His honesty, attention to detail, obsessive-compulsive on doing a good job, and his high standards easily made him the choice for us. Boy am I glad my neighbors went through the process of meeting with painters and that they found Rocco! I can't stop telling everyone I meet how wonderful he is, and how happy I am with the results. Rocco was completely professional throughout the process. He was responsive from the start, adjusted his schedule to fit mine (working around kitchen cabinet installation), and kept precisely to the timeline he quoted. He also gave excellent advice and saved me from some bad decisions. When my original selection didn't look good, he put up a swatch, and then called me on a Saturday to give me some advice on what to look for. He was 100% right, and even though he'd already bought enough for a coat of my original choice, he didn't charge me for the extra paint. I've never made any decor decisions before, and he really took the stress out of it, being so nice about my ill-chosen colors and giving advice/opinions only when asked to. He is a perfectionist, too. I am beyond thrilled with the way things turned out. He and his crew were extremely organized and neat, and they really take pride in the quality of their work. Rocco and his team were incredibly professional, able to schedule very quickly, and were very responsive to my requests. He definitely went above and beyond the requested work order and his prices were very competitive (approx. 20% more affordable than the next best quote, and approx. 50% of the highest quote I received). For example, he noticed after starting the work that the ceilings only had a coat of primer, so he went ahead and did multiple coats - more than he had promised in the estimate which surely ate into his personal profit margin. The work was finished on time, to our liking, and he took care of the majority of prep and clean up (we only had to move small, loose items - they handled everything else). The team was also courteous about leaving the space usable and checking with me if I needed access to any areas as the work took 5 days. Rocco painted our 1200 sqft condo and we are extremely pleased with the job he did. He came out immediately and gave us a quick quote. His quote was very reasonable and we could tell he was very detailed oriented and respectful. We are so pleased we hired him for the job as our first impressions of him were right on. He painted all of the condo's walls, trim, doors and ceiling and he did an exceptional job. While painting, he found damage to one of our walls in the bathroom. I contacted Rocco at Soroni Painting along with three other 5 star painters in the Chicago Area to get estimates for some ceiling and wall repairs. My neighbor above me had a broken washing machine which caused damages to ceilings on both levels of my duplex, walls cove moldings and baseboards. Rocco was PROMPT. His quote was CLEAR and ACCURATE. His price was competitive even though he estimates the time required to make the repairs would be 2 days more that all the other painters??? I selected Rocco and Soroni and I am glad I did. They matched the colors perfectly, repaired all the drywall and moldings.I had him also paint my Master Bedroom and Bath too. He was helpful with selecting the colors. They calked along the cove moldings and were careful with Speaker Covers, Spotlight Covers and removed and then replaces all the face plates. Rocco was on time to supply estimates and was on the job - on time, every day. I liked the fact that the estimator was also the person in charge and that would be on site to do the work. Some of the other guys send out a separate estimator and you do not know who will be there to do the work until they show up. Roccoo/ Soroni did such a good job that my condo board approved some repair work in the common areas. He was trustworthy and I was able to give him keys and an alarm code. We absolutely loved working with Rocco and his crew. Rocco painted the main areas of our apartment, including the trim. The original color I picked out for the trim wasn't actually a typical trim color and so Rocco suggested we make a slight change which was a good decision.
