They've been known for their catering forever, which means they buy in bulk, and when they decided to open up a café I was overjoyed. The café is small and quaint, so it definitely gets busy during peak lunch and dinner hours, but it is worth the wait tenfold. Prices are fantastic thanks to their catering side of the business. You can even check out the counter with cold entrees to take home at amazing prices, and don't get me started on the pastries. Incredible, amazing. Get the lemon bar and thank me later. The café itself has everything you could want: drinks, adult beverages, coffee, salads, sandwiches, seafood, and yes, breakfast all day. I've been obsessed with their newer salmon orzo plate, which is currently around 22 dollars and would easily be 35-45 dollars anywhere else. Their appetizers are all delicious and actually filling. The Caesar salad is my favorite in the city and everything is scratch made. The owners clearly love their business and it shows. They're often out chatting with customers and making sure each visit feels top notch. For some people it might feel a little "out of the way," but for me in northwest Omaha I'm just grateful it is in my area, and either way it is absolutely worth the drive or commute. I could go on and on, but when you do go, say hi if you see me there, because there's a good chance I'll be at a corner table happily eating something.

First my only request for the bar was that I as the groom wanted to have an Old Fashioned at my wedding. They didn't bring the proper ingredients. No Old Fashioned for me. Second we requested roasted potatoes and instead got mashed potatoes. They tasted great but again not what we asked for. Third My wife needed gluten free so we had two desserts one gluten free cake and one not gluten free, they mixed them together at the end of the night so no left over cake for my wife. Fourth some random woman came into the venue to snoop prior to the wedding so a catering staff member took upon themselves to show her around and they walked in on my wife while she was changing. Fifth we were given a personalized bottle of Champagne to commemorate the event that was thrown away at the end of the night by the staff as they were cleaning. None of this was really major and certainly didn't ruin our night but left a very bad taste in our mouth about every recommending our using this company again. They did offer to buy us an anniversary cake and bottle of Champagne but we did not want freebies, we just want them to take more care when working at such a memorable event.

First of all, the food in general, is amazing. They have so many options for the sides and main courses. If you are looking for a standard buffet, the cheapest buffet pricing comes with a gourmet salad (nuts, cranberries, feta cheese, real lettuce, etc), fresh fruit ,which looks so pretty on the table and rolls with butter. Already, that is much more bang for the buck than other caterers I considered. It's an even better deal because everything is fresh. On top of that, Catering Creations catered my event in Lincoln, and they were STILL cheaper than other caterers in Lincoln and Omaha...oh, AND they placed my china order for me, and picked up/dropped off all china rental items for me, for free, like it was no problem whatsoever. In addition to them being so accommodating, the staff just really went above and beyond during the wedding. They were so kind to all of the guests, they assisted the wedding coordinators at the event move tables, and waited a good amount of time to start taking plates from guests. Many guests told me for weeks after that it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. I can't agree more. I stuffed myself silly, and that was difficult to do as the bride! There really isn't anything more gratifying than sitting at the head table and watching people hoof it back to the buffet for a second heaping plate of food.
