Super small spot but Jay is a super adorable older man who you can tell really loves what he does…read more I got passport photos taken here, the price is now 2 for $20 which is still cheaper than the typical Walmart ones and in my opinion the quality is way better. For me the first time I went it was a bit difficult finding the spot in the plaza, so to save future customers from circling around it is near the Popeyes, in the corner next to the bank!

This is just a little hole in the wall run by the nicest man in a shared office space that does…read moreon-the-spot photos and retouching. He has a sign outfront advertising passport photos for a reasonable price, and that's why I went in. In and out in 5 minutes. He took the photo, printed out 2 copies, stamped the backs, and wrote a receipt. CASH ONLY, and the passport photos cost $12 total which I thought was an excellent deal for on the spot. The photos he took were accepted immediately and without question by the Passport Canada office, which is worth much for than $12. If you have ever had a passport photo taken only to be told something is not quite right, you know the benefit of having an experienced photographer take a photo devoid of emotions and then scale/crop/print to the exacting measurements they require. It appears that a large portion of his business model is for retouching old and damaged photos. Basically a professional Photoshopper. I didn't use him for this service, but I do lots of Adobe Photoshop work and his retouches looked pretty good. He had a few certificates apparently for awards. But for passport photos, he is cheap, knowledgeable, and just a nice dude.

Got a like-new Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens for $299. Seriously. He knocked off…read more$50 because my budget was $300. This store is full of goodies for amazing prices. I have no idea where the hell I was (mostly because I don't live here), but I have a feeling this is near the middle of BFE. One of the reps at the other Henry's on Eglinton was sweet enough to actually draw my dumbass a map to this store. Either way, it's definitely worth trekking out there if you're in the mood to get new camera toys but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I've never seen a used camera shop like this in Denver. It's amazing. (This entire strip on Dundas E seems to be full of outlets and the like.)

I think that henrys and me just generally speaking have issues with each other. I got a quote done…read morefrom the Toronto location(which is closed on Sunday, but all other GTA locations are open...makes sense...!) so I got this location to flip the quote over into an actual order, which when I was dealing with the gentlemen over the phone, he seemed to be very exasperated over the phone over the whole ordeal, which boggled my mind, considering the amount the order was for. I was told that one of the items I requested was not in stock and they would have had to get it transferred from the main warehouse to them, I told them that this was fine, but I needed it by a certain date. the item came in a day early, which was great news, but horrible in comparison to it taking a grand total of three business days for the item to come in(they missed the first transfer truck, and the second transfer truck wasn't until two days later) I swung by, picked up my goodies and was on my marry way, or so I thought. upon coming home and testing out the equipment I purchased, I was to find out that one item was missing the "factory packaging" which I didn't think much of it, until I went to use it and found out the item was defective(learned a lesson here, test it before you leave...) so I went back the following day, to be ignored by a manager/supervisor and ignored by the gentleman who cashed me out...which again, I thought was really weird considering how much money I spent at this location, after about 20 minutes of waiting for someone to help me, I was finally taken care of, the piece of equipment was swapped out, with a little paper work. I'm happy with my equipment that I got, but the process, and general service I received, really grinds me to the bone. this location has ample parking, but it is very tight parking in regards to a larger vehicle, and you can smack into curbs or into the columns that are protecting the store, an ok location, close to the highways, not a lot of stock as it is the outlet location.
