I've been coming to Sorek since the start of the year. This place is sick and management is amazing. Vibes are awesome and you can even get custom clothes there. If you need a good cut hit up Gun. He's the best and I get complimented on my hair all the time. For sure best find of the year. read more

I've been going to Sorek's barbershop once a month for over a year now with Gun being my barber every time - this place is, without a doubt, my favorite barbershop I've found in Austin since moving here 10 years ago! This shop is consistently warm and friendly with a great vibe. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in and the conversations are always fun & insightful. I also love the ethnic diversity amongst all the men here, between the barbers and clients too... everyone joking and genuinely enjoying each other's company. I'm thankful for finding this special place. read more

Stumbled upon this place while exploring East Austin with a small bachelorette party, and absolutely loved it! The business was started by two brothers: one runs the barber shop and the other runs the clothing shop. What an awesome concept We have a bridesman in our group, so the bride spoke with Jared (the clothing co-owner) about potential fabric options within her color palette. You could instantly tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about the business and the clothing they provide. I wasn't planning to purchase anything (the clothing selection in store is fairly small given the retail space) but with the quality of the shirt paired with the incredible conversation we struck up with Jared, had to buy a shirt for my husband. Would definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

Sorek is my new spot! I can get my hair cleaned up and get some new clothes perfect for the season at hand jason and the crew are always accommodating no matter when I call! Highly recommended! read more

Want to feel like a million bucks? Look nowhere else. These guys are a one stop shop to making you feel like your best self. They are professional, welcoming, skilled beyond measure, and passionate. I found these guys walking by and getting a cut to vet for my upcoming wedding which also happened to be on the day I was going suit shopping. I went in strictly for a haircut but circled back around after shopping for a suit knowing that nothing would compare to this. Very serendipitous! Not only was I able to share a family memory with my dad and my future father in law (both of whom had never been to a proper barbershop) but I was able to order a majestic custom three-piece suit from these guys. 10/10 would recommend over and over again! read more

The perfect place to get a cut, close shave and a style upgrade in one sitting. Definitely coming back

I had high hopes for this spot given how booked up they were. Was pretty disappointed by the barber and their approach to working with me to figure out how to style/cut my hair. The barber took their time and knew what they were doing but gave me the worst cut I've had in a long time. read more

New to Austin and needed a fresh cut. It's terrifying trying to find a new barber but once I found Sorek I know I would be taken care of. The second I walked in the staff was very welcoming and the vibe was on point. Deon gave me a tight fade, it would be difficult to find anyone else who could provide this quality of hair cut. I also selected the WakeUp call, game changer! Without spoiling too much it's a high level facial for men, Highly recommend it! I was also able to pay online before I arrived which made it really smooth and easy. Looking forward to going back next month. Really great spot, you feel like you're hanging out with great friends the entire time! These guys know what dudes want. read more

Ok so my husband went for a haircut, the first time wasn't the greatest I was so angry about the first cut but I talked to one of the owners. The first one I called was so kind and understanding he said he would refund me and to come back and he would fix things. I received another call from The other owner who was beyond kind and understanding. He told my husband to come in either today or tomorrow morning (even though the shop would be closed) and he would take care of him without hesitation, I told my husband to go in today and omg he came back looking amazing! I love the cut and the way they treated him, was exactly what I wanted. He called me saying how amazing Jason was and how he loved how friendly and easy going they were with him. That's what I wanted for him to be taken care of and have a good time. It's our baby moon and I wanted him to be pampered before our little one gets here. Thank you all for all the goodies you gave us and for making my man feel and look like a million bucks. My hubby said even though we live in SA he will be making the trip out here for his new favorite spot. Thank y'all so much for being amazing and truly loving what you do. You can see it in your work. Will recommend 100% and now we have a great baby moon story to tell read more

Sorek - All the goodies we got from the amazing owners - Men's Clothing Near Me - Austin, Texas

We moved into the Central East side of Austin in July 2020 and love the area. I've tried a few barber shops in Austin and stumbled onto Sorek and couldn't be happier this new establishment is just a 5 minute walk but id drive 20 minutes to back if that's what it took. It recently opened and ran by two charismatic brothers that developed that made me feel at home. Ask for Dean, he's a stylist/barber that did my hair nailed it out of the park. Detail oriented, passionate and knew the haircut that would fit me right. It was the best haircut and experience of my life and it only took me 36 years to get there. I'm gushing about Sorek so I'll stop there. read more

My new favorite barber shop AND clothing store in Austin all in one! The tag team brothers that run the shop are top notch guys. Finally I can get a haircut in this city by someone who doesn't just do the same thing to every hipster that walks in the front door. Great products, great clothing, great haircuts... what more do you need? 5/5 on all fronts. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. read more

If you're looking for your new barber you can trust and go to for the next several years or the rest of you life you have found it! I simply did a Google search trying to find a good barber for my hair and my beard and decided to give Sorek a chance. I can't tell you how happy I am I made that decision. Jason took his time finding out what I wanted to accomplish and what I've done with my hair and beard before and then he went to work completing exactly what I was hoping for. During the hour or so I spent there we had an amazing conversation about a wide variety of topics. Jason truly gets customer service, creating life long customers and friends and is amazing at his craft. Make an appointment now. You won't regret it. read more

If you're looking for the best haircut you can get, in an environment that's welcoming, and upscale, Sorek is the only option. Not only does Jason do an amazing job cutting hair, he makes the whole experience something I look forward to every couple of weeks. In addition to the amazing haircut, they have many options for some amazing clothes. There's never pressure to buy any clothes, but having the option for such upscale and quality clothes is great. You will not be upset with a trip to Sorek. read more

I've been a client of Sorek's since they opened the door's literally! Since being here the guys have been extremely helpful in helping me find a signature look. I recently picked up their Gibb's Jacket and it's wonderful. I am a heavier guy with broader shoulders and I like how the clothes can fit a more athletic guy. If the ready to wear clothing line doesn't fit they also make custom fits for the bigger/athletic guy. The customer service is impeccable. You will always walk out feeling appreciated and inspired to stay fresh with either a new hairstyle or some new threads. I highly suggest it. 10/10 read more

Sorek is an awesome spot if you're looking for a fresh cut and and refreshing experience - Dean gave me a 10/10 haircut and a 10/10 conversation. I will definitely be going back and couldn't recommend Sorek enough. As someone who is brand new to Austin, this was a great kickoff. As for the clothing, I didn't get the chance to try anything on, but the styles are very fresh. Ill be back for some for sure. read more
