Mind you, I have a high tolerance for pain, but you'll also be given a nerve block that lasts 72 hours--pretty sure it lasted longer for me. I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that I was regretting my life choices for the first few weeks after surgery because I was so miserable with swelling--not pain, swelling. Swell hell is real, and you will definitely deal with it after lipo. Also, sleeping upright was a nightmare because I could never get comfortable, plus, I was waking up with a headache every morning, but I attribute that to poor neck alignment. Once I got over these humps, it wasn't smooth sailing, but it was better. Once I was more mobile and able to do more things for myself, healing really progressed. I'm now six weeks post op, and I'm about 85% better. And while I'm still swollen, I am snatched, honey! My waist wasn't this small before I had children! So, I say all this to say: if you're thinking of having any work done, run, don't walk to Dr. Okoro and crew! They are knowledgeable and skilled, and you'll get the body you've dreamed of in no time. Upon arrival, I was immediately taken on a 20-minute unsolicited tour of the entire clinic by a staff member who spent the entire time preaching about the practice's positive reviews--it felt like a high-pressure sales pitch rather than a medical consultation. I did not request or need this tour. After the tour, I was placed in a waiting room before being taken for before photos of my lips, even though no procedure was agreed upon or performed. I then waited another 10 minutes before Dr. Lee entered the room. The consultation itself lasted only 10 minutes, during which Dr. Lee mentioned that he was unsure whether he would have images to share of his surgical lip lift work due to not having patient's consent. I understand, but ultimately this is a red flag for transparency. It should have been communicated by the office prior to paying the consultation fee that he had no images of previous work regarding this surgery that he could share. He also expressed concerns about scarring on someone as young as me (24) and stated that he doesn't rush into surgery, which left me confused about the purpose of the consultation in the first place. At the end of the visit, a woman at the front desk provided me with an estimate of over $3,000 for the procedure. Despite this, there was no follow-up from the office regarding images, next steps, or scheduling. Instead, I received seven emails asking me to leave a review--an obvious attempt to manipulate ratings rather than address patient concerns. When I called two weeks later to request a refund for the $150 consultation fee, the staff member argued with me about the amount of time I spent in the office, including the unnecessary tour and photo session. This behavior was unprofessional and dismissive. She noted that consultation fees are non-refundable. The entire experience left me with a very negative impression. The lack of transparency, the aggressive sales tactics, and the complete disregard for follow-up care make me question the integrity of this practice. Do not waste your time or money here.

I am a male that suffered with gynecomastia since I was 12 years old, got the surgery to remove it at 26, and it has been 16 months post surgery. I was in great shape and saved money my whole life in preparation to get this surgery. Dr. Jeffords assured me that my gynecomastia was very mild (which did not reflect in price) . He said that this surgery will be a "homerun" and will look "perfect." Post surgery I immediately noticed that the stitches on my left nipple were not as precise as the stitches on my right nipple. I didn't think anything of it until that left nipple incision continued bleeding well after the right incision stopped. I sent Jeffords an email with pictures of my concern and he said it was fine. Today, I am left with noticeable scars under my nipples. Not as bad on my right side, but extremely noticeable on my left side (just as I feared due to the poor stitching). I have major crater deformity on the left and mild on the right when I flex my chest or raise my arms. My whole life I just wanted to feel confident with my shirt off but I have only traded one insecurity for a new one thanks to Keith Jeffords. It is such a shame because I've been working out for 14 years now and have a great physique, but was hindered by gynecomastia, and now hindered by botched gynecomastia surgery. I followed all his instructions and did everything right, but he suggested I did something wrong along the line. When I expressed to him that I am really upset about the results, he responded by saying that working out too early could have caused the scar to widen (I did not workout until he told me to), he said taking steroids could affect the healing process (I have never taken steroids), and he also said that body dysmorphia could be playing a role in why I'm unhappy about the results... He listed any reason why things went wrong except owning up to his poor performance and taking responsibility. Then when I asked him what my options were it was either pay more money for him to laser my scars, or pay even more money to cut me back open. He should have been able to get the "homerun" and "perfect" results the first time with all his "experience." After the way he handled that situation, I never went back. He never asked me to come back to document my final results, I WONDER WHY. He may have been a good surgeon at one point in his life, but those days are long behind him. I would much rather have lived with my gynecomastia then have gotten it removed by Keith Jeffords. Do not get surgery with Jeffords. I would not be surprised he tries to get this review deleted, or if he responds trying to blame me for my poor results. Good luck to the person considering Jeffords for their surgery, you're going to need it.

