Entrance to trail, great place to take your friendly pups on a walk.

Such a clean, nature filled trail. I've been multiple times and have always felt safe. Definitely recommend

This rating is for the parking safety measures... Tried to take a nice walk at this Trail, but when we got to one of the parking spots, on Lake Meridian Middle School side of the street, there were 4 cars parked and 1 empty space for our car. But as we were about to get out of the car, a very nice woman came and informed us that we shouldn't park there since 3 of the cars were broken into. As I looked, the driver side of the windows were broken into on 3 of the cars that were parked there. Thanks to the woman, we quickly left since we also did not want our car to be vandalized. Dunno what happened to this park area, but no longer safe. I would recommend you go somewhere else!!!

One of the tucked away trails located in Kent. Pretty wide paths in the spring and friendly people on the trail (if you see any that is). There was a mix of everything here: walkers, runners, people riding their horses and families too. Very flat trail which is great if you are looking for a knee friendly spot. A ton of animals and birds too. Will definitely return!

    The trail is paved.

This is a nice place to take a long walk and your own pace. It's covered by trees so your not to exposed to the elements. There is a children's play area and there are restrooms. Parking is available. The trail itself has only 1 high point most is on and even level. So you can go out 2 1/2 Mel's without breaking too much of a sweat. I was told that it goes out further than the amount of miles I am able to walk. Charge! take on the day. Your body will thank you.

Highlight of trail was the fact that people were walking and riding. An active trail is what you want to see when your outside. There are serval entryway to the trail. Places to sit and take in the fresh air. I felt safe out there. The trail does not loop around. Trash cans and restrooms are within the trail depending how far you venture into your walk. A perfect stroll on any given day.

I have walked this trail for years, I AM SO SURPRISED no one has Yelped it! I find this trail very beautiful to look at. It goes from Lake Meridian to Meeker Junior High School and there is a lot to see in between. I have seen runners, bikers, slow walkers, fast walkers, and even horses. The trail accommodates them all. There are a few break points in the trail that you can pick up at or start at the beginning and go all the way to the end. I like to mix it up and start in different places. All of it is paved except for the part for horses. At times there are benches and picnic tables to rest. There is also a playground at one point and a covered table with a BBQ. There are restrooms at that park, but only port-a-potties at either end of the complete trail. It is just as beautiful during the winter as it is during the summer. I was here yesterday for a brisk morning walk and it was so great!

I've driven by the trailhead near Meeker Elementary School for years and always wanted to check it out. Finally this week it's been warm enough to get out and enjoy the outdoors, so I figured I'd give it a try. Within the first mile I was kicking myself for not coming sooner. Great changes in scenery along the way from forest to wetlands with a few maintained areas near the midpoint for picnicking and whatnot. Wide fully paved path six miles from end to end. From the end opposite Meeker Elementary it's just a short hike to lake Meridian.

Super friendly and a fun trail to go on to take your dogs out or go bike riding! Really love the nature there and your just surrounded by trees an all super dope.

Beautiful place to take the family for a walk. It's perfect to find a section for a jog or a bike ride as well.

This is the best trail in the entire Seattle area. It is peaceful and separated from highways. You can walk or run for miles.

I believe there's a horse trail that runs parallel to the paved trail as well.

As we got closer the map had all water, hehe. What a nice spontaneous surprise, we decided to do take the Fauntleroy Ferry to Vashon Island. ( will do a review the Ferry after). Who doesn't love the Ferry?! After we got to Vashon Island, it was about a 20 min scenic drive to Point Robinson Park, So happy we are here! Keep in mind the park gates closes at dawn, I was worried about being stuck there and we arrive close to dawn. Plenty parking, very nice park with lighthouse, beach, trails and picnic area. First things first, lets look for the troll, which his name is Oscar the bird king, made by Thomas Dambo. Thomas Dambo is an artist based in Denmark, Thomas makes sculptures out of recycled materials. This sculpture is part of series of six site specific installations called Northwest trolls. I need to find the other 4 during my future visits to PNW. Wow, super cool to see and visit Oscar the troll in real life, a little scary but so interesting. Thomas is super creative and got skills. Oscar is huge in real life, hehe. We took our photos, observed the artistic skills, greeted him with Shaka, then after that we went to explore the rest of Robinson Park. Trail, beach and we finally got to the lighthouse, another reason to visit. There's a lighthouse tour during mid May-September, which I would love to learn more about. All in all, What a great day to make it a great day here, trolling Point Robinson Park, LOVED every moment!

The trails were muddy this time of year so wear better footwear than I did. The beach by the lighthouse was lovely. There are lighthouse tours Sundays from 12pm to 4pm. Lots of benches surround the lighthouse to take in the ocean. It's crazy to think a huge city is just across the water from this beautiful small island.
