Book an appointment if you wish to access this facility. I came in as a walk in. I should have left for my xray a long time ago but I think I was too optimistic. I came in at 11 am. It is over an hour an a half now. I was 15 in the cue, went down to 3, then back to 9, down to 2, bumped to 3 again. Make an appointment and even those who did had to wait a very long time. Once I was taken in, Nathan was amazing and brought in the team lead, Esmeralda who got it flowing the first time. I was going to give this a one star but to be fair, they are now a three. Women with attitude and nothing is their fault. Going through system updates and lost my standing blood work orders. Said it was the Dr fault. Called the Dr and they've complained multiple times to their Sonora Quest rep and nothing has been done! I wish there were alternatives. I absolutely loathe the cattle-call type labs I now must go to for bloodwork. I was concerned about wasting my entire Saturday morning at SQ based on my experience at other locations and the reviews I saw here. Regardless, it had to be done. I am pleasantly surprised to say I had an 8:30 appointment and I was back in my car by 8:28! Place was clean and phlebotomist was courteous. This SQ is inside building A (west side) of the complex. It's small. It's very important that you (a) make an appointment, (b) bring your insurance information and your lab order (do not rely on your doctor to submit it directly), (c) bring up the email you are sent ahead of time with a code to enter into the kiosk for checking in, (d) and then sit down or choose the option to wait outside. The area is small so a mask isn't a bad idea. Bring a book. Yes, they have Wi-Fi. read more

I love posting great reviews. In this case I cannot in good conscience. I don't know who runs this office, but they b definitely should be replaced. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you wait like you were a walk in? It took me THREE times to actually get my blood draw done. I'd get there, the check in kiosk always broken and not working right. The office WAY over-booked appointments (terrible practice by the way) on top of dealing with many walk-ins. Every time the waiting room was overcrowded and the people understandably frustrated. The front office staff responded by being short tempered and excessively rude. Even making loud comments to eachother about the patients. Insanely unprofessional. So, because of my work schedule, I had to keep leaving and rescheduling. The third time was the charm....but only because I cleared my work schedule so I could miss half a day if necessary. And I did eat l wait nearly an hour and half WITH AN APPOINTMENT. The phlebotomist took 30 min to get the information from the dr, she couldn't read the request, and put it in the computer. You need a person doing the computer paperwork so the phlebotomist can draw the blood. You need to streamline the procedure. There was a full waiting room and she was doing paperwork. The manager told me there was a 30 minute wait so I gave them my number and they called 5 minutes later to say they were ready and because I wasn't in the front lobby fast enough she told me I had to recheck in. I had made an appointment for my mother to get her blood drawn before her PCP appointment next week. Our appointment was at 10:45 AM and we were running about 10 minutes behind due to my mother being disabled and taking longer to get out of the car. She had lost her balance in the parking lot, and I did not want to rush her, risking a fall. When we arrived at the door at 10:57 AM the door was already locked. I tried knocking a few times and nobody answered. The door finally opened as someone was leaving, and I tried to enter when an employee named Jenessa stopped me, said they were closed and slammed the door in my face. I was shocked and appalled by the way my mother and I were treated. I understand we were late and they were closing - totally our fault. I was just trying to ask if there were other locations in the area that were open later that I could take my mother to. The door opened again and Jenessa once again appeared to make sure I did not step foot in the door. The disrespect I was shown and the lack of help that was given just goes to show that the employees at this location do not care or empathize for their patients. They are clearly just there for the paycheck. I'm also not sure why they say they are open until 11am on Saturdays when they clearly aren't. This blood collection laboratory can only be described as this: A disorganized, inefficient slop house of a mess. Close it down!! My doctor called in the orders a week before my appointment. When I got to SQ, they said the order was there but the doctor sent it wrong so I had to call and have order faxed over. This delayed my appointment another 15 minutes and now I'm being ignored. Went in last Wednesday for a simple blood draw. Walked in, waited an appropriate amount of time, no worries there. The issue was with the actual blood draw. The phlebotomist insisted on drawing out of my left arm (fully sleeved tattoo) instead of the other arm ( no tattoos) cause she said I would need to "sign something after the draw". Red flag #1. She proceeded to poke and poke to finally get the 1 vile of blood needed. By the time I was in the car there was a huge lump of swelling at draw site and continued to get bigger for the next 2 hrs. Over the past few days the swelling has gone down and turned into a huge bruise. I am in a good amount of pain and have lost a lot of my strength in my left arm! I always choose this place because the staff are so good at drawing blood without pain, and never miss my veins. However, the company remove the staffs from the front desk and cut their staffs the service could have been faster. The machine is so picky and very inconvenient. It won't admit early comers to log in, it won't let me check-in. I need to tell the staff to check me in since the machine is not accepting it (if you will find them) no staff at the front desk at all. They have less staff I only see 2 staffs, so, my appointment now is late for 30 minutes. Before they used to accept more walk-ins, and when I came 30 minutes early as soon as I stepped in in just 5 minutes they called me immediately, but now it is too slow and late in a half hour. One Stars because the place switched to a machine as a front desk it won't let me check-in, and not enough staffs to make the service fast. read more

