He also was willing to make changes to the obituary and was always timely and cheerful about doing so despite our inability to get things correct. When we were finally able to have our service, Keith provided us a detailed step-by-step outline and to our surprise worked to set up the Honor Guard Ceremony. It was so profound for all in attendance at the celebration, I don't think there was a dry eye in the place. Keith Rosa always kept us abreast of every stage in the process. From death certificates and notifications, Social Security, County Clerk and more, it was so worth the price to have a one-point-of-contact for this difficult time in our family's life. Inside, the cottage rooms were comfy and clean. The kitchen was great and had all the cookware, utensils and tea bags needed. Outside was otherworldly. The Biblical Garden walk, the lake view, the fruit trees and flower beds were all captivating. I can truly say that this place has given me one of the most tranquil experiences I've had. When we called Tanner, he met us at the cemetery the next day and we arranged to go to his shop the following day to look at his work and place our order. We ordered a headstone, bench and marker for our daughter to be placed in our newly purchased family plot. We felt the quoted price was fair and reasonable. In fact, our items were completed in a few weeks and Tanner invited us to come up the shop to see the finished products. Needless to say, they were exactly what we wanted!! We further discussed the curb/wall that we wanted due to the hilly nature of the cemetery. Tanner was very honest with us when he explained that his current workload would not allow him to complete that work by the timeline needed to bury our daughter's cremains on her birthday. We appreciated the referral he gave us for another contractor. Unfortunately, the quote we received was much more than we could afford, so we decided to tackle the project ourselves. Over the course of the next 2 1/2 months, we spoke with Tanner in person and via email SEVERAL times and he was always kind, supportive and helpful. Since my husband and I were working at the cemetery almost every day, we saw Tanner and his crew a few times. They came over to see what we had accomplished, gave suggestions and told us that we were doing great job (much needed encouragement since we had never done anything like it before). When we talked with them about our daughter, it seemed that they genuinely cared about her and the loss our family had experienced. It was if they were old friends, sharing in our grief. As our daughter's birthday approached, Tanner and his team delivered our items, installed them and wished us well. It was a comfort to see such caring people who truly love what they do. The high standard they have for their workmanship is impeccable, their job is physically demanding and difficult and kudos to them for being a resource for people during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
