Hmm, after being on Percocet for over 10 years, he reduced me to Vicodin and was going to ween me off completely. The big problem with that is that I needed those stronger pills. He offered NO solution, No substitute! Since that time I've had 2 more fusions and the botched first surgery still alters my life. Thank God that when I moved to Kingman (most specialist are horrible there), I found a great pain doctor. I would love to have the Intracept Ablation, which would probably end my 16 year chronic pain issue, but no one wants to take the metal out of my lower back to solve my problem. Anyway, I am back in Phoenix and I would travel back up to Kingman before using Arizona Pain. Don't get a day off from work usually so I asked if I could fill it out really quick there and they said sure but would have to wait until 1pm to see the next provider. They act like getting pain management from them is some benevolent experience, as though what they prescribe is the end all. My husband was dealing with Julie Overbey and her staff who were so rude to him. My husband has a medical condition that when he urinates it sprays everywhere. They would not let me go back to help get a urine sample so he would not spray all over their floor. He was trying to be respectful. He was so embrassed trying to explain this to them. He asked them if he could have a water because he did not feel like he had to urinate and they refused to give him a bottle of water. They said he was refusing to give them a urine sample and he wasn't, he just needed help to give them one. They said he was being combative because they would not answer any of his questions. So they gave him a refill and discharged him from the practice. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I have a legal power of attorney which means I am in charge of all his care because he is disabled and they said their policy of only patient goes back trumps my legal document. He was very much discriminated against. I went in to try and talk to the office manager because he needs care. She was not helpful at all and just kept saying that it was the owners policy noone but patient goes back, no exceptions. While I was waiting for my husband a lady came in with her little boy, I don't think he was any older than 4 or 5. The lady said they were asking. JULIE OVERBEY to see if he could go back.
