I waited 30 minutes to see somebody, I could tell they were rushing through me. There wasn't very many people there to be rushing through anything. Did my nails completely too short, and uneven, it looks like a toddler did my nails. He was so rough with my hand, and after I had told him that my nail looked crooked. He told me that was just my finger lol which it was not. They came out horrible and im severely disappointed, and will not be visiting them ever again. read more

This is my whole family's place for years now, I have no idea how anyone could write less than a 5 star review for Judy, Lee, and May. They are so friendly, nice, professional, and do an awesome job with every service they provide from mani/pedi's, full sets, and waxing. I don't have time to drive extra 20+ minutes to find the best nail salons but out of the three I've gotten. Fills at, this one is the best in the area. The last fill I got by the place by jewel was so chunky and not smooth the acrylic was dried underneath my nails I had to chisel it off. I've gotten two in the past month the first was okay but the one I got today was pretty decent. read more

Why? I ask you is it so hard to find a good place to get my nails done! Grrrr. It's starting to get to a point where I'm considering going to cosmetology school, just so I can learn the craft myself. I went here for a simple fill in, what could go wrong I asked myself? (Please refer to the photos provided taken in the nail salon to see what could go wrong.) There are about 4 nail salons in town and one would assume that they would be in competition with each other in some manner to say "Hey Let's be the nail salon that doesn't water down our nail polish so the customer's nail's look like they spent the afternoon working on cars in a body shop." Or, "You know what let's not grab our customers hand and pull around them like my dog treats their chew toys." Because the truth is maybe on some level I like to pay $80 to bleed out and get treated poorly. Nothing like a day at the spa. Oh well the search continues. read more

After giving this place yet another chance, here I am again, left very disappointed. My nails are absolute garbage. I went in, got in the chair, everything was going fine. A woman getting her toes done had finished and was waiting for my nail guy to do her nails. I guess he doesn't want to leave people waiting, so he just hurried thru and finished mine. My nails are uneven. Also, they are barely filed. I've cut my lip with my nail while scratching. I'm so disappointed and I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Nice cozy little shop that makes you feel comfortable. I only do pedicures, and they do a great job. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

I am so upset about my experience today. The woman there was very helpful, but my nails were done by one of the men working there, and he disappointed me in every aspect. I even showed him a picture of the shape and length of the acrylic nails I wanted, so I was unhappily surprised when they turned out extremely long and pointy. He hit me with the buffer when he wanted to get my attention to switch hands. The other man gave my friend a gel pedicure, when she asked for a normal pedicure, and he made her pay $20 extra. I'm sharing this in hopes that someone can see this and avoid this unorganized and disappointing mess. read more

I thought they did a nice job. There was no wait, the salon appeared clean. My technician was polite and thorough.

Comfortable, clean, peaceful shop. I have only had Judy do my nails and she certainly pays attention to detail. If I have a concern or see something I don't like she immediately corrects it to my satisfaction. Very easy to work with. She is always smiling and pleasant. They have great hours of operation, even open on Sunday! May not be a high-end, big city salon, but you definitely get treated like a person,not a client. read more

Stopped in for a mani pedi to give it a try due to the yelp reviews..first they pull the utensils out of a common drawer and do not sanitize them between customers..I did see him spray some watered down rubbing alcohol on the cuticle trimmer but that was it. I am surprised to read the five star reviews on this place and would never recommend it to anyone. My daughter had a gift certificate for a manicure. She chose a picture of musical notes that were shown to put on top of the nail polish, but the final job did not look at all like the picture and she was very disappointed. I had what was supposed to be a long-lasting gel nailpolish, but it apparently wasn't sealed right, because within a couple of days it was peeling. read more

I think it is really hit or miss. I have gone in and loved my nails, and then I go in the next time and hate them. It is always busy so you have to go in the right time. Usually go as a group for pedicures and I find even when I get started on last I am always the one who is finished first. Which irks me. My daughter got gel manicure for $25 and it lasted 5 days. But the people are friendly, so it's hard to completely complain. read more

I just moved to the area and am so glad that I found Sophie Nails. They are in a convenient location and I was able to get in right away. The Spa Pedicure was awesome and the price was right. They are very conscious about sanitizing too. I will definitely be back. read more

I am very disappointed. I always like to give more than 1 chance, because let's face it, we all have bad days. This last time, which is now my final, was a disaster. I had taken off a set a gel nails a month earlier, to be replaced fresh for a big trip. I actually brought in a nail sample from a 'stick on' package so there would be no misunderstanding with the language barrier. The set I received was not anything like the sample. The length and shape where exact opposite. I even place the sample over the top so he can see, but that did not help. Now, I have to rip these off and go someplace else. Like I said I tried several times in hopes they could get it right. It did not happen. You can do the same, but I am trying to save you some money and disappointment. read more
