One of the best experiences I've had at a nail salon in a very long time. Van did my pedicure. He really took his time and did an amazing job. Chloe did my manicure and I was pleased with my overall results. The prices are fair, the establishment is presentable and clean. I will definitely be back!! read more

Have acrylic nails with gel polish. I ripped my natural nail straight across, in the middle of my nail. It was horrible! I came in to get help and Scott proceeded to pour acetone on the injured nail. When I complained, he called me a big baby. I walked out and won't return. I had been going to them for years but never again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't typically write reviews but I feel obligated. Absolute worst nail salon experience to date. I had a regular pedicure and the technician, I believe her name was Linda, took a big chunk of skin out of the border of my big toe. It started bleeding immediately. She blotted it with something and the bleeding subsided. After she prepared my fingers for a no chip manicure I got up to wash my hands. Blood was pooling and spilling over my big toe. She did apologize and quickly cleaned it up and doused it with something. She made some inappropriate comments about how she was going to go home and tell her husband how she hurt a customer. Ugh! The bleeding stopped, however, 3 days later and I am currently soaking it in epsom salt and am afraid it is infected. It is red, swollen and painful. Guess I will be headed to the doctor tomorrow. Meanwhile my daughter also received a no chip manicure. She asked if a certain design was do-able. After much back and forth between my technician and hers, it took the gentleman literally over an hour and a half to do just her fingernails! They turned out well enough, or so we thought. Three days later and a no chip manicure is half gone. Make it make sense. Not sure how this place is still in business if this is how they do things. I would most definitely recommend going ANYWHERE else. Do not waste your hard earned money on this place! read more

My girlfriend got her nails done at this place. Not only is she upset, I'm upset as well. I told her to go get her nails done, and gave her some money. I will say it was a waste of money, and time. The guy that did her nails was EXTREMELY unprofessional. According to my girlfriend, he looked like he had no clue what he was doing. She wanted a specific color, and style, but instead got crooked nails with a completely different color. Her nails are not even straight, really bulky, and just very uneven. Apparently, her thumb nail broke off and he just used setting powder to put it back on. Now I'm no professional either, but I know dang well thats not what you're supposed to do. He filed her nails and cut her cuticle's too hard. Along with the style she wanted, the guy didn't allow her to her getting gems and having an initial on it; which is baffling since SHE is the one that wanted it. What I saw in the other reviews, is that they had designs on their nails and gems, so why couldn't she get some as well?? This whole thing is just unbelievable and we are both really disappointed and unsatisfied with the service. All in all, this was terrible and never letting her come back here again. read more

I absolutely love this place, they will always have my business! Chloe does such a amazing job doing the nail designs that i pick, never had a bad experience with them in 3+ Years! read more

I am new to the area and I have tried to go to this place 3 TIMES. All times at least an hour before closing and was told they were in able to take me. Only 2-3 customers in at the time. I will continue to make the drive to Leza Nail Spa in Romeoville. read more

Chloe was amazing! I was a walk in and she was able to assist while finishing up with other clients. My nails turned out amazing! Great experience and wonderful workers! read more

NOPE. This was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. I should have just left when I asked the guy who was doing my nails to please cut/trim my nails and he didn't know what I meant. I don't mean he didn't understand what I was saying, I mean he apparently didn't know how to cut nails with a clipper. A lady who was doing someone's manicure had to stop, come over and tell him three times what I was asking, but then she took the clippers from him and did it herself before returning to her client because he still didn't know. The massage was the equivalent of how I put lotion on my legs after I get out of the shower, but I do it with more pressure. I was grossed out when he cleaned up my pedicure polish by using a brush dipped in remover in a very used container with those foam inserts that you would use on yourself at home. He just kept dipping away in what was probably used on 100 other customers. I would never go back. They were friendly, but there is no way the guy who did my pedi was actually licensed. read more

Love Chloe she does an amazing job every time! Helen for pedicures are the most relaxing

They have greatly improved to the point where I feel guilty about last review. Super clean. Customer service so much better. Since all this Covid business you could probably eat off the floor. Everything sterilized and a complete turnaround! Go back out in the World and get them scary looking nails back to a place where you don't have to hide in shame read more

This is a pretty horrendously managed salon. The appointments are incredibly long- beyond imagination. Pedicure took 90 minutes and the tech doing it was so slow I wanted to scream. They overbook and you can be in there waiting for hours got a lackluster job. I will never return to this salon if it was the last one in 50 miles. read more

This passed experience was awful. She rushed through my nails didn't even let me wash my hands before the polish...plus she cut my fingers with the Emory board. I was wondering what was burning from the chemicals and when I left I saw the cuts. She just kept working. I go there once a month but won't be coming back. read more

Very rude. I walked not one person waiting asked for just a nail polish. I was told it will be a long wait. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I will never try again and make sure to tell everyone I know not to go here. read more

