Foot long coney dogs. Bogo for free
Kim C.

We like using the mobile app, it has some pretty good deals. So far we've had the food long coney dogs and grilled cheeseburgers, twisted pretzels and half price cheeseburgers. Today we're tried their drink specials I got a large strawberry fruit slushie and a dr pepper both half price right now. Also got a corn dog too. Had to wait 20 minutes to get our order. Only one person in a stall and one in the drive thru. So don't know what the hold up was. Had to press the button on the stall to ask how long it will be. My corn dog was ok. I don't like their honey mustard, it Gooey and has a slight horse radish flavor. I prefer regular old mustard. When I got my large drink they gave me a small straw not the appropriate size for a large drink. It didn't reach the bottom of the drink and fell through the lid into the drink. I had to drive to Chevron to the correct size straw. The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes we've had to wait over a half hour and Sometimes we've waited only 5 minutes.

Cherry??

The service was terrible i wanted to get a cherry with lime slush and they gave me a brown watered down drink and it tasted like watered down cocacola . Not cherry at all. They refused to remake my drink because the manager working tonight 20th march at 7. Said not to. I asked if they could remake a cherry limeade instead and they said no and remade the same brown drink. After my wife had to go argue with them. Its like they were being difficult on purpose. Worst service and quality of product ive ever had. 1/10 they get a 1 cuz the kid who brought us our drinks was apologetic and seemed sincere

Chili Cheese Tots Fries Bacon Peppercorn Ranch Grilled Cheese Burger
Jasmine T.

It was my first time trying Sonic. My boyfriend and I were driving up and decided to stop by. When we parked in one of the stalls, we hit the button to order but after 5 min the screen reset itself to the main page. We decided to just go through the Drive Thru instead and quickly received our order. As for the food, we ordered: Bacon Peppercorn Ranch Grilled Cheese Burger - This was a new item and we wanted to try because we like ranch. The sauce was super light I wish they gave some on the side. They do put a good amount of cheese & bacon. It wasn't anything amazing but it was as expected. Chili Cheese Tots - I did enjoy these. The tots were pretty soggy but tasted good with the chili cheese. I would order this again. Fries - These were pretty basic. I'd just stick to the tots.

Foods good and slushys always on point but they forgot my chilli cheese tots pretty bummed out about that

twig that was found in bacon toaster sandwich

One visit was too many. Pros: They got our order correct. They let us into the bathroom when we asked. The shakes and soda were fine, as were the tater tots and popcorn chicken. Cons: The drive in stalls have non-working interfaces. We found one that looked like it worked but it timed out and no service, so we switched to the drive thru after waiting at least 10 minutes being ignored while the drive thru line was moving.. The person in our group who got the hot dog said it was the worst he has ever had - tasted like bologna. One person got the bacon toaster and he found a twig inside the sandwich. So much for a quick stop for fast food. We won't be coming back.

The drink with a great, different cup! =)

Unfortunately, I didn't like it! Sonic is a perfect name, it's like space (intergalactic) food. My 13 year old daughter likes it though.

The fried green beans are awesome. Stoked they had a cheese flat bread for the 5yo. Burgers were delicious. Nothing was super greasy it was very well balanced. Its not "bar food". Its a legit restaurant. I had the street tacos which were flavorful and I preferred the carne asada for once because its all meat no fat. Lots of chicken wing flavor options too so my girls were happy. Calisqueeze on tap topped my meal! The only down was that the restrooms were more local bar vibe restrooms but it is what it is. Its a local bar too! Thanks for a great meal on our road trip.

We were very impressed as 15 years ago the downtown was not a place to visit. Now it is. We like these "neighborhood" kind of restaurants/bars. Like the French Brassiere concept, but not as fancy, Dubber's is a place to sit, drink, chat with friends, get a bite to eat and pay a reasonable price for the occasion. Decent menu. We were driving so no booze. Old Town Burger ($15) with onion rings for $2. Wife did fried green beans (!) at $12 and we had iced tea and sodas at $3.75 each. Lots of photos and memorabilia on the walls and there were a lot of sports items, so owners must be into some teams. Very clean. Friendly wait staff, we had Karen K., and service was prompt and food accurate. An excellent stopping point if driving through the Salinas, the Garden Bowl of the Country. Only an hour south of San Fransisco.

My son ordered the Patty Melt with a side of Caesar salad. I ordered the Tuna Melt with a size of onion rings. Both sides were considered upgrades and were an extra cost. My son really liked the Patty Melt. He gave it a 4 out of 5. The sourdough bread is thick, but soft on the inside. The burger patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. He also liked the grilled onions and sauce that was a thousand island type sauce - they all complement the melt very well. He also really enjoyed the Caesar salad. I liked the Tuna Melt. The tuna salad had good flavor and there was a hearty amount of tuna in the sandwich. I was able to change the cheese to Swiss cheese, which gave the sandwich a softer cheese flavor. The bread was also a winner in my book. The onion rings were great. They are fresh made and very crispy - with a side of ranch, it was a very tasty side dish that went so well with my tuna melt. Overall, we had a good experience for lunch. We had very good food. Our waiter Erik was courteous, attentive, and fast. We will definitely be back and will plan to save room for some of those delicious looking pies.

Oh, Habit Burger - the kiosk ordering is a major fail. So it's the emphasis on reducing human…read moreinteraction. Road travel can be challenging enough, and being treated like only a number isn't satisfying. Dear Hubby and I stopped by on a Friday evening during the long drive from Southern California to the Bay Area. He was hungrier than I was, and I struggled to find something on the lighter side that was still tasty. I had decided on the albacore tuna sandwich and splitting a side of onion rings with DH. Then the drama with the kiosk ordering system began. Onion rings weren't coming up as a choice at all. The kitchen staff (including whoever was suppose to be available to run the regular register in case someone wants to pay with cash or has questions) were all busy, busy doing their things. Their backs were to their customers, which became annoying and rude. I DID have questions, and the kiosk wasn't allowing me to order what I wanted to order. I ended up telling DH what I wanted and gave up to go to the car as I'd forgotten something in there. When I came back he was waiting to fill up our drink cups. He gave me the table number card and I found a table. He said that he did get to speak with a human after all after I'd gone outside. Surprise, surprise! When the food came, my sandwich, while tasty, was super sloppy with too much sauce. I had a hard time eating it without risking wearing part of the 'wich on my clothes. It was an unsatisfying experience on many levels. I don't blame this store, per se - I realize that it's a decision foist on them by management up the food chain. I've always respected the Habit Burger chain, but that feeling took a big hit with the fiasco at the Salinas location. I didn't feel welcome or appreciated. Removing the human connection is a big mistake for any business that requires building customer loyalty. Saving a few bucks on a real worker by installing an ordering kiosk that's not smart is not good business, in my humble opinion. I would not plan to return to this location, and will not have Habit as a top choice for dining out any time soon at other locations.
