I have been to and have ordered from this location multiple times. When I first moved here in 2016, this place was great. In the past 2 to 3 years, it has become terrible - for instance, a few months ago, I tried ordering onion rings but they didn't have anyone on staff to deep fry them. Don't have a lit sign advertising onion rings if you are not going to serve them. Many times over the past 3 years, I have gone in to order a shake or blast and have been told that the ice cream machine is broke. This is not a good representation for one of the only places around that serves shakes. Went for food the other day for my kiddos, never again. It was most possibly the worst quality food I've ever seen at a fast food place. The hot dog was discolored, looked very wrong. There was no way my son was going to eat that. The chicken sandwich was hard and smushed. The popcorn chicken was old and burnt. I spent $30 on absolute garbage. Pretty much a soft drink is all I will get. Every time over the years that we have gone here to get a shake or blast and it's has been after dinner, we have been told that the shake machine is down for cleaning. EVERY TIME (being after 6/630 but not after 8. ( INCLUDING PRE COVID, so that not an excuse) If you are open until 9? serve till 9. open till 10 serve till 10. You are supposed to be famous for desserts for goodness sakes! Pay someone to stay to clean the machine. However i suspect the closing shift takes it upon themselves, wants to get out quick, and the owner/GM doesn't have a clue. Today i got a cheese burger. I don't normally buy fast food burgers... Fabulous location for tasty food and friendly service! Surprised by some of these negative reviews, as that was NOT our experience at all. Ordering was prompt, accurate and food was out minutes later. We had two hungry toddlers and the kids meals with apple juice and tots were perfect! Cute little Batman spoon to go with it. Side not, Liz was super friendly! Wish I had cash to tip or that they left room on the Sonic check out for cards. She was funny, friendly, and full of energy. He was rude with his tone and proceeded to manipulate the problem into me. "I'm sorry you feel that way" is not an appropriate way to address your customers when there is an issue. Went to Sonic and had the worst experience ever. I was shocked, appalled and dismayed. My server Kayden was the problem. He was rude and immature. I don't think he likes it there. The food was late and when we asked him to check our order to make sure it was correct, he blew a fuse. I now know why the food comes out late. Every time a employee complains about someone or something the entire inside stops and listens and joins in the ballyhoo, stopping any progress from that point forward. I know that for a fact because I opened the door to give him a tip and saw the way the operate there. He yelled at me that he didn't want the tip and to get the (F) out our he would call the police. I could not believe the way we went from zero to ten in attitude. It's no wonder the wait times are unreasonable, they don't care about the customer, it's all about them. I have noticed that the managers are always changing there. I understand it's hard to get good help but when the help you have is cussing at the customer,(no joke, he used the F bomb on me several times) your basically saying you do not want us to come back. 6/26/21 late night After a long flight from Philadelphia and a long ride on the shuttle back to Prescott. My family and I were famished and needed a bite. I rolled into Sonic at 10:45 where a young lady took our order. The place didn't close til 11 pm. There were a bunch of teens hanging out front which made it seem it wasn't closing any time soon. At 11:05 the staff started looking out at my family one staff member at a time through the window. Although the board stated my order was in the " kitchen being worked on." I noticed they kept looking at us and talking amongst them selves when all of a sudden they turned ALL the light out and started cleaning for the evening at 11:07. Not one mention of my order and never turned to look in my direction again. REALLY!! At 11:20 all the lights went out. My family was hungry and cranky after being up for 20 hrs. That was rude, unprofessional and downright unnecessary!! Why even take my order if you had no intention of fulfilling it?? And a complete waste of my time!! If this is the standard by which your customer service is measured, well I won't be coming back! Will never service another Sonic PERIOD!! Shame on you!!!! Because I've lived and worked right by this Sonic for years, I have visited this location a few hundred times. Literally. One thing has been extremely consistent. The car hops are personable and friendly. The place can get very busy at lunch and during their "Happy Hour." It they are full, wait times can be a little bit longer than a drive-thru fast foods. Otherwise, the speed is pretty good. I only had maybe 4 or 5 order mess ups in all those visits, which is very good. Service-wise I'll rate this location 5 STARS The problem I have with Sonic is that over the last couple of years they have raised their prices disproportionately more than other fast foods. They simply charge way too much for the quality of burger that they serve, and for the size of most of the food items I've tried. Their drink prices are about the highest to begin with. The multiple drink flavorings you can add and the combinations you can create has always made Sonic special, and made the drinks worth it. But now they now charge extra to add the flavor to their drinks. Their slushes, real ice cream floats, shakes, and Sundaes also set them apart, and fortunately they seem to be reasonably priced. Overall, we just don't go to Sonic for food these days. It's just not special enough--poor value for mediocre and unhealthy fare. We will stop in during afternoon's before 5PM for 1/2 price drinks or slushes, and late night for ice cream treats but that is about it. If they upped their food and value I'd go 4 STARS overall, but now they are just edging 3. read more

Asked if they had a grilled chicken patty that we could get 'protein style'. They only had shredded lettuce, so no. That's ok, but what we got was the chopped chicken patty and that's it!