I've been wanting to get a breast lift and augmentation done for a long time. Finally decided to have it done since I'm getting married. Came in for a consultation everything was great. I told the nurse that I'm allergic to tapes/adhesive so we did a tape test. The tape she gave me to test for a week was great no reaction. I told Dr. Colgrove my goal was to have my breast symmetric, have more of an upper pole, more volume and cleavage. I also brought in my goal picture. One of my breast is larger than the other, so we decided to go with an anchor lift and reduction on the side that was larger. The other breast I had a lollipop lift to position the nipple and to make both nipples a little bit smaller. I understand that they will not be twins. I just need them to look even and lifted with cleavage. I also paid to have the mesh(internal bra) put in so they would not bottom out or sag later on. I chose to go with 380cc Motiva round. He did 380cc on both side. Fast forward to surgery day. My surgery was on July 10th 2025. Everything was fine during surgery. When I came home I noticed that they had used a different tape on me, and not the one that we tested on my skin. Had an appointment to come back for post op the next day. The nurse removed the tape to change it and noticed that I had blisters and hives all over my breast. The Dr. did not come in the room to look at it or let me know what he did during surgery post op. He stood at the door and looked in and say come back in a few days and prescribed me steroids. I also told him I'm having pain in my armpit where he did the lift he said maybe because of the way my arm was positioned during surgery. So I didn't think anything of it since he's the Dr. and he probably knows best. Couple days later I came in he told me to stop the steroid and just use aquaphor and took off all the tapes. I think he finally realized that it was a tape allergy and not my body rejecting the implant. I'm not sure why they did the tape test on me and use a different tape during surgery. Obviously, they didn't put it in my chart or communicate with each other about it. So beware if you have a tape allergies. I'm almost 3 months post op and my skin is just now finally healing from the tape reaction. I noticed that the implant on my right breast where I had a lift and reduction kept moving into my armpit and slides up when I lay down and to the side. I addressed my concerns to him. I told him I think my pocket is too big so it's causing my implant to move around. He told me no it's because I'm dominant on my right hand so I need to continue to wear my surgical bra and no lifting or exercising. Did exactly what he told me to do. Came back a few weeks later reminded him again that my breast implant is still moving around and is very uncomfortable because I constantly would have to keep pushing it in, which is not right. He looked at it and said it still needs to drop and told me to stretch them and that to come back in a few weeks and left the room. I told the nurse I'm not sure why it's moving like that and she told me the pocket might be too big and asked me if I got the mesh. I said yes I did and I'm not sure why it's doing this if there's a mesh in there that's supposed to hold everything together. She told me to just remind him again when I come in a month and she told me that he said to keep doing my stretches. A month went by, did my stretches like he told me to do. Came in today reminded him again about the implant moving around and he said implants are supposed to move around and blamed it on me being right hand dominant again. He told me to not stretch on my right side and just do the left side. I said to him you told me to stretch both side the last time I was here and he said because it was tight the last time. Mind you, my right breast pocket was never tight! I'm not sure why my concerns were not charted and that he needed to be reminded every time. Everyone I know that got their breast aug done are right handed and they never had this issue. All he told me was we can't do anything now. I would have to wait until everything heals. Besides the breast pocket being too big, One breast is still bigger than the other side so it's pulling down. One nipple is larger than the other one and no cleavage because they are uneven and going to the side. Least to say, I always leave his office feeling disappointed because my concerns were just brushed off and never addressed.

