There were questions as to whether or not I would be able to use a prosthetic. I had a nurse tell me about a great reconstructive surgeon that she remembered BT she would have to see if she could find hm. She found him and contacted him to see me in the hospital. After a few minutes and a thorough examination, Dr Yalif told me what he could do. He never candy coated the procedure and explained the risks. Everything he told me happened exactly as he said it would. His revision to my residual limb was so good that I was able to be fitted for a prosthetic which other professionals said would be a hard case. He cared for me for several months post op till he was satisfied I was on my way. I found Dr Yalif to be concerned for me as a person not just a patient. Dr Yalif is a very caring man with an awesome bedside manner! He personally helped me in many areas having to do with the business aspects of my injuries and refered me to the proper physicians when his care was over. It was such a great visit because before I saw Dr. Fishman, I had a very detailed meeting with Bilal who reviewed all of my questions, cost and what to expect if I choose to proceed with the procedure. I also noticed they were advertising that they offer Semaglutide so asked some pretty extensive questions and turns out, I learned so much and shared all that knowledge with my friends. Upon meeting Dr. Fishman, she was super professional, receptive to all my additional questions and gave me a very reasonable assessment to my original question/concern. I also noticed from their Instagram that they offer dermaplaning services for $150 so recommended my friend Mabri J. who received her treatment on the spot plus received a facial. She actually went back and purchased some skincare products that were recommended to her. Everything about Aviva Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics was wonderful. I appreciated Bilal's expertise and Dr. Fishman's care and kindness. She definitely knows her stuff! I would recommend this plastic surgeon's office for anyone looking for procedures Dr. Fishman specializes in. 5 stars!!

Crazy to think that I'd need plastic surgery, but I wanted to restore my left eye to its original…read moreshape after a severe eye infection I had last year. I have to preface that I naturally have a crease or a double eyelid-fold in my eyes unlike some Asians who have monolids. After the eye infection, my left eye had two creases and kind of a triple-fold that tended to make me look sleepy and in pictures if I smiled, it looked like one eye was smaller than the other. Even though most people didn't notice it, it's something I was really self-conscious about. I waited a whole year to see if my eye would go back to its original shape, but it didn't, so I sought help. My dermatologist's physician assistant actually recommended that I see Dr Jenny Chang who's in the same building. Making an appointment was easy and a consultation is free, which I understand is pretty typical for most cosmetic surgery offices. Nevertheless, I want to point that I could schedule a consultation sooner than than the Emory Aesthetic Center which is basically Emory University's branded office for cosmetic surgery. Dr Chang's office is very Hollywood glam, clean and comfortable. Even the consultation room is different because it was a couch, two chairs and a coffee chair to make you feel at ease. What I liked most about Dr Chang is that she was able to answer my questions, explain how I got two creases in my eye, acknowledging the fact that Asians' eyes are different from Caucasians' and then drawing me a diagram of how the procedure called a blepharoplasty would go. I was comfortable enough with her knowledge and bedside manner that I scheduled my surgery the following week since I had even talked to an ocuplastic surgeon about the procedure. Surgery day was easy. The procedure took less than 2 hours and they even had a nurse call to check on me after 2 days. I had stitches removed in less than a week, and the healing went well that my eye is back to normal and it matches my original eye (I'm comparing it to my right eye). I'd highly recommend Dr Chang and her team. I don't think surgery could have gone any better.

I want to share my experience at The Maloney Center in Atlanta, because what happened to me wasn't…read morejust about aesthetics -- it was about integrity, accountability, and power. I went to Dr. Maloney for an unrelated procedure. While there, he convicted my to get eye filler. He then proceeded to inject my lips. The results were uneven, harsh, and disfiguring. My lips were overfilled, distorted, and asymmetrical. I ended up having to pay out of pocket to have the filler dissolved by another provider -- something that never should've been necessary and then reinjected - costing thousands. When I reached out to The Maloney Center, I wasn't rude or threatening. I simply asked for a refund. Dr. Maloney first offered me $800 -- a fraction of what I'd paid -- and then, when I refused, he offered to refund the full amount only if I signed a "Settlement and Release Agreement." That agreement was deeply concerning. It was not a simple refund. It was a gag order -- a contract designed to silence me from ever sharing what happened, even truthfully. It required me to release him from all liability, promise never to speak about my experience, and even agree not to post honest reviews. As someone who coaches trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery, I recognize this dynamic instantly: when a powerful person or institution makes a mistake, instead of accountability, they try to control the narrative. They want silence. They want compliance. They want to protect their image, not the person they harmed. This isn't about revenge. It's about awareness. Patients deserve to know when a doctor mishandles a procedure -- and consumers have the right to speak the truth about their experiences without being bullied or silenced.

I called them myself and was able to get someone in less than 5 minutes. It was literally one of the prompts when you call. 2 - I requested them to fill out my medical leave paperwork for my job. It took them 3 weeks to complete the form. The form is only one page long. It should not have taken that long. 3 - I made several attempts to get my final bill and a copy of my records, but to no avail. It has been 7 months now and no contact. Other issues I experienced: Wait times are atrocious & they have no respect for your time. When it came time for my final consultation what should have been a hour appointment ended up being a three hour appointment. And the worse part is that - I did not even get to voice my concerns or ask questions, as the doctor somehow disappeared and never came back! Even so after all the communications and all the long appointment times to this office, my original medical issue was not resolved. Very disappointing! I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
