I called and spoke to the manager on duty, Margarita, and she didn't seem too apologetic to be honest. She just said sorry and that she would pass the information on to the general manager. She said she thinks it might have to do with the batter? She said they do fry separate....but ummmm, there is no way. It seems like it would have to do with the oil being over used with sweet items? My feedback to management- keep your sweet deep fryer completely separate from your savory/salty deep fryer. Sweet onion rings is not what we signed up for! So Sonic is still one of those old school fast food restaurants where you park your car and make your order and they bring the food out to you. As such, this location has no in-door dining; just a small outdoor dining area. What's extremely lame about Sonic is that all their new items and any deals they have going on are not on their menu at all. Since their menu is primarily physical and not digital, you don't get to see the full menu. For instance, I only knew of their new Sonic smasher burger through their website; it's not on their menu at all. I got a Sonic smasher combo which cost me $11.78. I was with two friends who got various items. Our entire bill for 3 was $39.10. One of the issues with their archaic design is that their equipment is not that good. The person taking our order kept constantly having ask us to repeat ourselves because she couldn't hear us despite that fact that we were yelling. Even when they came to bring our order, they had to take my card and go all the way back to the physical restaurant just to process my order. The sonic smasher was proasaic, lacking flavor, and sloppily made. The tater tots were not great and my cronies didn't find their meals appealing either. Genuinely one of the worst sonics I've ever been too. Burger was dripping with grease and my shake was terrible had 1 or 2 SMALL Reece's peanut butter cups. The customer service was absolutely terrible didn't seem like anyone wanted to be there. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

I ordered a hamburger - and all I said was please no cheese, everything else. Only thing that came was two buns and a burger, nothing else. Also ordered a cheeseburger - that came with two buns and a patty with cheese and nothing else. My other daughters 1 burger - they charged us for a meal and all we got was a burger ... I went to get food tonight. I ordered 2 burgers and a large mozzarella sticks. I got the wrong order. They took my original order and gave me the new order. I have never left a bad review for anyone. I asked if they have hot tea 3 times and was told yes. When she gave me my drink, it was iced tea. This was the WORST Sonic I have ever been to. For starters, the customer service was awful for so many reasons. No one cares if something goes wrong and the people who work there are completely lazy. Never did I think I would have multiple complaints about the same restaurant in one day. First, I ordered a burger and when I brought it home it was the wrong order. I brought it home to my boyfriend and he can't eat the order we were given so I ate it instead. I mean how hard is it to correctly bag an item? Please let delivery drivers purchase drinks!This review is not intended to reflect poorly on the restaurant itself but rather the policy of not allowing delivery drivers to order a drink for themselves. This is the only Sonic I have been to that denies delivery drivers the ability to purchase a drink when they pick up orders for customers. I do understand the importance of giving customers their food in a timely manner. This is why even food delivery services ask their drivers not to order meals for themselves while on deliveries.. However, It doesn't take that long to fill a soda cup. There's a point where the policy goes a little too far and goes against common sense. As a delivery driver, I often spend hours in my car. Any personal stops that I make, take away from time that I can be on the road working. Having the opportunity to be able to at least get a drink for myself while I'm on the road is a huge convenience. All I ask is that this location please reconsider that policy. Although companies like McDonald's even offer free drinks to drivers, I'm not even suggesting that. Just allow us to at least be able to purchase a drink. Who knows, if drivers are allowed to purchase drinks, it might even add to the revenue stream at Sonic even more. I know I have certainly purchased many drinks at different locations while working. Personally I have been a customer of Sonic for years, but I know this experience, and store policy, will affect my decision to do business at this particular location. Although Sonic may not consider us employees, since they are essentially outsourcing so I'm technically not even an employee who has any eligibility for benefits, but in the same sense I am still working and could be considered part of the face of the company. Although a driver, I am still representing Sonic anytime I am on a delivery for them. I highly doubt Sonic employees are not allowed to have drinks during their shift. Nothing but negative thoughts for this place. The worker Hannah has a snobby attitude when bringing out food, it's easy to understand when people are having a rough day but when someone try's to engage in conversation and you continue to act rude is not professional. On top of the poor costumer service we ordered ice creams and after a few bites it was obvious that the ice cream was tart tasting and sour. We called to let them know and the girl who answered proceeded to say, "we've been serving ice cream all day and haven't had any issues" in the most snobby voice. I explained that we weren't trying to bash but to just inform them that maybe they should look into their ice cream - maybe something was off.
