Get this! Unless i am not allergic to salt, its ok they drowned them with salt. What the heck is a matter with them. Dont they understand that salt kills the taste of the food. Now i wiil walk around with the taste of salt. But its ok to take my hard earned money and treat me like this. He offered to give me fries without even saying im sorry. Keep them i dont need them. No ambiance as it is a standard drive-in restaurant. Processed food to be expected. Service in Monte Vista is terrible. Food arrives late and cold if ordering from a stall or mobile order. Drive-thru patrons clearly are priority and the only way to get your food in a timely manner. read more

Absolutely the worst dining experience in years!!! How can you screw up a corn dog??? The burger was not edible...vegetables old stale and wilted!!! They were out of a number of items...I am not sure they even cooked the cheese sticks... The best part of the meal was the nearly 30 minute wait!! I WILL NEVER GO TO A SONIC AGAIN!!! read more

OK the burgers are actually pretty good! I'm giving 5 stars because they forgot bacon on my burger and they brought me a whole new one! (A good thing because I dropped it on the floor of the car while searching for bacon ). Then the young man checked back to make sure I was satisfied . Great service! read more

Over-all its been not too good experiences here. About once a year I decide to give it another try, and every year I'm disappointed again. Tots were fresh, but undercooked in old oil. Bun was stale on the coney dog and they completely missed the cheese (literally missed as it was mostly on the side of the little cardboard holder). But to top it off...my Cherry Ocean Water was terrible. How do you mess up a Sprite with a little squirt of flavor? Not too sure but the mission of "just good enough for the guy to not want to come back for another year" was an absolute success!! read more

Absolute worst Sonic experience ever. Not only is the staff rude, I was shocked that I couldnt get a refill on my coke. This could be a policy at all Sonics but Im pretty sure I have gotten refills at other locations on soda. Not only did the make me pay for another drink (refused to refill my cup) they charged me $2.79 and it had so much ice I could BARELY get the straw in it! Such a ripoff. read more

Sat for over 30 minutes for a burger, tots, and drink. Food arrived cold and so I dis something I don't like to do. I sent it back. Again, cold burger and tots. Since I am critiquing the trip, no napkins and very little ice in the drink topped it all off. I would give them some slack if they were busy, but it was after the dinner rush, five cars in the lot, and I swear they didn't even try to improve. There were fries at rhe bottom of my tater tot pack, too. Since I was likely already risking a spit wad for sending it back the first time, I cut my losses and left. I wondered why this place has 2 stars but now I know... we are use to a sonic that gives fresh hot food but at this one you will receive Luke warm food that was cooked a while ago. Burgers were dry and the fixings were like they were placed on the burger an hour ago. The popcorn chicken was rock hard and looks like it was double fried to warm it up. The only Sonic I've ever been to and I loved it. The food was always really fresh and hot. The cherry limeades always hit the spot. I preferred their tater tots to the fries. The chili cheese coney dog is messy and sooooo good! Everyone should experience a Sonic once in their life--its just fun to hit the button, order and have the food delivered to your car. read more

This place is a joke. All I ordered was ice tea with extra ice and barely got any ice at all. When I asked her to please bring me the ice I showed I had ordered on my ticket she just stood here and argued with me. I'm just passing through, but suggest you stay far from here. The worst fast food place I've ever been. I used to love Sonic's food but it's clear that the employees here don't care at all. Never ever get orders right. Then after sending two incorrect orders back I asked for my money back and the car hops response was "well be read your order back to you." that still didn't make the order correct. Awful service! Waited over 10 minutes after pushing the order button and NO ONE even answered yo say "be right with you". When I got out of car and knocked on their window, they just ignored me. Then I saw them laughing. I left and will never go there again. I tried to call the manager, they said he was busy. I asked for his name, they said hang on he will be right with you. Just horrendous. I pulled to the drive up at 9:00 a.m. with one car at the drive up window and one in the order bays. I waited and waited for someone to take my order and no one did so I pulled up to the window. No one was visible then one employee showed up and went to a computer screen. Did not acknowledge I was there so I waited again. Alas, same poor service. I left at 9:14. Just lost a local customer. read more

The service here is terrible. On more than one occasion, at different times of the day, I've had to wait at least 25 minutes for my order. Most of the time, I'm only getting a drink. If there was another sonic here in town, I would probably go there. The staff is rude and snappy with customers. read more
