I wish I had a good experience so that I can write something positive. However, my experience as of today's date has been poor. The front desk people are super nice. The rest no bueno! After the consultation I thought I was gonna see the doctor so the doctor can tell me what can be done. Normally when anyone goes to see a doctor you see the staff 1st then the MD. Not at Sonobello you only see the consultantyrying to sell you a dream. I asked questions at my consultation to the consultant got the answers which I thought were correct come to find out I received misleading information. They say, you have to pay $500 non refundable fee in order to secure a spot for surgery. I came in for Pre-op had to leave and come back. I asked the same questions to the medical staff doing the Pre-op and got different answers the total opposite of what was initially said. The day of the surgery the staff said arrive @ 11 , I was in the waiting room for over an hour. I finally was brought back. When it was time for the cocktail the meds they give the clinical staff placed the cup on the counter and she kept asking did I give you the pills no ma'am. She walked out the room walked back several times for about 20 minutes of her looking for a pill she dropped or lost. I asked her if you find it are you planning on giving it to me? She said no and I said well can you just get another one? To be honest I don't know if she gave me the one she dropped or a new one cause I saw her looking on the floor when she walked out the room. I had the surgery I didn't feel a thing. The after math was the worse pain ever. Now I've been through double mastectomy so I can tolerate pain but this was on another level. I ended up passing out on the floor hitting my head. It wasnt good. They said they would call me but the next day I had to call them. I was told in 3 months you will start seeing results. Im about 2.5 weeks from the 3 month mark and I don't see any results. I haven't seen the MD since the surgery. My stomach still hurts, I look like Im 5 months pregnant and my stomach is hard/lumpy. The massage table whatever its called doesn't work. I had to pay to see a med spa for a lymphatic massage and I couldn't finish it because of the pain. The faja they gave me has no support whatsoever. I had spend more money to get a faja with support and I was told by the owner of the faja store it looks like you didn't even do surgery because I look pregnant. She stated had "they provided a faja with support you wouldn't be so swollen." Had they done the right thing I wouldn't be so messed up now. I feel as though this place preys on people's low self-esteem and insecurities. I feel worse about myself now then I did before. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY @ SONOBELLO. The company is misleading sales practices and lack to provide any customer service. I went and was told I had a very low BMI (only 2 points higher than being rejected because so low) I'm 5 for and weight 135..i have a small pudge I wanted to get rid of from a C section over 20 plus years ago..and I still walked out with a quote for $10,700. They said after lipo I HAD to have a tummy tuck because of the fat I would lose I would have loose skin, then paying for anthesiology, and post office visits. They offered a $500 discount if I booked then and there and was and to pay without financing. I was also extremely disappointed because the consult was NOT with a doctor or even a registered nurse.. I asked if I could speak with the plastic surgeon and they say you can only talk to them at pre-op! By far best decision I've could've ever made. I'm loving my results of the trisculpt 360 lipo. It was a bit expensive but I know to pay for quality not quantity. I hate to give a bad review to such a kind doctor, but I feel compelled to warn others after over a year of nerve pain, ugly scars, and disfiguring bulging scar tissue that makes me look like I have worms or an alien pregnancy. Frankly, I liked looking in the mirror better before my surgery. I feel ugly and more like I have to find clothes to hide my disfiguration than I did to hide my fat. I look disgusting. Although I purchased the guarantee in order to fix these problems, the nurse Sydney blamed me for the bad results. Even though she had told me it would be OK to go down to 12 hours a day of compression garments, since sleeping in them was almost intolerable due to my nerve pain and damage, she blamed me for the bad results, and asked that I sign a satisfaction form that I refused to sign. The last time I visited the clinic, I felt shamed and humiliated. Although it's my fault for having an eating disorder, I list all hope of feeling beautiful, and I've regained 25 pounds. Most of this new weight went to my thighs and back so it is somewhat true that the fat never grows back. So, well, it's true that my stomach and waist are slightly more slim, I have huge thighs and a saggy back that look gross, and put me up in pants. $7000 and a year and two months later, I could never be more dissatisfied, or disappointed in myself for making such a life altering poor decision. read more