0 stars. Terrible. Disgusting. The salon was FILTHY, unorganized, and the employees were incredibly rude. My sister and I had appointments which we had for over a week. Making the appointment was a hassle as I had to explain multiple times which two services we wanted done at our appointment. Upon arriving, the same employee I spoke to greeted us and acted as though she had no recollection of our appointment. My sister had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to start on her nails. The employee then proceeded to RIP my sister's acrylics off her fingers despite me telling her at least 7 times she only wanted a fill-in not a full set. At check out, I politely mentioned to this employee that my sister was supposed to get a fill-in not a brand new full set and she became immediately defensive. Not wanting to deal with her attitude any longer, I simply said ok and handed her my payment. She responded by aggressively slamming my card and the receipt in my hand and walking away while saying something under her breath. I planned on still leaving a tip even after our horrible experience but she walked away before I could even try. This place is a health code violation and the employees had nasty attitudes to match. Only come here if you like bugs and nail techs with foul attitudes. read more

I had been a client for over a year, and I did know that if your appointment was later in the day you had to wait as appointments never really seemed to matter much. Therefore, I always made my appointment at 10am when they opened. I was scheduled every three weeks. The other day I came in three minutes late and Chloe had already been working on someone. I asked if I would have to wait, and she said yes. I indicated that I had a standing appointment, and she said she didn't see me, so she started someone else. That doesn't work for me, so I will be going elsewhere. She didn't even give me two minutes as she was already working on this person. If your time matters to you and appointment times matter to you, go elsewhere. If you like be treated decently and with good customer service, go somewhere else. Friendliness and salon fun is not something you'll ever find here. read more

Rude, told me not appointments over the phone and I sat their for an hour and watched two people who came in well after I did, only to be serviced before me. Walked out and left. The last fill I got wasn't great but the pedicures were decent for the shit choices we have in the area. read more

I have a mani pedi every two or three weeks. I always make an appointment and may have to wait a short time which is OK with me. Helen is my favorite technician. She is warm and friendly, and takes her time and I have never been disappointed. The environment is clean and the tools are sterilized. Also a liner is used in the pedicure tub. I always tip 20% to show my appreciation. read more

My mom and I just had pedicures and both had a wonderful experience! Did a great job and took their time.

Awful. Waited nearly two hours for a fill, other people were taken before us. Nobody told us about an extension to the wait. At 7pm when the advertised closing time came nobody came to tell us they wouldn't help us but rather went and sat in pedicure chairs to take a break. The one person out of the four of us who actually received service they then tried to overcharge and argued that the printed brochure she chose her service from didn't have the correct price even tho all the printed advertised materials at the front where we booked our services stated the price she thought she would pay not the price they tried to charge then they were extremely rude and laughed at our frustration. Never will be back awful location, awful business. They don't deserve any stars if 0 was an option they'd have it. I never would have even posted if they had any manners or communication at all. read more

My friend & I got our nails done today. It was a good day, we're feeling good. Although, I wanted to get coffin nails & I got square!! Also, towards the end of my visit, my friends nails got rushed because someone else walked in & the lady rushed to get to the new customer. My nail lady didn't even clean up my nail beds, that's so sad. They hurt so bad. I'm crying. Anywho, these people want money, not very nice. But they are one of the cheapest places in the Minooka / Channahon area. That's cool. Nice nails though. read more

If I could I would give this place 0 stats due to the fact that they cut 3 of my fingers. He saw me in pain and that I had tears in my eyes and he kept on going harder, and making it worse. He also made one of my fingers bleed. I asked for coffin nails and my shape is oval. He needs to learn his shapes. Venus needs to give the customers what they want . read more

Everyone was nice the place is clean.I really wanted to give this place a chance because of the wonderful reviews. I was loving the massage chair the relaxing music. Everything WAS going really well, I am not trying to be rude at all but...The older gentleman doesn't know what he's doing. I kinda felt sorry for him but I had to cut my own toe nails. After that I still have him a chance then I came to a point I couldn't stand it any longer. I got up from the chair offered to pay apologized told the front person he doesn't know what he was doing. This was as kind and calm as I could get. They told me it was OK and paid nothing. So this is my vote, TAKE YOUR CHANCES. read more

I've been coming here for a year now. Tried once to go to the other nail salon in Minooka by dunkin and had an awful experience before I was even seated and left and headed back to Venus. The prices are great, the staff is welcoming, and the service is stellar! I highly recommend it! read more

Came for pedicure, I'm visiting from out of town. Small business, clean. My toes look like I completed myself. There are nicks and scratches, and they did not paint the entire nail, leaving bare nail at bed and tip if toe. Very sad with quality of work. Will not be back when I'm in town again. read more

My first visit I was very impressed with the multiple choices for pedicures, the time they took to do a great job, and the cleanliness. However, I've tried coming here 3 times since and it's too long of a wait since there's 2 people who work. They need to hire more people. read more

Spent 45 min waiting for a pedicure and eye brow wax, never got the wax because my pedi took over an hour and the other 3 girls I was with didnt even get a chance to get services started after waiting 2 hours. one of the employees actually finished his last customer (again, 3 girls still waiting to be seen) and took his shoes off/put his feet up. There was no communication that they were not going to be able to accommodate their services. Then, they tried charging me a $2 "sanitation" fee that wasnt advertised anywhere visible and not even the receptionist knew what it was for. I told them I wasnt paying the extra fee and they mocked me. read more

Once I went here and got gel nails, and one completely came off 2 days after getting them done.