It is for women navigating reconstruction after cancer, especially younger women trying to make careful, long-term decisions about their bodies during an already overwhelming time. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent mastectomy on September 3, 2025. I chose this surgeon intentionally because I did not want breast implants. From the beginning, I was clear that I wanted reconstruction using my own tissue. My goal was not to recreate what I had before, but to move forward in a way that felt livable in my body. Smaller, lighter, natural. I would have rather gone flat than have implants. Based on those conversations, I agreed to a staged reconstruction plan. I underwent mastectomy with placement of a tissue expander with the understanding that DIEP flap reconstruction would follow in about three months. My mastectomy went well. My pathology showed the best possible outcome and I had no healing complications. There was no medical reason to delay reconstruction. I continued through recovery believing the plan was moving forward. I completed a CT scan specifically for DIEP surgery. At my final appointment, I was told surgery would be scheduled and to expect a call from the nurse. After receiving no call as promised, I followed up. The following week, I received a voicemail stating that DIEP reconstruction was not covered by my insurance and implants were suggested instead. I contacted my insurer directly. They informed me no prior authorization had ever been submitted on my behalf. The procedure had never been reviewed, which also meant I had no path to appeal. I reached out to the office multiple times asking them to submit the authorization or confirm in writing that they would not, so I could move forward elsewhere. I received no response. As a result, I have been left for months in the expander stage of reconstruction, which is supposed to be temporary. It is painful, physically limiting, and not something you can simply adjust to. I cannot sleep on my side. I have ongoing discomfort and shoulder pain. This has gone on far beyond what I agreed to. Eventually I had no choice but to leave and find a new surgeon, restarting reconstruction mid-process. That should not happen in the middle of cancer care. This was not a medical complication. It was a breakdown in communication and follow-through that left me without access to the reconstruction I had planned and consented to. It also reflects a failure to respect clearly stated patient goals. I filed complaints with my insurance, my state senators, and the Insurance Commissioner. The Commissioner's office investigated and determined that the barrier to my care was the responsibility of my provider, not my insurer. Today the medical board informed me that my complaint falls outside their jurisdiction and referred me to the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. We are talking about cancer treatment and my body btw, yes, the body I live in and am always aware of. Women are not lifeless objects that have no thoughts or feelings. My cancer reconstruction should not be in the same category as a microwave oven but that is where becoming a client of Peachtree Plastic Surgery has led me. If you are a breast cancer patient considering reconstruction, do not assume that statements about what is or is not covered are final. Confirm that a prior authorization has actually been submitted and reviewed. Get everything in writing. I would not recommend this surgeon if your goal is autologous reconstruction or if you do not want implants. I am sharing this as a warning so that other women do not find themselves in the same position.

She took me to my room and explained everything thoroughly. The room was VERY CLEAN. The B/P cuffs are new with every patient, measuring taps new with every patient, gowns wrapped new in plastic. Thick cleansing cloths used pre surgery. I've was started first stick. Everything g flowed like a fine tuned watch. Anesthia had a Dr as well as An Nurse Anestatist and Two anesthesia assistants that came and introduced themselves. Dr. Ma came in and fully discussed the entire procedure. On first meeting her I knew she was the one for me. Kind, gentle, intelligent, thorough and more then capable. Her entire team... VERY thorough and professional. I was initially nervous but with their professionalism and genuine caring I felt at total ease. 11:00 I was wheeled into OR. I was given "Happy juice" so I didn't have a care in the world!! Next thing I knew 11:30 I was fully dressed in my room. Absolutely no pain. I was wheeled to my husband's car and off we went. It is now 8 hours since my breast implants were removed. I have NO pain!!! They ordered me pain med but so I don't need it. So arrived at 0930. In surgery 1100 out of surgery 1136 left for home 1230!!!! Amazing. What a team....

Ultimately, after extensive research and multiple consultations with several surgeons, I chose another surgeon. This was not because I believed Dr. Stong was incapable or less skilled. In fact, I believe both surgeons are highly talented and would have likely provided excellent results. What changed my perspective was what happened after I made my decision. Following my consultation, I first received calls from his office staff. Then I began receiving text messages from Dr. Stong's personal cell phone questioning my choice and expressing surprise that I had selected another surgeon. The messages included comments suggesting I would be "getting half the results," that I was falling for marketing schemes, criticism of the other surgeon's training, and repeated insistence that he was the better choice. Unfortunately, the communication did not stop there. I received text messages after midnight, phone calls, and additional text messages that continued over the course of three days after I had already made my decision clear and was no longer responding. What began as an unexpected follow-up ultimately became persistent enough that I felt I had no choice but to block further communication and write this review. As a patient, I found this uncomfortable, disappointing, inappropriate, and ultimately very unsettling. Patients invest significant time, emotion, money, and trust when choosing a surgeon. We research, compare, ask questions, review outcomes, and make the best decision we can for ourselves. Once that decision has been made, it should be respected.
