They take appts but then cannot honor that appt. They have no receptionist. You use a kiosk and sit and wait and wait and wait even though you have an appt. What is the point of allowing patients to make appts when they get treated just like a walk in? Your whole system is broken. Oh and it would help to have more then one phlebotomist for a waiting room full of people. It was at least 20 min a patient because the one person had to do it all. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I was a walk-in at 7am opening time. A few people with appointments were ahead of me. Check in on the kiosk was really quick and easy. My wait was about 20 minutes in the waiting area which was clean and comfortable. The Phlebotomist Tech was Cheyenne who was very polite and thorough. She carefully checked the Lab Oder, entered the info in the system, got the stick-on labels applied to the vials and drew my blood. I'm usually a "hard stick", but she found the vein quickly and was very gentle. No pain at all. I have used the Sonora Quest Lab in Sierra Vista a number of times and have never had any issues with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend them. read more

1. They have no receptionist, per the lab tech. Don't bother calling, they don't answer the phone. You are referred to the website. For a billing issue, the wait was 161 minutes to speak to someone. 2. THEY DIDN'T DO THE CORRECT TESTS!! The tech has to take you back to the lab, verify insurance information and input it, take payment, and finally take blood. With all of that to do, no wonder they grabbed the wrong tubes for my tests. 3. I had to drive from Benson to Sierra Vista (45 minutes one way). They didn't take Medicare and I had to pay for the wrong tests! Never again. Money I'll never get back. read more

So after our Labcorp experience which I'll never go back due to rude unprofessional people working there I found Sonora Quest Laboratories which was awesome. There's plenty of parking, lots of seating inside and the staff was friendly. We will definitely make this our go to for lab work. read more

I sent the following email to websupport@sonoraquest.com. "My PCP DR. ordered a COVID-19 test for me at Sonora Quest Lab. in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I registered, opened an online account, and scheduled to do that at 12:30 PM on 11.21.2023 I have wellcare/Allwell Dual Liberty Insurance, as well as AHCCCS coverage. I tried hard to find out if the total cost of the test would be covered by the insurance. However, there was no way to find that out through my account and patient portal. I was forced to call and there was no option to talk to anyone about that. I pressed the option 7 button and the respondent transferred me to someone else, who told me that order from my doctor had been received but she could not inform me if the cost would be covered by my insurance and I should call my insurance to find that out, instead of asking me for my Insurance ID numbers and doing that herself. All the other medical facilities and doctors' offices do that themselves and provide the information to the patients before scheduling. I cancelled the appointment of 11.21.2023 for the above reason. You need to make changes in patients' accounts and portals as well as in phone options so that one can find out such important financial information before scheduling. If you provide me with the information that I need, I may reschedule the appointment." read more

Didn't know that pregnancy came with endless blood draws, but it does and Sonora Quest has become a second home to my husband and me. However, it's not so bad when you are welcomed and handled by such a great staff, like at this location. All of the phlebotomists are kind and quick, even when met with angry/rude/thoughtless people (oh we've seen it all). Have any questions regarding the draw your getting, they are always more than happy to explain the meaning behind the testing in easy, understandable terms. Like I said, I've been here quite a few times and have always enjoyed the staff and my experience! No complaints! Started coming to this lab after constantly having only ONE staff member at LabCorp to handle every aspect of annual draws for work. This Sonora Quest location has always had multiple techs to help me & front desk clerk Maria even tried to resolve MY screw ups with not bringing the reservation paperwork I scheduled AND the new clerk at my doctor's office sent the paperwork to the awful aforementioned LabCorb office AND the computer system was down. That's service above & beyond in Sierra Vista. Once checked in I've gotten a very quick, efficient, stick from Carol despite my nonexistent veins & no bruising, which is refreshing. Hands down better experience then even the awesome techs at the VA. If you don't like waiting & starving for a fasting lab, then I encourage you to book an appointment online. I just tried to call this place the day before Christmas Eve to find out about their holiday hours --two labs have been unexpectedly closed today, and when I finally got the clerk on the phone and asked her, she hung up on me. Learn to treat customers better than that! read more

Rude staff. Not ADA access. Lengthy waita.

I made an online appointment for 1:45pm. I arrived at 1:20pm and singed in and asked if they had my doctors orders for labs. The lady told me she would need to check. At 1:40pm I asked if she had my orders. The lady looked down at a pile of papers and told me she would get to me. I waited outside. At 2:15pm another lady came outside and told they did not have my doctors orders and gave me a fax number. Very unprofessional. A staff should of checked if they had orders when I first checked instead of having me for almost an hour. I am sorry to say there are not many choices living in a one horse town, I have to deal with a one horse lab. read more

Made an appointment to have covid testing, showed up 9 minutes early. Reception stated "I'll be with you in a minute. 5 minutes later she returned and checked me in. Told me to wait outside and fill out a form. 15 minutes after my appointment someone came out and took the form and someone would be with me shortly. 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment I was finally taken in for the test. While waiting all the walk in patients that were in the lobby when I arrived had been taken care of as well as a couple of people that arrived after I did. If you can use another lab I recommend it as customer service is dismal here. This is the second time for this at this lab for me. read more

this facility has a lazy and incompetent staff. I have insurance and they constantly mess up my claims and send a collection agency on me. i have paid out of pocket to get them off my back in the past, but not this time. read more
