The family atmosphere and phenomenal food is why you will keep going there. Last night we had the chicken fried steak and club sandwich. (You could add a side salad that is large and probably better than you can get at any restaurant!). The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the mashed potatoes were to die for. Our bellies were full and our wallet was still intact. Head there regularly and you will find quality grub at great prices. I would also recommend the beignets even though I didn't try them. The table next to us kept ordering them and devouring them as fast as they could get them. Maybe next time I'll get to try them because they sure looked good.
