Diana got Coconut in a vanilla waffle bowl with chocolate syrup and my Mom-in-law got Almond White chocolate half scoop. Rave review from all of us! The place is clean, the service is good and the chicken-fried steak is so good it ought to be a sin to eat it. The cream gravy tastes like somebody's grandma got up early and made it from scratch, not like it came out of a McCormick seasoning packet. Now, I will confess to a personal mishap. We were sitting by the ice cream freezer, and while I was studying all those frozen treasures like I was picking a winning lottery ticket, I somehow managed to decorate my right shoulder with cream gravy. That's not Joni's fault, that's what happens when a guy can'keep his eye off the ice cream before I'm finished with the meal. I finally chose a Rocky Road and pistachio combination for dessert, and it sent me home happier than a kid with a new video game.

They offer samples which is nice because I've seen flavors in the grocery store but hadn't tried them. Realizing it was store ice cream was a little of a letdown, especially when we got the bill. We got three single scoop cones with one topping each and our total was $23 without the tip. If they had an experience type of environment that price would be worth it but there is no indoor seating. When we went it was about 95 degrees so sitting outside wasn't an option. I wish they had a cute set up inside, some seating inside. Then it would be a whole experience and the price tag would be worth it. They do have lots of wild ice cream towers but they started at around $13 so that could have gotten pricey. This has great potential but needs to bulk up the overall experience. I'd love a fun place to take visiting friends but this isn't it.
