I believe the lady who did my eyebrows was name was Tania? She had glasses on. Apologies if this wasn't her name. This was my first time coming and will be back! She's the first person to ever thread my eyebrows without cutting my skin with the string. She was quiet and fast. Big plus bring cash it's only $6! Card is $7. The place is nothing fancy, really could use an updating in my opinion but I only come for the threading so it's not a big deal to me. If you can deal with that, come here for your eyebrows. read more

Sometimes, getting your eyebrows threaded can be painful and make you tear up a little if you're a baby like me. Sony's is in a very convenient strip mall off of FM 1960 and Taniya is....an angel. She does my eyebrows perfectly every time in a way that is painless and the rogue eyebrow hairs don't even start to grow back until 2-3 weeks later. She is sweet and FAST--but still takes all the time needed to make sure your eyebrows are fab. And most importantly, it is AFFORDABLE for a working girl like me--$7 for brows (plus tip for such experienced staff :~)). You gotta go! read more

I love close and they are the best brow spot I have found on this side of town. I ALWAYS get my brows done by Taniya. I've never tried anyone else but she does my eyebrows perfect every time. Come early in the day if you can. They can get really crowded after people get off work and weekends. read more

Taniya has always done my eyebrows since I moved to Texas. I make sure to only go on the days she works. She does a good job on my eyebrows.

Taniya is the best! Never thin my eyebrows out! Love coming to this place always personable and good costumer service !

Super fast job for a good price and I really like my eyebrows. However, there's one downfall: The woman who did my eyebrows was a bit rough with it and it actually made my skin scab up and feel super irritated under my eyebrow, near my eyelid (see the picture attached). I have been getting my eyebrows done for years and have never had this happen to me at the place I usually go to. I would probably give this place another chance, though, just to see if maybe my next experience is better. read more

I finally found the right person to do the job!!!! Jimmy is the one who does my crazy eyebrows. She knows exactly how to make them look awesome.I haven't tried anyone else but I guess I got lucky to get her. I recommend this place 100%. Very inexpensive beauty fix. read more

If you need your eyebrows done on the Northside, this is the place to go. Taniya gets me right every time, and it's only $7!

I am a breast cancer survivor & the older lady that is always there made rude comments about me having bald eyebrows when I was starting to grow them back. I decided to try again now that they're fully back I asked her to please make my eyebrows even and leveled and she told me she couldn't that my face was messed up. Exactly in those words, very rude lady. read more

I've had several of the ladies here and no one is bad, but Taniya is easily the best. She is painless and quick but definitely takes her time. The others are good too, but not as quick and you can feel the hairs being cut. But I always walk out satisfied with how everything looks. read more

I've only been here a couple of times, but each time I have been taken care of by Taniya! She works fast and the threading was virtually painless with her. Taniya has amazing customer service and I felt so comfortable with her right off the bat! I will continue to come here and ask for Taniya read more

My eyebrows are messed up, I have two different brows their not twins or sisters their cousins!

Absolutely love love love this place! Taniya always takes amazing care of me. I came to her with uneven & messed up eyebrows & she has fixed them!! I do a full face threading, eyebrows & underarm waxing. Her prices are amazing & the attention to detail is top notch. I come from the Woodlands to see her, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Best place ever! They are quick and cheap and so so sweet ! I literally had no wait and it took 10mn to get my eyebrows threaded. Definitely recommend ! read more

This has been the only place I've gotten my eyebrows done since I moved to the north Houston are five years ago. This location is always clean! Once you get in the chair, they don't rush working on you and definitely treat you as if you are the only one there. I appreciate their customer service and reasonable prices! read more

i've been coming here since 2016 or so and they never disappoint! i've always been given speedy service and the ladies are so sweet and gentle. taniya is the threading queen in my book, she's a sweetheart. the prices are also so reasonable and the establishment itself is insanely clean. i love this place! read more

I come here all the time to get my eyebrows done they're the best, but as we speak I'm sitting here in the nail salon for the first time. Wow, what a difference, these ladies are extremely rude. I'm going to not that I'm African American and everyone else in here at the moment is not. I got the most unkind stare as I walked over to begin my pedicure. I don't understand why. And as soon as my pedicure began, someone doing another ladies told my technician to work on HER customer. My technician asked if I was ok with waiting a few min, but I've now been waiting 15 min on her to finish and she is not even close. As she's coming over to do mine now she keeps repeatedly getting up to help the lady next to me! Stopping my pedicure! Never again will I get my nails done here. read more

This place is so good will definitely be going here from now on. Especially with Taniya she did an excellent job with me and my friend!

