The smashburger was good. But the onion rings were the worst. No onion flavor and the breading was sweet tasting and maybe cornbread based. never tasted anything like it . Never again. read more

told me it was "store policy" that i was given a bag that had my correct order taped on it and the bag only had 3 corn dogs inside not even a single napkin read more

If I could give a 0 I would. All we came to Sonic for was 2 milkshakes and we'd be on our way. We pulled up to the drive through and waited to hear anyone on the speaker. After 3-ish minutes we hear someone say "I'll be right with you" so we waited... and waited... and waited. After almost 10 minutes and just saying "hello" we heard nothing, so we drove off. Everywhere else was about to close and truly, I wanted a shake. So we went to one of the stalls and pressed the button and heard back within the minute of a girl saying she'd be right with us, hoping it wasn't going to be the same issue, we waited again. Thank goodness she took our order within a minute and we were finally waiting for our order to come out. After 5 minutes our shakes came out and it felt like a miracle. Except it wasn't. One of our shakes was good, exactly what was ordered (Strawberry Cheesecake Cream Cooler). Our other one the (Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake) was the biggest disappointment. It was literally just vanilla ice cream with bits of peppermint on the top. It wasn't even blended, like come on. All in all, I would've gone to Chick-Fil-A for a peppermint shake, if it wasn't Sunday. read more

Ordered a drink wasn't the drink I wanted asked for the one I wanted same damn price guess what because of their fuck up I lost $5.90 if you want your food fucked up and robbed when it isn't right come here. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but today's experience at Sonic really left a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for ketchup when placing my order, and not only did I not receive any, but when I politely asked a staff member who walked by, she blatantly ignored me. I know she heard me and just kept walking. Like just pretended I didn't exist. If your team is going to treat customers like they're an inconvenience for asking for something as basic as a condiment, then at the very least there should be self-serve stations available. That way, customers don't have to feel like they're bothering your staff just to get what they already asked for. I get its fast food and no one cares, but like these people are getting paid and are just assholes for no reason. read more

Tolerable foods ... good options available to choose from. Fast and friendly service and fairly priced. I'm always pleased when my family and I come here for a snack or a drink. I would recommend to anyone. read more

1 star for service. Absolutely insane how rude they were when we ordered. They got it wrong multiple times and we politely corrected a few items but gave up when they blatantly sighed at us in a rude manner. Our Ocean Waters were clearly old Sprite and nothing else. I paid for a large and asked to get that when I initially received a medium. The woman ordering huffed at us and took the drink back, spilling some on the driver. Overall, horrible vibes. Food was pretty fire tho. Saved them fr. read more

Pressed the red button, waited 20 plus minutes and nobody ever took my order. So many people got out of the stalls and hopped in the drive thru line. I won't try again that's for sure. read more

Terrible. Pulled into a stall. Decided what I wanted, pressed the "order" button...female came on and said something super fast. I have no idea what she said. Asked her to repeat...no response. Got no service for several moments. Then decided to pull thru drive thru. Its a Monday Night at 8:45. 4 cars in line and then me.16 minutes later I get to ordering screen. Was greeted and told it would be several minutes before they got to me. Unbelievable. I wouldve went elsewhere but my friend in the hospital wanted this, sooooo...i stuck it out. Not by my own doing though!! read more

Closed at least 40 minutes early, we got there and all the lights were off and no workers were there.

Mobile order is never available, they always close early, and overall just terrible experience every time.

Food was not good! Tables and surroundings were very dirty! Very disappointed, my grandson chose Sonic because of the commercial with the "Blue Slushy" Hoping he never ask to go there again! Staff were nice and the only reason they get 2 ! read more

Absolutely awful service and horrible attitudes. The shake was more hot fudge than ice cream , ketchup on only half the hotdog, the buns were falling apart, and we waited over 15 minutes for anyone to even take our order. read more

We ordered with the online app to get our 1/2 wings. Love the taste of the boneless Asian chili wings. We ordered a limeade route 44. This location was really quick the last time we were here but this time I guess they had to cook the wings. We are glad there is a Sonic in Morgantown. read more

This Sonic is terrible. Shouldn't even have a star. My friend and I parked, presses the button, then waited almost a minute to be waited on. Finally, someone came on and asked for our order, then they said they'd get back to us. A few minutes later they came back on and when my friend ordered her food, the worker gave a rude response about needing us to give her a moment. Finally! We ordered our food and waited and waited ..... and waited until 20 min later our food was not served and two other cars that came after us had been. So I got out and asked the worker about our stall and she said she'd find out. We waited 10 more minutes, saw another car get served, and left. Totally ignored. Not returning to this sonic. read more

I have a family of 8. Every Tuesday I go to this Sonic and it's always the same. The Lady at the window degrades me for 1996 honda civic and tells me my car smells like diapers. I've had enough and will not be returning. read more

I've stopped at this Sonic location several times throughout the past few years and honestly it's always something with this place. There's either something wrong with the order or something completely missing. I stopped today to get 2 pretzels. I waited about 10 mins to place my order and about 10 minutes longer to actually get it. As I was pulling away, I realized that the cheese for those pretzels wasn't given to me. When I got home, I unwrapped the pretzels only to find that they were actually some egg wrap. I understand the wait time since the place is probably short staffed, but to not give customers what they paid for is unacceptable. Do better. read more

Sonic. Has the best burgers going by far! We always loved the IN & OUT BURGERS The best in LV, And CA, , until we came to Morgantown and tried a Sonic Burger, and they are pretty close! Same freshness, and juicy, great bun, just a little smaller and no secret sauce! Other than that super Close, and best burger going in Motown's fast food place's!!!! read more

Onion rings are disgusting! Tastes like funnel cake batter!!!! Just awful!!! Will never be back

i sat in the drive thru for almost 40 mins and all I got was a corn dog. The kid at the window was on his phone and workers running around trying to clean up to close. They turned the lights off at 10:00 and lost 6 people behind me that drove right over to McDonalds. The hours say open until 11:00. This has happened numerous times. Better get a hold of your workers people won't put up with this kind of business. read more

Waited in line for 20 minutes & when we got to the front of the line, every light went off. When I called he said they always do that and I should have looked up the hours. Class act of an establishment. Ill get my tots elsewhere read more

Used to be pretty good, recently they have gone downhill. I wasn't happy with the last couple of visits.