I can't say enough about my experiences with this office. The first time I was going to use them for treatment I was made to wait at their office over an hour for my appointment. Then they cancelled my initial pre op appointment multiple times due to the doctor's schedules. Whenever I would call to discuss the procedure initially, I had a very difficult time getting anyone who was knowledgeable about the process on the phone. I cancelled my surgery once because they wouldn't let me use my care credit (due to a discounted rate). The second time I received a quote for services in their office this summer I was told I would get a certain rate and that I would be emailed the quote the same day as my consultation. I have called their office over 15 times since my consultation in mid July to get the quote. The staff has no knowledge of who I had my consultation with and the person they always say will return my call (by the end of the day) never does. I have been put on hold multiple times by their office for over a half hour. I finally got ahold of someone to send me a quote yesterday and it was for $2000 more than we discussed in the consultation and they won't change the price! read more

This place is so unorganized and unprofessional. Out of the 3 Venus appointments Ive been to , my appointments for 2 of them were not on the schedule. I literally speak to someone and they give me an appointment and then don't put me in. So, my boyfriend was told to be at Sono Bello at 1230 for a 230 procedure. We spent the night in Atl so that we would not be rushed and arrived in their parking garage at 1210. He called at 1225 and said we were here and they said someone would be right out to get him. The receptionist called back at 1255 and said they had not forgotten him but it would be 5 more min. At 120, he called back and asked if we could at least use the restroom which they did let us in one at a time. We went back to our car and the nurse finally came and got him about 130. She told me I would be kept updated. I asked if his procedure would be delayed since he was late going back. She said she didn't know but again, I would be kept updated. Here I sit in the garage at 5:49 with no update. I called and asked what was going and that no one had updated me. The receptionist put me on hold and and finally came back to say he was in surgery now. I am a Director of Surgical Services and this is awful to not let family members or loved ones know what's going on. This is supposed to be an upscale office taking a lot of cash from people and the least they could do is pick up a phone. read more

I had "laser lipo" last October. Just FYI, there is no type of anesthesia. You will receive one Xanax immediately prior to the procedure. At the beginning of the procedure you will be injected with many, many lidocaine injections; with gradually longer and longer needles until entire area is somewhat numb. The procedure is still painful (to the point of crying) and I have a very high pain threshold. It would have been worth it if the procedure was effective. I still to this day have horrible, hard masses all over my abdomen even after massaging the area. I never received any instructions on the massage procedure. I am completely disfigured. I had my procedure in February 2019 and today I went in to have a spot looked at by the surgeon (Dr.Moody). She basically told me that it was just extra skin and nothing to worry about. I know it's not just that and that some of it is the fat that they didn't get. But she said that the board or some crap wouldn't approve me to do a revision for such a small amount. On 1/23/2022, I reached out to Sono Bello to have a cosmetic procedure done. I talked to Carrie Coker, a consultant at Sono Bello. When I completed the paperwork, Ms. Coker assigned a NON-BOARD Certified Plastic Surgeon (meaning that the doctor is not listed on abplasticsurgery.org) to perform a mini tummy tuck and smart lipo, although this doctor is certified as a Head and Neck Surgeon. I requested a plastic surgeon to perform my procedure. Ms. Coker admantly resisted my request and became combative and I have not discovered why she did, and it is because THIS COMPANY IS LYING WHEN THEY STATE THEY HAVE HIGHLY BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEONS. These doctors are usually certified in another area, or they are certified as a medical professional, and then via years of experience start performing cosmetic surgery, and they self proclaim themselves as PLASTIC SURGEONS, when they are not and this deceives customers like me to purchase their service thinking they would get a plastic surgeon to perform their surgery when in actuality, the doctors are not plastic surgeons. This company sites lists all over their website that they have hundreds of board certified plastic surgeons and they have failed to produce 1 to me,despite my repeated requests for a plastic surgeon. They continue to assign doctors who are not certified by American Board of Plastic Surgery, and thus their advertising is misleading and fraudulent, and the staff encourages this deceit among customers. read more

Once again, and this is my own opinion, this place is the worst place for getting liposuction. I already placed a review of my horrible experience, and wish I had read the other negative reviews before I went for my appointment. They cancelled my appointment a few hours before my procedure due to a lab being .4 above a cut off (see my previous review). Now it's been a week and I am having to fight for my refund. They said they send a reversal and gave me a transaction number, but seems funny to me my bank has no record of these reversals after a week! Again my opinion, but it makes me wonder if they don't have they money to refund me. I am placing a complaint BBB in the AM. Please don't fall for their ads, find a different place. read more

