I went to Mike Majmundar with a family member where they received a rhinoplasty. Like many other stories, he did a poor job leaving her with permanent issues. I had to watch as she threw up multiple times in the basement of his building right after the surgery for the amount of blood that went into her stomach during the surgery. His office coordinator (who also had a botched rhinoplasty) was extremely rude to us afterwards when we questioned the results, but "wouldn't let him fix it." After a negative review years ago, he had an attorney reach out with a cease and desist and threatened to sue us. I'm sure others remove their reviews (as I did) as a result. Being older and richer, sue away if you want. People need to know our experience. read more

TL;DR: Shady, Lack of transparency, Withholds important information from patients. Would give zero stars if I could - I stand by and have evidence for everything I say. Met with Dr. M for a virtual consultation. To be honest, he seems to be a decent practitioner. He was thorough in his explanations. Also answered all the questions. If this didn't turn out the way it was, I can imagine maybe having a pleasant experience working with him. Now to the experiences that gave me heartburn: Dr. M suggested I come in for an in-person consultation so I booked something with their admin staff. This requires a deposit which I was told I would lose if 1) I cancel super last minute or 2) I decide not to go through with any procedure after the consultation. Again, I am okay with this. Soon after, I figure I have to cancel this due to a personal scheduling conflict. Since I don't know when I would reschedule, I want my deposit back (especially since they don't give you any invoice or receipt for the deposit). The admin staff apologizes for the miscommunication when I made the deposit and insist this is now non-refundable. She said this is part of the many policies they had patients sign before the virtual consultation. Here is the thing - this practice withholds copies of ALL the contracts you have signed. I am now realizing it was a grave mistake for me to trust them this way, but I could only trust the admin's word for it when she told me I wouldn't lose the deposit because I have NO ACCESS to the relevant policies! In fact, when they sent over a quote to conclude the virtual consultation, on the quote they outline the policy that canceling in-office procedures within 48 hours will forfeit one's deposit. Do yourself a favor and just choose another practice. This one will give you a headache, anger wrinkles, etc before you even get anything done. This from the bottom of my heart. read more

I don't typically leave reviews but felt the need to. The facility is clean and beautiful, there's no doubt. I came in with concerns about my under eye lines. Dr. M listened and I felt like he did take his time. I ended up having the fibroblast done for my under eye. He also did the upper lid which the anesthetic did not work for. I was screaming and crying. The pain was absolutely intolerable; worse than birthing an 11 lb baby vaginally without an epidural. I drove home with a ridiculously swollen and hot face which comes with the territory. I did not receive any type of after care directions or paperwork so I was left to searching google with my swollen face at home while crying in pain. When I went back I did inform him I never received any paperwork and while he didn't apologize, he did say that I should have received a whole bag with instructions. The follow up appointment was ok but he asked if I had before pics and I didn't. I felt like the office should have done that which made me feel like he wasn't too interested in my case anyway. At the follow up he then explained I needed some fillers and what not so I obliged. The total cost of all this was almost $4,000. I literally could have had a brand new face for all this. My second follow up he was then telling me how we could start working on my lips and jaw outline and other things that I was never concerned about until he said it. Needless to say, I started going to a dermatologist who I love so much and has really educated me on procedures and has never pushed me to do anything she or I did not think was necessary. read more

I went in to have Botox in my forehead. The doctor recommended I have dysport over Botox. He also recommended I get it in my crows feet. I paid $575 for the service. That night I ended up with a very bad black eye. The black eye lasted over a week. I waited the two weeks and saw a minimal difference in my wrinkles. I did not see very good results so, I reached out to get the amount of dysport used. I was told only 40 units were used in all three areas. Had it been Botox that would be normal but dysport requires 3x the unit used. I am very unhappy with the services I received here. I did not even reach out to have it corrected due to fear of another purple eye. I essentially paid $575 for a black eye and felt I had been scammed. read more

Came in here recently for a "lip flip" procedure and while Dr. Mike was pleasant to me and outlined the whole procedure, the cost of the procedure is way higher than other places. Because I had driven so far to get here and knew I would possibly be out of my deposit, I decided to give this a go. No complications afterward but I wanted to see if his rates are comparable to other physicians around Atlanta. I called a few offices and they all charged around $150-200, Dr.Mike's office charges this same procedure at $375. Had 470cc saline which ruptured decided to go bigger of silicone and after getting the ok from dr Klein as long as we didn't go over 600cc the day of the surgery he shows me a 445 and 450cc silicone implant when I say these are smaller than what I currently have of saline he said don't worry these will give you the size you are looking for. I doubted but because I didn't know if there was a difference in numbers for silicone and saline I trusted in what he was telling me... WRONG! I had a consultation for a rhinoplasty with Dr. Majmundar a few weeks ago. During my consult, I mentioned my interest in going the nonsurgical rhinoplasty route since the surgical route was so permanent and I needed time to make such a drastic decision. I mentioned that I had visited another surgeon a couple years prior, and didn't have the best experience. Radiesse was used in that session, and the next day or so the filler reabsorbed back in my body. Dr. Majmundar said that it was probably because enough wasn't used or it could have been the technique and type of filler used. He said that Restalyne should last about a year, but I'd need to come back in 4 months for a touch up. After I received a quote of $1400 for the non surgical rhinoplasty, I decided to go ahead and get it done in the same session. He used a vial of Restalyne. After it was done, I could see a noticeable bridge from the front and side profile, and was very pleased. Guess what happened the next day? The same thing that happened at my other appointment. I was in such disbelief, but wanted to wait an additional day before contacting the office because my nose was a little swollen. I took pictures and sent to his staff the next day, and voiced my concerns. I really appreciated that they set up an appointment for me to see Dr. Majmundar, and tried to calm my concerns. After Dr. Majmundar examined my nose, he did agree that most of the filler had reabsorbed in my body, and he was pretty amazed that it happened so fast. We couldn't really figure out why that was the case, but he mentioned maybe having a fast metabolism that contributed to it. He also said he felt like trying another vial would pretty much be pointless. I wholeheartedly agreed. Prior to choosing to come here, I read the review from the 19 y/o that seemed to have a similar issue of it not 'taking.' I wish I had been more mindful of that review because now I'm out $1400 for something that I can't see, and that didn't last a day. It's very disappointing. I was told that I could get a $500 credit to put towards the surgical rhinoplasty. What good does that do when I decided to go this route if I'm ready to go that permanent route? That's a very big decision. $500 off $8k for a surgery that isn't happening anything soon is really nothing. I requested a credit back to my account, but was told that since the vial was used that wasn't possible. I'm very disappointed in this entire situation, and although the staff is really nice I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay losing money if your fillers reabsorb. read more
