The food was good and they even gave extra pasta included in the dishes that had pasta. I had the fish batter and they were flexible and gave me veggies instead of potatoes. The service was super friendly and can totally recommend it.

There is a dance floor at the bottom level that is really fun. They also have a pool but it is not included in your stay. You have to pay. We got dressed to go swimming and we were about to pay with euros when the lady said they only accept Swiss francs. We didn't have any since we just barely got to Switzerland. We asked if she would exchange our euros for Swiss francs. She wouldn't. She wasn't that friendly. It was very disappointing.

Furniture was very country- swiss and comfortable. Wifi was not good. Food is mediocre, but there is a nice bar area outside. The swimming pool was drained when we were there, but looked nice, and there are tennis courts (clay). We were here with an EF tour and high school students. We were touring Lucerne. Not much surrounds this hotel- but again, it's quite rustic and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive from Lucerne (though I wasn't driving those narrow mountain roads, either.)