Sonic's Happy Hour from 2-4pm is awesome: I got 2 medium slushes for 90 CENTS each! This is a new Sonic Drive in, located right next to a McDonald's. All I have to say is, McDonald's has some tough competition. During Winter it's very cold and snowy in Morgantown. Who wants to actually have to get out of their car to grab food? Sonic's allows you to drive up into different booths and you both order and eat your food all in your car! You'll find the menu to your left and right and don't ever have to get out of your warm car. The cheeseburger itself wasn't anything to really rave about. An average cheeseburger at best and it was actually a bit on the cold side... the cheese wasn't melted either :( Their drinks and their sides are amazing on the other hand! I'm in love with the strawberry limeade. It's perfectly thirst quenching sweet and has little strawberry slices in it. I had their tater tots with chili cheese on top and mozzerella sticks. Delicious!! I love Sonics for just those reasons and cannot help but stop by a Sonics for a strawberry limeade. read more

Can't complain at all about this sonic other then the fact that they can regularly skier then many other fast food places and quite frankly all other sonic locations I've been to. Other then that they always get my order right and are very polite. So nice usually has great deals in certain nights of the week too! read more

I'm giving this a 4 star average. 3 stars for the food and 5 stars for the milkshakes. The food is ok, convenient and fairly priced. They have a good variety. I love their tater tots. I'm disappointed that they got rid of their tater tots. Breakfast is pretty good too. They have a great drink menu. Try the cherry limeade. My favorite are the milkshakes. 23 flavored to choose from. I think the best thing about this place is the variety they offer. It's different and interesting from every other fast food place. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Morgantown, West Virginia

Of I could give it no stars Or negative I would!!!!Went to Sonic drive-thru at 11:35 today11/4/21 for food with my fiance Order almost $20 worth of food. And had to turn around and go back Cuz my fiance's grilled chicken Had a hair in it When I got back to the speaker woman told me to pull around but to my surprise she has no hair net no hat and her hair flying all over the place I'm assuming the hair was hers I do not recommend anybody in Morgantown to eat at this sonic drive-in!!! Unless you want to EAT a hair ball sandwich read more

They literally took out order and then we got to the front and they told us we didn't order it. They were also out of the thing we ordered but didn't tell us when we ordered. Just mad. read more

Love Sonic. This Sonic is quick and the food was hot. They also gave me sauces and napkins without asking. I'll be back to eat here.

DO NOT MOBILE ORDER!!! Waited almost 45 minutes to receive my order, had to catch the attention of an employee who promptly brought out my order...whole time my order had been SITTING THERE! Now my food is soggy and my time is wasted:( read more

Literally the worst experience I've had at any establishment in a long time, maybe ever. The eating area was filthy, staff extremely rude and unhelpful. Food was average at best. Simply an awful experience and completely understandable why the company is doing so bad as a whole. Don't waste your time (35 minute wait) or money. read more

If you are a frequent customer, it should go without saying that you don't go to Sonic for the service. I have read other reviews stating that the employees perform some kind of weird ritual involving alcohol, not sure if that is true. But if you're looking for quality look somewhere else. Sonic is where I go when I want to eat something that makes me feel shame and I do not want to leave the confinement of my car. Food is okay and service is fine as long as you have an hour to kill before they take your order. I once ordered the Route 44 drink and the carhop only added to my shame when she rammed into the side of the pole because the drink was just "so big." read more

Ordered a Reese cup sonic blast and asked for extra reese cup. Obviously you have to pay extra whenever you ask for extra which I'm perfectly fine with, but when I got my sonic blast, I was basically eating vanilla ice cream. If you are going to charge people 60¢ extra for extra topping, make sure you put at least some of what is suppose to be in the sonic blast next time. Thank you. read more

Service was terrible. The wait to place an order was very long, and the wait for the food to be brought out was even longer.

I love coming here to Sonic, especially this one. I have found that a good majority of the car hops do in fact use the roller skates, thus enhancing the overall Sonic experience. The service to the car is always prompt and correct, which is great. The food is always amazing, and correct correctly. The bathrooms are clean and always stocked. The drive thru moves at an acceptable pace, however I always recommend car service at Sonic. I will be back! read more

I ordered a Banana BoBana Blast, a banana Sundae with pieces of wafer in it. Guess what they forgot.... BANANA. No joke. My banana sundae had no banana in it. Not even banana flavoring. And guess what was In it? Random chocolate chips. Definitely not supposed to be in there. I've had this blast at another sonic and loved it! This was sad. I am currently crying for the let down to my taste buds. read more

don't get it twisted I am a very patient human however the waiting time for the sonic drive-thru was nothing less than a decade. not only that, they proceeded to mess up the order so poorly an innocent girl had to get out of the car and approach the door. as she explained how they messed up her order they once again handed her the wrong item!! the sonic employees working there should sonic dash their way out immediately. read more
