Everything was so delicious and surprisingly clean considering there was a little group of kids that left before we got in but the staff was quick to tidy up! They were super helpful and patient (these kids took forever to pick cookies!) haha Personally I could eat the strawberry crinkle everyday. Never heard of it before but it instantly reminded me of the strawberry shortcake ice cream you would get from the ice cream truck that drove through the neighborhood! So good! Yes I had a ratatouille moment with a cookie! We'll be back soon!

The Pac Man (ice cream flavored), Amaretto Freeze, and Wedding Cake are always my go-to flavors. The staff are consistently friendly, and the outdoor seating gives the place a fun, welcoming atmosphere. My only drawback is the pricing. For a small stuffed snowball with a little condensed milk on top, it came out to nearly $5, which feels a bit steep for New Iberia. If the prices were a little lower, I'd probably stop by much more often when I'm in town. That said, the quality is excellent, and it's still one of my favorite places to grab a snowball. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a sweet treat.

(they went cardless for a while). They have good menu variety and always have enough ice to juice ratio. My personal order is a medium yellow cake batter. I wouldn't recommend getting a stuffed snowball because it's just not enough ice cream to be worth the extra charge. They do have a drive through and service is always fast and the staff is always nice. It's more rustic looking and has a nice outdoor seating area that's covered with fans. Highly recommend if you're passing through!!!

I called and told them that there was whipped cream icing on the cake and I did not order that because I do not like whipped cream. They informed me that they changed from the old icing to the whipped one. I told them I was not informed that they use whipped icing now. She told me that they do not tell you they use the whipped icing. I then replied if I was told this then I would not have ordered the cake. I preceeded to asked if I can get a refund or another cake with the correct icing. The owner said that she could not refund my money or take the cake back because we had taken a slice from the cake. I informed her that how would I have known it was the wrong icing if I had not tried it. I told her that I would have even taken a store credit. The owner was rude and refused to do nothing. I will definitely not be back there again.

They will even grab you a fresh baked one out the back upon request. I stumbled on this hidden gem one day after a my last craving for a waffle cone was unfulfilled at a franchise frozen yogurt spot. I won't name any names, but I hadn't been to the unnamed commercial spot in over 20 years. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The waffle cone was stale and had a tinge of plastic taste. I literally thought I'd been poisoned. After looking up ice cream spots with good reviews, my daughter and I found Emmy's. It was not a disappointment at all. The ice cream flavors were limited but very premium. Although they don't make their own ice cream in-house, they get it from the best place I can think of ordering ice cream from - Wisconsin. They have a ton of really premium toppings for a great price too. Most are just $.50, with some of the nut toppings costing a dollar. My daughter tried their orange sorbet with gummy bears and the swear, they were the best gummy bears I've ever tried. I went straight for my go-to, pistachio almond. When I tell you it's stood up to some of the best Italian creamery pistachio I've had in my home town of New Orleans, I'm not exaggerating. Creamy, rich ice cream with an abundance of pistachio. All I needed was one scoop. So amazing and flavorful. Being skeptical after my last botched experience getting a waffle cone at a major franchise dessert spot, I decided to get my ice cream in their signature waffle cone. Oh. My. Goodness. It's like a confection by itself. Delicately buttery, perfectly sweet and super crispy. I hear they even make waffle cone nachos?! Aside from having great dessert, the staff is friendly and they have a nice little sitting area, complete with a soda-shop type bar to sit. It's not a question of if I'll be back, but if I'll be able to pass it up when I'm in the vicinity. Delicious!

Got home and realized they gave us fries instead of onion rings. A little disappointing, but thankfully the food itself made up for it. The shrimp and fish were both fried just right -- crispy, not greasy, and full of flavor. The homemade tartar sauce was the real standout. You can tell it's made in-house, and it paired great with everything. All in all, the food was solid even with the mix-up. We'll definitely be back, just maybe a little earlier next time.
