I just wanted to update this review as I haven't been a customer in over a year and wanted to share…read morewhy. Overall I was very happy with the work that was done on my hair and the care that was taken to make sure my hair was healthy. With that said there is nothing that justifies the cost of getting your hair done here especially since they triple book you and often leave your hair in the hands of their "assistants"- who are also stretched thin and mostly inexperienced. I get wanting to maximize profit. I have a business myself! So I get it. But imagine my surprise when i book a highlight at 11 and someone else books a highlight at 12 and now my colorist is leaving me to do both. On top of that i think it's generally wrong to not blow out your client who has just gotten color treatment because color looks different wet versus dry. I wasn't informed to book a blow out on top of my color services I was just rushed out of the chair with wet hair day of, which was odd. Additionally, someone who formerly worked on my hair here came into MY workplace for a service and then complained to my boss instead of letting me know directly that there was an issue. I would never do anything like that to anyone, but apparently this is the culture at this salon or what this individual decided was appropriate. Again, I was happy with how my hair came out here. They brought my hair back to normal after it was ruined by another salon, but I don't think I'll be back. Onward!

There are 5 reasons why I keep going back to this salon:…read more 1) The amazing and talented staff, including Bria herself. 2) Bria is innovative, creative, and has the ability to work with people of all ages. 3) The salon is properly managed and clean. Bria typically runs on time. 4) All staff members are friendly and personable. They treat you the same whether you are dressed up for a night out or in a pair of sweatpants on a rainy afternoon. 5) They are professionals and act accordingly. Today I walked in with my 3 kids, the oldest who is 8. Bria did a phenomenal job cutting and blowing out both of my girls hair. My oldest has very curly hair which is not easy to work with. When the children started acting like children and running around as they do, Bria and her staff were able to help redirect them and chatted with them too. They adore children and always make us feel like we are at home when we are there. I posted a review about my own hair a year ago and now this one is for my children. I would highly recommend this salon!

Updating my review to respond to someone who said you need a translator to get service there:…read more Ummm, no. There are two hairdressers and they both speak English fluently as their first language. Not to say that if the stylists spoke a different language that would be a bad thing. I've gotten wonderful cuts at other salons from people who (shocking) speak English as a second language. I've been going there for years. It's reasonably priced, the service is great and the stylists are super friendly. So either she's lying or she reviewed the wrong salon. ******** I got the Groupon. Made an appointment and it turns out I know the stylist from high school, like 40 million years ago. I showed her the color I wanted and explained that I am very simple with hair style, basically just need a deep trim. She got the color together and put it in my hair. As my hair was soaking up the dye, she worked on another client, cutting and blow drying her hair. Fast forward to the end, because the middle is boring stuff. My hair is cut and dried, and it looked soooooo good. I couldn't stop saying, "Lisa!! It looks so good! You got the color exact. Look at the picture. It looks just like it!!!" The only suggestion I'd make is the sinks are up too high. I'm short and had to hold myself up keep my head over the sink. They should be lowered so we can rest our necks in the dip part. Besides that, absolutely awesome cut and color. Thank you, Lisa.