Unfortunately I did not listen to the negative reviews when I should have. The claims about the employees luring you in with niceness is true (everyone was very pleasant to speak with up to the procedure), but what I was told during my consultation was a lie. Everything that was supposed to be removed was not as I had a few areas worked on. The follow up communication is non existent unfortunately especially for post op which I find terrible. I still have fat that was supposed to be removed in my abdomen, lower belly & bra role area. I paid over 7k & I was very unpleased that my results were no where near visible and I have hard skin since I was not informed of needing post massages afterwards either. The garments given do not fit people of color as I eventually had to buy & have my own customized since the ones provided were cutting off circulation to my legs. I went in a week later and spoke to a nurse about it & she even told me these aren't for women of color and had to cut one up for me to barely fit into. I now have 3 garnets from you all that don't fit in different sizes. If I'm paying for a service and post op care I expect things to fit properly as that's included in the payment. My doctor was very knowledgeable & nice but I'm starting to see the common thing here is you guys not removing all of the fat & causing folks to go through the financial & physical pain again...that's just criminal. I find it unbelievable after putting that type of stress on my body that there are no visible changes from since before & now 7 months after surgery. I am not one to sit around, this is me working out more & changing my diet. I honestly feel robbed & lied to. Especially since when showed pictures from my consultation and told this is what I can expect are false, I still look the same when I walked in as I do now. The only difference is now I have incision scars all over my body. Completely Unhappy! My surgery was performed on April 4th 2015, I am very disappointed in the results. I had upper, lower and flanks done. I work out minimum 3 times a week for years, and the stomach area was not improving which is why I paid $6,000 to have smart Lipo at Sono Bello. I feel like they purposely do not take out enough so they can get you to pay another $3k to finish the job. I wish I could give a negative rating but one is as low as this will allow me to go. I had the worst experience with Sonobello Atlanta and have thought long and hard about whether to even review their service b/c I really just want to be over them. In November 2017, I was scheduled for three rounds of lipo (was doing head to toe). Sahar (I believe is her name) was very attentive and helpful when she wanted my money but became a ghost after the botched job. Some of the experiences I had are listed below and explain why I would NEVER recommend Sonobello to anyone: 1) I specifically asked what I could expect (in terms of pain or issues) after the procedure. I was told (by Sahar) that I would be a little sore but could resume normal activities within a day or two. 2) On the morning of the procedure (which they repeatedly told me to arrive by 5:30 am and they didn't open for another hour - which left me sitting on the floor outside their office ... waiting) 3) After giving me the medication to put me to sleep, the nurse gave me a bunch of papers to sign to indicate that they decided to change the order of the procedures and that instead of doing the body parts to which we previously agreed, they thought it best to do other parts. I can't tell you what the change was b/c I never received copies (even though I asked in a follow-up visit) of the documents I signed. But who gives a patient paperwork to sign after medicating them anyway? 4) Within a day or so of the procedure, I felt like my muscles were knotting up all around my midsection (painful). In tears, I repeatedly contacted Sonobello (Sahar ... again) ... she had the doctor call me (it was the day after Thanksgiving day but he called and offered to write a prescription for muscle relaxers. I had some and took them - no help). For days, I continued to call, in tears, about the pain. 5) During my first follow-up appointment, I explained what was going on with me. The nurse (best employee of Sonobello - sorry, can't remember her name) told me that it was completely normal. Why am I hearing this for the first time, I questioned. I told her about my conversations with Sahar and she went and got her. Sahar's initial response was, "I didn't say anything b/c it doesn't happen to everyone." WTH?! Then, she later said that I could have done my own research. No words. 6) I spoke to their practice administrator b/c when I continued to call, Sahar would put me on hold, then hang up, then refuse my calls. I explained this to the administrator who was very apologetic but said, "Sahar isn't a medical professional. You should have asked your doctor about that." WTH?! Sahar never suggested that she wasn't qualified to answer questions. Just the opposite - she answered without so much as a blink. And, when I was with the doctor she had come into the room and contradicted something he said, and he changed and went along with her - so why would I not listen to Sahar. Who knew how INCOMPETENT she was better than them? 7) The back and forth with Sonobello representatives lasted from days after the procedure (in November) where I clearly said I would NOT be doing the remaining procedures and I wanted my money back (to which Sahar said, "No problem") but it took from November to late January or early February to get my refund and then I had to go through their administrator for that and I only got back the portion of the procedures which weren't done. And, since they changed what was done (after I was medicated) the "new" procedure clearly cost more than what I agreed to before the procedure. 