycling and have big shoes to fill. They deliver! Leon and Kacey's class opening day had so much energy and great music. There are no screens or metrics anymore, which I thought I'd miss, but it actually let me feel the music and my body throughout the ride more. I was hoping they'd do something better with the bathrooms, which are cramped during busy classes, but I definitely appreciate the more fans and space in the studio itself. Tried a free class after Thanksgiving and been going 4 days/week ever since. You never get bored…read morethanks to the variety; not just spin, but strength too, and combo classes! The instructors will motivate you to push yourself to keep going and keep coming back. This was really terrible customer service. They charged me for a class I showed up for that ran 10…read moreminutes late (to start) and my spot was taken when the room opened up. I wrote to let them know and despite that, they marked me as a no show. After ignoring my follow ups, I asked for a package refund many weeks later and was told no. This is a business I supported year round and I gave the owner no problem when she cancelled on me 2/3 times during the winter.

This place exceeded my expectations! I attended a "Friday Night Ride" class last week and…read moreabsolutely loved it. This was my first spin class in probably 7-8 years so I was slightly nervous how I would be able to keep up at this stage in my life. The studio is extremely organized and prior to coming, they request that you chose a bike on their site and pick your shoe size. Then upon entering, your shoes are ready in the cubbies which are assigned according to the # bike that you chose. Love the preparation so there is no wandering around and figuring it out when you get there. There were a few instructors greeting everyone entering with such great energy, making everyone feel at ease and welcome. The studio provides a locker with a lock which is extremely helpful. Gone are the days of leaving belongings in an unlocked locker. Then make your way to the bikes. At each bike there was a clean towel and 2 arm weights. This workout was definitely full body. Alex was a fantastic instructor. Her energy radiated the room and she encouraged everyone of all levels to push through their goal. The entire time she reminded the group to go at a pace they felt comfortable while still leading us to engage and push our hardest to the finish line. She was an extremely motivating leader while still keeping the workout feeling fun and achievable. Finishing the class gave me such a sense of accomplishment! I cant wait to come back!
