I love Sonic and grew up in its hometown of Oklahoma City. So I have been to at least a hundred different stores. This location was fine. My order was delivered in a timely fashion and it was correct. The service was good too. What dismays me is how they have totally cut back on stalls with menus. At our city's location they typically have gone total drive through. That's not Sonic. I noticed this location also had nearly eliminated many of the same but they didn't just tell me to drive through which I appreciated. I ordered 2 jr cheeseburger deluxe sandwiches and a large groovy fry from Sonic . When I got home I went to eat my food and realized they gave me 2 incorrect sandwiches. The deluxe comes with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. The gave me a double cheeseburger with mustard. When I called the person I spoke to told me they'd replace it, but I had to bring the food back and come with the receipt. The receipt is acceptable, returning food that was made incorrectly is WILD! They shouldn't take back anything that a customer has touched.. I don't want to eat the sandwiches anyway because it's not what I ordered,but the fact that gas is high and time is valued what does the customer get for being inconvenienced? I have to come back, and bring you the food. No free anything is offered, a soda or something just to take accountability. They always blame it on the owners policy. Which I agree it's not the employees policy. It's 2025 the policy should be changed. The customer having to be inconvenienced for your mistake is not right. They didn't apologize or anything. I will say the girl on the phone was very nice about it, but she had to go speak with someone else to get approval to even fix it, and I had to tell them when I'd be back... It's just weird. The fact that they're taking back food makes me question what they're even doing with it? Will it be resold or what's going on? I'm not trying to be petty, it's just the process to fix their own mistake is confusing. I took the burger back and they remade them for me. I'll probably avoid Sonic in the future. They also charge for each sauce. So you can order a meal and not expect 1 sauce for free with your food? Smh. They're very strict about it. A cup of ice is $1.30. They nickel and dime at this establishment. I understand paying for the cup, but $1.30 is ridiculous. The fries I ordered were $4 for a large, the container wasn't even full which you'd expect it to be for that price. When I went back i ordered a cherry limeade and they gave me a cup that wasn't even filled to the top. Not to mention the drink was disgusting. It didn't taste like any cherries were in it, just sour limes and seltzer. The whole meal was not pleasant. I'm sure I sound like a petty patty, but I just want what I paid for.. Fill your fries and drinks, please!!. Besides their ice cream which is good, their smash burgers, and a few other things on the menu, save yourself some money and go elsewhere. Because customer service is lacking, no one at the window actually wants to work there. But I guess they're doing the best they can. You can't hear them barely half the time on the speaker. Let me start with this: I love Sonic. Been a fan for years. This review is about *this* location. Good: Order was accurate and quick. Tots were hot. Drink was cold. Needs improvement: 1. The carports are too small to use! Walk up or drive-thru only. 2. The patio ordering board wasn't working properly. The display had a "blue screen of death." When I alerted an employee, I was told it still works, just push the red button. No concern from the employee. In this day, cyber security is a real concern. I'm not putting my credit card anywhere near a glitched system. Take some pride in presenting a customer-facing interface in working order. Overall, not the best Sonic experience. read more

Nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done. Mozzarella sticks are always my fave and they are never stingy when it comes to asking for sauce. I typically ask for extra mayo on my sandwich & they always provide (I can usually check because there will be mayo on the top and bottom). Crispy tender sandwich was a little too crispy than what I'm use to, but it was okay. Drive-thru wait wasn't long at this time of night, but they have a pull up area for when orders are taking long than expected. They have a lot of "happy hour" deals on their food throughout the week, so get your schedule out! Employee was kind. I ordered the Bacon cheeseburger toaster and it was not very good. I've never had one before, so maybe the hamburger always tastes kind of yucky, but the bread did not look toasted to me at all. It was like they just took it out of the bag. The hamburger did not taste like real hamburger. The mozzarella cheesesticks and strawberry shortcake slushy were good but for $15...the sandwich ruined the meal. I will not return here when looking for a meal. read more

Usually I love sonic. They have amazing milkshakes and are usually fast. This location however was horribly slow. I must have waited ahead of the window after paying and receiving my napkins for about twenty more minutes upon ordering. The staff was friendly but did not keep distance and was unusually touchy when I recieved my food. The Cinnamon bites were very good taste wise, but the honey barbecue chicken bites were not fresh and the sauce was chunky and gritty, probably had been sitting out awhile since it was the end of the night. I've been here before and have had pretty good service. I guess it's like they say...People are more apt to talk when something goes bad. That is why I am writing this review today....I came here with my daughter and a friend for dinner and received the worst service possible. We ordered our food and waited in the car for the order to come out. The girl who brought it out practically threw it at me without even speaking! She never asked if I needed ketchup or anything else for that matter. She never said thank you and had the worst attitude ever! Even when I asked as she skated away for ketchup, she acted like it was the biggest bother ever. I finally pushed the button and asked for the manager! This place is lucky for one star and it's really only because it's the lowest rating I could give. I am a huge fan of Sonic (although I am not a big fan of fast food), and the closes one to Springfield is like 40 miles away. So, since I was in Virginia Beach and they seem to be all over, I decided to stop at this location as I drove past it around four times. I had no issues with my food. I am only giving it three stars because it was just average... it was A-Ok! Would I go back? Sure. Was it the best location? No. I ordered a sandwich and poppers and received my sandwich and poppers, properly made, and very yummy. I got the kids some food and they were very happy as well. My daughter really wanted a strawberry real ice-cream slush or something and she loved it. We didn't wait too long and we had a car in front of us so that was a plus as well. read more

This location is very unprofessional. I've had to make a complaint before about customer service. Visited tonight and they verified my order before telling me to pull around to the window. When the cashier hands me my drink she gave me a medium and I ordered a large which again was confirmed before I pulled around. She took the drink back and she dumped the medium into a large cup and filled it up with ice cream. My order was a large root beer float with easy ice cream. When I got home and I realized my order was incorrect I went back up to the store and let them know that I needed my drink remade. I asked to speak to a manager and that manager refused to talk to me. I asked again the manager still refused to talk to me. I asked can they at least give me something additional because I had to waste my time and gas to come back up there due to them incorrectly making my order and that's not my fault that my order was made incorrect. When I asked for the number to corporate they gave me a local number so I had to look it up and make a complaint concerning tonight's experience. I don't think I'll be visiting for a while. Ok, maybe without the pregnancy hormones a 4-star would work but see if you understand. I have celiac disease. I can't eat gluten (wheat, rye, or barley) without getting very sick. That means no conventional breads, buns, rolls, or anything made with flour. I am also pregnant which means food cravings at strange times. So at 9pm on Thanksgiving when I told my husband I just *had* to have a cheeseburger he went looking for somewhere open that could help. He found Sonic. He explained that I wanted a cheeseburger with no bun and explained why. The folks working not only made a (possibly marriage-saving) suggestion to make it a double since I was pregnant they took the time to pay attention. They put all the components for my burger in separate containers so when my husband brought it home I could reheat it and put it together on a gluten-free bun. This sonic generally sucks. I have been here one time that everything went well. Every other time, the order is wrong in some way, either made very poorly or wrong size, sauce, etc. Its right by my work so I keep coming back in hopes that it will improve because overall, sonic is a great place that I have never had issue with until this particular location. Today's order was a large cheese tot. It came in the large cheese tot packaging, but didn't come close to filling it and barely had any cheese. When you pay $3.50 for fried potatoes and American cheese, there should be a substantial amount of both. Plus, I have had it from other locations and know what it should be. Last week I came and ordered 4 items and every single one was wrong in some way. I will say they have always been nice and it's always been fast, so if you like surprises that differ from your order, this could be your place.
