Once you push the red button, they don't respond. And horrible customer service. The employee who served us was very rude by giving us an attitude about making a burger with just meat and cheese only. Like it's that hard to make. And forgot our ranch on purpose when we asked. I realize its hard to staff these fast food places, but my God in heaven. If it takes AN HOUR to get 3 drinks and some cheesesticks delivered, and this is consistent type of time limits, then y'all may want to rethink the business model. An hour, I'm not kidding. Aug 18, 2022 This location along with the other location in Terrell disable the order ahead option for the Sonic app whenever they choose to for example when there is a sale going on like the 50 Cent corndog day. This is how they keep you from getting special along with the happy hour prices on the drinks also. This is very tricky and not very customer friendly. If they wanna play like this then I will take my business elsewhere. The ones in my location where I live do not play games like this. Shame on the owners and managers for doing this to their loyal customers. May 13, 2024 The last few times or more that I have came here to just get something as simple as a Cherry Limeade they have not put my cherry in my drink. Is this so hard to do? I asked once the lady said oh I do not think they include a cherry anymore. What that is part of the drink. If you add more cherry or lime they will charge you an addition 50. per lime or cherry! I ordered on the app a RT 44 Dr. Pepper with sweet cream, REAL cherries, and vanilla. The first one I got had NO sweet cream, I took it back and asked for a new one, the second one I got had cherry SYRUP but not real cherries (the syrup gives me a headache), so I took it back, the third one (which I payed for again) had no sweet cream and cherry syrup again. I just left at that point, I don't feel like I should have paid for 2 drinks that are wrong. read more

I've been to this Sonic multiple times, as I live close by. I've never had an issue with the day crew or the night crew, until this evening. I pulled into a stall around 9:40pm (they close at 10pm). I hit the 'red button' and waited. I was playing on my phone, so not really paying attention to the time. The guy across from me caught my eye when he got out of his car and went up to the door and knocked. He was upset that no one had take his order. I noticed the time and it had been 10 minutes. He got there before me - he ended up leaving. I hit the button again for shats and giggles and no answer. Point blank, whoever was closing stopped serving early. Poor customer service. Horrible customer service. Went last night (12-27-18) for the $1.99 Chili cheese coneys. Got there about 9:30. Ordered three and were told by Brenda that they were out of chili. That was no big deal but what happened next was an outrage. The other woman facing Brenda brayed laughter right at the mic, "ha ha HA!", making SURE we heard her laugh because we couldn't get our order. I've NEVER had a server laugh, so happy to disappoint a customer. Mind you, I could clearly see everyone in their little kitchen. It was blatantly obvious she was laughing at us. This is the best Sonic we have ever been to! My wife or I are here at least daily. Heidi and Lauren are the morning car hops and they are both fantastic and are like family. Devin is one of the afternoon car hops and she also is fantastic. We come here primarily for drinks but eat here fairly often. Sonic food is pretty much the same anywhere but they seem to care here and that makes a difference and the food is pretty good. We travel twice a year buying antiques and stop at many other Sonics and none compare to this location. Thanks for the great service ladies! read more

Always a bit pokey here. Fries are rarely that fresh. It's 'ok' - and the drinks are good, but I expect fresh fries at a Sonic. This location has an air of urban industrial ghetto for some reason. There are a lot of car repair shops around and it's just bleak. They should really freshen up the place with potted flowers and flowering plants - a fresh coat of paint where it's needed and a shot of interferon for the employees. They also seem depressed by their surroundings. Most Sonic employees at other locations I've been are so peppy and friendly and quick to serve. This location reminds me of that episode of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" where Billy Mumy plays a child with telekinetic and mind-reading abilities that allow him to do some pretty terrifying things. He's apparently destroyed the surrounding towns and has his family and neighbors trapped where they can't get out. The folks here act a bit like that - like there's no hope for escape and they're just muddling through to make it another day. In a word - meh. read more

This has got to be the worst sonic around. If you press the "red" button be prepared to wait five minutes before anyone answers because I waited so long I drove off. The ice cream machine or whatever it is you can see through the right side of the window looks disgusting on the backside with tape and rust holding it together, I can only imagine what the front of the machine looks like. They never have enough workers, they are always running out of food, and the MAIN PROBLEM?? They take forever to get your food out!!!!!! If you want sonic go down the street to the one off of 34, never have any issues always quick and efficient plus the people are just friendlier in general. read more

Food came out fast but tasted burnt. I'm guessing the fry grease​ needs to be changed. Had to buzz 3 separate times and ask for marinara sauce. 3 stars... It takes FOREVER to get your order sent out to you! I ordered the caramel brownie blast.... There was nothing caramel about it! It was vanilla ice cream and a few brownies.