Sony is the BEST. Her shop is 40 min from my house, but the drive is totally worth it! Your eyebrows can make such a difference to how your entire face looks...I won't go to anyone else. read more

I randomly found this place as I was visiting my sister and I desperately needed to get rid of my caterpillars sitting on my forehead. They do have a sign in sheet so make sure to sign in but they need to reinforce it as well. Someone did walk in before me but I guess they didn't sign in. So it got confusing. Besides that, the lady that did my eyebrows did a great job! The prices are a tad bit lower than the regular place I go. I will say the shopping center is a little shady but that won't stop me. I will definitely be back! Edit: I came back for my 2nd time and the main lady was really rude. I had already put my name down on the list and waiting over 30 mins. I was waiting for the next available lady not Sony as she had other people waiting for her. Well this lady walks in and the second lady just sits her down onto her chair. When I bring it to her attention that I've been waiting she says "oh ok well your next" how is it that I've been waiting over 30 mins and this lady that just walks in gets to be seen right away. Then Sony with a really bad attitude said "well you were talking so she went to the next person". Really rude and bad customer service. I have somewhere to be so I was listening and keeping my eye open to when I would be next. I did not know the lady that was before me was waiting for Sony so if that was the mix up then that is not my fault. That was why I didn't walk into the chair since I didn't know the lady before was waiting for Sony. Horrible customer service!! Trust me there are other eyebrow threading business with customer service, great prices and good work. read more

Walked in and got attended right away. Didn't see "sony" because she was busy but the other girl was magnificent. Unfortunately I did not get her name but I was very well pleased with how my eyebrow threading was. She wasn't agressive at all and was very quick. Will definitely be going back read more

I loooooove this place, I live in Magnolia and I come down here every 2 weeks to get my eyebrows done and upper lip. Sony is amazing and all the girls are pretty knowledgeable on how your hair is growing. Every time I used to just wax, the waxers would get confused and only talk about how curly my eyebrows are... Here, no issues and they tell me when I'm tweezing too much or how I can help my curly eyebrows. I haven't tried any other services, but I'm sure they're just as great. read more

People say Sony is the best- i think they mean she is the ONLY one who should do your eyebrows. I have been getting my brows threaded for years, but have never experienced pain, just slight discomfort such as when you are tweazing like I did here. A day after I got my brows threaded by one of these women, my brow lids started scabbing! That means she was threading the top layer of my skin! Also, I got my underarms waxed a few times, the first 2 times were great, but the last woman burned me and when I told her that she burned me, she responded by telling me that its good for ingrowns! Which I don't have!!! My underarms started scabbing for a few days. AWFUL! I would not have came back so many times but there is no other threading place nearby which sucks because I am too impatient to drive. read more

Soni has been doing my brows for over ten years. I have thick eyebrows and I only trust her with them. I'm told by other people her helpers or good. She recently added a nail salon which I'm going to give a try soon. She does the best threading that I've ever had and I trust only Soni. read more

I've been doing my eyebrows with Sony for about 4 years now. I used to live in Humble, and now in east down town, but I still make the drive. She's the only one I trust with these eyebrows!! I've gone out of town for extended periods of time, and every time I come back she fixes others mistakes to get me back to my full brows. read more

I have only gone to sonys ever since I met her at Deerbrook mall. She's the only one I let do my brows. She's amazing a true Eyebrow artist and kind person. She might be 20mins away now but I'll drive an hour if need be! read more

This is my go-to place! I don't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows. Taniya almost always does mine and she's amazing! Very kind and welcoming! I'm always happy with how she does my eyebrows. Perfect every time! read more

Taniya did an AMAZING job with my eyebrows!! They're so even and the shape is nice ... I had to go back in there and ask her for her name because I loved how my eyebrows turned out ! read more

I usually go to Sony, but I was in a rush so I decided to give the other lady in the shop a chance. I asked for my eyebrows to be cleaned and the result I got was a million times less than pleasing. I had to tell her EXACTLY what I wanted which I never have to do with Sony and my eyebrows come out perfect every time with SONY. The lady I went to, her name is Rima/Reema and I couldn't even believe her when she said that she has been doing brows for 5 years. What she has been doing is getting by, clearly. I feel like if you can't do many different types of eyebrow, you can only do extremely thick brows, then YOU ARE NO GOOD. And I made the decision to let her touch my face one day before my birthday party. I am very disappointed in the results of my brows. I know that eyebrows are not twins but she made mine look like distant cousins, twice removed, who want nothing to do with eachother. I am outraged and more upset that I still paid $9 for some bull*!!! IF I ever come back I will only go to Sony. Anyone who ever comes to Sony's Eyebrows should only be serviced by Sony and if she is not available I would suggest leaving. read more

I've came here a few times, and I'll definitely be coming back! Taniya does a WONDERFUL job!

I went to the location in Willowbrook and the lady told me they does not do the eyebrows to man, I told her that I went to that place three times already with my wife too and she said that the owner told her not to get men customers. I called Sony on the Humble location where I went multiples times too and the two ladies that answer told me she is busy and they dont do men eyebrows. That is ridiculous because thats where I always go always too. She never passed the phone to her and I told her that I will have to put a bad review and she told me go ahead and do it, like she does not care. I never do bad reviews but they really deserve it.. read more

I have been going to the same shop to get my eyebrows waxed for 15 years. I'm very particular about my eyebrows to say the least. I chose this shop for convenience & hours of operation. I love the eyebrow threading it is literally the best!!! As for the mani and pedi I received recently was very weird the lady who did my toes her hands shook a lot and she dug so far in my toenail I was cringing and moving involuntarily and saying ow!! I didn't understand her as she had a mask on her face and got mad cause I said I'm sorry I didn't understand you.. Then the lady who did my acrylic wow she was so rude at first and yanking my hands and stuff I was extremely sad and depressed already and getting a day out from just having a baby and wanting to relax got exactly the opposite normally I only get my eyebrows but like I said it was a special occasion and I went home not at all relaxed and even more sad thanks ladies for making me even more emotional!!!! read more
