There was no wait and the service was quick, and impeccable. I felt the photos were of good quality, it was a great value to get a passport photo with a fast turn around, I was in and out in less than 15min. They take cash that includes tax, so come prepared. They also have a mirror for you to check your appearance before taking the photo and the staff was able to gently and kindly remind me to move my hair, straighten up, etc to ensure the photo was taken to meet standards. The shop is located in the second floor so look for the sign, walk up a flight of stairs and you'll see the office shortly after getting up to the landing.

They are professional and love their work and it really shows. There's a mirror with combs and spraybottle in case you want to do some last min touch ups. They give directions for hair, pose, as well as some post shoot touchups. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and the photos always turn out really nice. I've had a few people see my passport and ask where I've gotten the photo done. Their prices are great too. My dad got lazy once and went somewhere else closer and he paid more for 1 copy than we usually do for 2. We haven't gone anywhere else ever since. This time I ended up getting two digital photos, but you have the choice of digital or 2 hard copy, and you can always come back later if you decide you also want the hard copy. Keep in mind it's cash only. They also do photo for babies. My go to spot for photos, highly recommend.

After trying (and failing) to get my photos done over lunch at Shoppers Drug Mart (where apparently no one knows how to use a camera), I came here because it's open late and I was busy till 9. The guy made sure I was up to Passport standards (no hair in face, no sunglasses on head, etc.) and took a few photos before he got one he was satisfied with. Handed in my application this morning and they were satisfied with the photos as well, which is all that really matters. Would not be getting my passport in time to travel if it was not for this place!

**** DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, ENERGY HERE ALERT****…read more Exactly my experience here. I had my Canadian passport picture taken here. Pictures got REJECTED by the PASSPORT OFFICE, I had to scramble to get the picture retaken outside while wasting another hour to get back in line. The commissioner told me that the pictures cannot have glares, which prevents facial recognition to work properly. She told me to get a refund from this photo place. Then I came back to this place. Waited out of courtesy until all other customers left, then told him what happened and asked for a refund. He says he doesn't do refund. PERIOD. I wasted two trips here, wasted money, additional time at the passport office, and lastly energy arguing with the owner. On why he thinks the picture is totally valid and that the passport office had made a mistake. He thinks I should have come made another trip to get my pictures retaken. I was at the passport office in downtown... Worst customer experience, he must have a lot of business, surely lost it from me.

We (the family) having been using the services of Scarborough Passport Photo Centre for over 5…read moreyears,. We have ALWAYS appreciated the Patience and Understanding in dealing with 2 of our baby girls, in getting there pictures, and also my wife and myself... With our first daughter we went to another photographer/company first, and our 4 month old started to cry and they where not understanding, and asked us to come back when she wouldn't cry, REALLY!!! So when we found SPPC, we where so relieved, as she did cry again, and Yasmin (I believe is the owner) comforted her and she stopped crying, and the photo was taken... Just this past week, I mentioned to one of Yasmin's employees how difficult it's been to submit all the documents needed to get my wife's Canadian Citizenship. She said call Yasmin, as she will help us in this 5 year journey I've been on! After speaking to Yasmin, she made a appointment with us, as paid her assistant to come in and work, while she helped us out... Just to give context, I tried hiring a lawyer specializing in Citizenship Applications, and after meeting with him, and realizing that he didn't seem to know what he was doing, I was at a loss to figure out what to do next... To top it off, he said his services would cost $1,600.00 dollars and he couldn't guarantee she would get it, WOW!!! This journey was very stressful for my wife and I, as we heard the horror stories of making mistakes on the application... So after meeting with Yasmin and following her instructions, we submitted the Application yesterday, HOORAY!!! And to top it off, Yasmin wouldn't take a penny from us, now that's class!!! I asked her she was doing this for us, as I have the means to pay her, and her reply was "I like to give back!!!" GOD BLESS YOU YASMIN!!!

A while back, when I used to work at Yonge and Eglinton, I took the subway up to the Passport…read moreCanada location at Yonge, just north of Sheppard. I remember seeing a photo centre in the lobby if you needed a passport photo. Ten years ago, I got my passport renewed at the Passport Office at Scarborough Town Centre. I remember seeing a similar photo centre back then on the main floor. I realized that they are owned by the same folks. Last month, while standing in line at the Passport Canada office in Scarborough to have my documentation checked and to grab a number to head upstairs for part two of my passport renewal process, I looked at the Scarborough Passport Photo Centre in front of me. Although I am not the type who would get my photos taken here first, followed by jumping into the passport lineup, I do like that this photo establishment is here: - If you like that stress to do your photos at the last minute, you can here - If your original photos for your visa, passport, or whatever are either outdated or invalid after speaking to a Passport Canada person, you can get them done here and continue the application process without returning on another day I was envious that there weren't any lineups to get your photo taken. This place had steady business on a Monday afternoon. Prices aren't posted outside the door. While standing in a passport lineup maze, there was a poster of the types of photos that this store does. It didn't have any prices. I find that if you plan ahead to get your passport photos taken, you'll pay less. The best deal that I know of is if you are a CAA Plus or Premier member. Passport photos are free with your membership. Otherwise, it's under $10 if you're a classic CAA member and $20 if you're a non-member. I used to be a CAA member when I had a car that didn't have roadside assitance. My current car does with Toyota, so I haven't had a need to be with CAA. I went with Grace Convenience to get my passport photos done. It was $14.99 for two photos and they worked out nicely. They were done in ten minutes and looked professional. At this place, passport photos are $25. You are paying more for them. However, it does look like a professional studio when you peer into the store. I saw shirts there. My guess is that if your attire isn't suitable for a passport photo, you can change into a shirt that is available at this store. It's brilliant. Hopefully, it's a clean shirt that is laundered after each customer wears it. It's smart to have such a business next to Service Canada for your passport, visa, permanent residence, and more that require a photo with your application. I personally won't be using it as I'm more of a planner who likes to check out prices. However, if you are in a bind for a quality photo, this place is for you. (119)