I self-ordered some tests that needed to be done and this was one of the places that was open on Presidents day. The location is located in a building with different practices. This location is on the ground floor. I would suggest parking in the back of the building as there is a door that is literally a short walk from the suite this location is. I made sure to make an appointment cause it was a Monday and a holiday so I knew the place would be crowded. Surprisingly it wasn't when I went in around 1:30. I was a bit late to my appointment and was still able to check-in just fine. I waited for about 20 minutes and I was called back by the Phlebotomist who was very fun to talk to. The whole blood drawing process took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Mondays and Fridays are the busiest so I would plan accordingly and make an appointment before you arrive. read more

This review is not about this particular location but about Sonora quest billing. My complaint is that I was rebilled 2 years later for 2 different appointments. Both surprise bills came in 2020 for 2018 appointments which I paid for back in 2018! I spent hours on the phone with Sonoraquest and my health insurance provider. Both kept blaming the other and I could never get either of them to agree on who was responsible since Sonoraquest is the one I had to repay the bill to I will blame them. How do they think its right to upcharge someone, 2 years later for a bill thats already paid. It's reprehensible. read more

i went to go get my blood drawn, and i never got the name of the person who took my blood, but he was a little on the bigger side, wore glasses, and hide some slightly darker skin. but he made it sound like he was so good, which calmed me down because i am very afraid of needles. he had the needle in my arm for a full 60 seconds trying to find the vein. in those 60 seconds, he was moving the needle around in my arm, poking muscles, and i was on the verge of tears, when he yelled at me to stop. i got my blood drawn on tuesday. it is now saturday and i still have a huge bruise on my left arm, i can't straighten my arm, i can't lift things with my arm, and whenever i try to straighten my arm, i loose complete feeling from my elbow crease up to my thumb. read more

Absolutely the worst lab. They have lost my stool samples and bloodwork. The Hispanic guy working in there fishes in my arms for a vein. If they don't lose my samples they store them incorrectly and they get ruined. Then they call me on the phone to say it's my fault. This place is a joke. If you don't want to have all your arms fished in and samples lost. Go somewhere else. It's horrible never going back. Just dropped off a sample and they set it in a bin on the table and not in the freezer where it's supposed to go. Horrible customer service! Rude and mean to patients. When I asked the guy to stop fishing in my arm and try a different spot he got all pissed off but he was moving that needle everywhere in my arm. I'm bruised and sore now. Staff was kind and courteous. I came in to get some routine blood work done for my endocrinologist at about 2:30 in the afternoon and signed right in and was seen right away. I waited less than 5 minutes!!! The technician was super sweet and didn't have any difficulty drawing my blood. One tiny little poke and as pleasant as getting blood drawn could be. Zero complaints! Highly recommend this location and especially if you come on a weekday afternoon like I did. Just a heads up that I did hear that they do take appointments. Also, was informed that Saturday's are absolutely crazy busy so if you have to come on a Saturday I would recommend saving yourself the time and booking an appointment ahead of time. Be sure to enter through the double doors then go down the hall (it's located on the first floor). Be sure to not enter from the unmarked door on the west side of the building since that entry is for staff only. read more