8) There is very little change to my stomach even though I still wear these darn wraps. AND ... clearly, he did not remove all of the fat b/c there is one pocket above my naval that is clearly a fat pocket. So much for charging me for upper and lower abs. I could go on and on about the poor service that I received. I will simply say - don't waste your money. Sonobello staff repeatedly told me that I was an exception - I am not buying it. There service is horrible and the work they did - horrible. What a waste of money. I would have had more success (peace of mind) literally flushing the thousands of dollars down the toilet. Ugh. I did come for the free consultation and filled up pages and pages of medical history and forms to find out 3 weeks later when I come back to my Doctors apoitment they did not have any of my paperwork in file anymore . Even after working with one of the consultants over emails for those 3 weeks they still for some reason throwed away all my forms ? Them after filling up again and having to pay $200 4 days early to get a consultation and my name on the schedule ( because for some reason they cannot hold an apoitment with no payment , what I totally understand ) the doctor simply did not show at the apoitment . After waiting on the waiting room for 49 minutes And having to fill up forms all over again they tell me they have to re-schedule me because it's against the company policy to do anything without me having to see a doctor . On top of me having to wait they disrecpected me as a client ( well I'm not a Client anymore because aparently the doctor did not think my 8k quote for a surgery was enough for him to show up) or they couldn't give me a call before making me drive there and wait for almost an hour for them to tell me : I'm sorry the doctor is not here can we re-schedule? I Let me start by saying i've had two experiences. The first was my stomach the after a few weeks of waiting to speak to the doctor. I had my back area done. I would say my first experience was great out side of the results and follow up. I'm 3 months in and still suffering with my stomach. Swollen and in pain. My second was the back which I screamed and cried during the entire procedure. I asked to stop and was ignored. the manager even later admitted that she heard me. A male nurse dressed me alone after. My boyfriend was there waiting on me the entire time. He was told to wait. I complained to the manager who blew off the entire thing by ordering a replacement garment that was needed. Which that was a flop. The first one was too large and the other two tore in the same place. Now the latest one I had to call the company due to tearing in a different place. At the end of the day, driving from Michigan to Georgia to go to a place who not only took my money and threw me in a meat grinder. Was not worth my time and a waste of money. I had my procedure done and spent 6k even though I am average size, athletic build, THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY FOR THE RESULTS! Then they have the nerve to charge another 3k for treatment after the laser lipo surgery! I ate right and exercise and my tummy and sides are still flabby and my sides are still sore! Go to Miami and stay out of ATL! They will rip you off! My husband is pissed and so am I! read more

This visit was by far the last straw for me and I will not be returning to Sono Bello again. I tell everyone to do their research before deciding on something so life changing. The friend that referred me did review the doctors but not this facility. When I arrived on 8/24/19, I was late because of a detour and had trouble finding my way(I live 5 1/2 hours away). I called to let them know why I was late. When I arrived there was one employee and one other person that presented just in front of me. I was there for the Venus Legacy introduction only which, I thought, was a treatment that was included and a part of the process. Katuria(the technician) told me this was only to introduce this and that it was needed to achieve the final results that I am looking for. It lasted all of 5 minutes and she only applied it to my stomach and sides. I had 4 areas done upper/lower stomach, bra roll, and waist. I told her I still massage everyday but still have areas that are hard. She told me unless I have the VL, those hard areas could stay there for years. I told her that this needed to he disclosed in the beginning so people would know that there is an added expense to achieve expected results so they can decide BEFOREHAND whether they want to proceed. She tells me all about the different people who come for this treatment even without the procedures. I have not spent $13,000 dollars only to have to spend another $2500 (she said I would need 8 treatments to reach desired results). She goes as far to say that "People come up with it ($2500) some kind of way". Really!!! I'm not coming up with another dime to Sono Bello because it seems they are clearly all about making a sell. Dr Bedford, I suppose, with her terrible mannerism, tried to warn me. I don't know if the liposuction was minimal or what, but I still have a considerable amount of flab. The Venus Legacy needs to be introduced AND emphasized during the consultation. I am not one to complain and I'm a Registered Nurse. I could not work for a place like Sono Bello. Not all but it lacks in Professionalism and Customer Service skills. If I was not a good candidate for the procedures I had, it should have been said in the consultation. read more
