After reporting the crime to my local police and Sheriff's dept, and being told that the theft of business money was a civil and not criminal matter because we had contracts. I desperately decided to turn to google and started calling private investigators. I called every single private investigator that came up on the google search from my home. They didn't give me much to go with. I decided to do another google search once I got to work and Jane Doe Investigators came up. I called and was immediately reassured that I wasn't wrong. That what happened to me was a white-collar crime, and although the local police department and Sheriff's department refused to take the case. There was still a viable solution to my situation. I wanted to hire Jane Doe Investigations, and instead of taking my money. Jane referred me a competent attorney that took my case without hesitation. She knew that I didn't need private investigative services, she knew that I needed an attorney. She didn't try to take advantage of me in my vulnerable state of mind but compassionately guided me in the right direction.
