My son really enjoyed this park and I gotta say I did too. They have a swing that we both really enjoyed, the swing had 2 seats so me and Jay can look at eachother while we were on it and they have 2 zip lines which is always a crowd favorite. Definitely gonna come here again, also the covered areas for parties are really clean and made well.

The playground is nice and new and has fun toys for the kids. There was a few bbqs going on the weekend we went that were playing not kid appropriate songs while we were there. Very loudly! Which kinda sucked but I get that that is not the parks fault. My kids also play football here and the fields for this are very nice and well kept, way better than what my kids have been used to playing on in Renton. Only downside to this is the parking lot on the field side is small, on game day the lot gets completely full and some people double park making it really hard to drive in.

Open concept park. Neat toys. Different than most parks. Great zip line, soft turf, lots of toddler and handi capable options and they offer a few covered areas for parents. The big bonus is there is a work out area off to the left for people to work out on for free. There's also lots of seating area around the park for parents to sit and watch their children which is something that a lot of parks lack. I like this park.

One of my favorite parks in the neighborhood!! It's super clean and they have newer playground equipment for kids too. You a little bit of the old with the new. It's also great to throw get togethers or parties. Also a nice place for your kids to run wild during soccer season while they wait for their games to start.

only been here a couple times but i definitely like it love the view and the park!!!!

Great place for 5 and up. Parents need to stay with the younger children for the zipline.

What is the availability of the soccer field? Do I need to book it? If so, how?

It's a wonderful community destination because it's easy to reach, and both the park and lake are generally kept clean, attractive, and well maintained. Like many popular recreation areas, the lake can become quite busy on warm days and weekends, and occasionally some litter is left behind. What I appreciate is that by the next morning the area is often cleaned up again thanks to the hard work of park staff and community members who help keep the park looking its best. One of my favorite things about Steel Lake is that it is stocked with trout once or twice each year, providing great fishing opportunities throughout much of the season. Visitors come here to fish, swim, kayak, paddleboard, and enjoy boating, with only battery-powered motors permitted on the lake. Overall, Steel Lake is a fantastic local resource that offers something for everyone and remains one of the best places in the area to spend a relaxing day outdoors.

So much to do and so much fun activities for the kids!!…read more They fixed the playground so there were additional games the kids can do. The best part is you can visit their website and you can check if the water is okay for the kids to play with . There's usually an update regarding if you can swim and such. The only thing I'm worried about is when there is no one there to facilitate the other kids swimming, because I noticed there were lots of kids who goes there without their parents or guardians. The cops do come around for their rounds sometimes, but not all the time . I always have my eyes on my kids because there were sooooooo many people and soo many kids during school break holidays and I can't even imagine summer break. If you want to entertain your kids for hours bring them here and just have a picnic and enjoy the sand with the kids. Don't forget the shovel and bucket though lol.
