I just wanna start by saying Shaun/Sean whichever or however he spells it was AMAZING. I just did drive through and he was so personal (as in made you feel like you weren't at a fast food place) he made sure my burger was perfect and corrected my drink order and seemed very sincere. And even a huge handful of ketchup. I used to work at sonic, so believe me I know what it feels like, but he was so welcoming and friendly! Definitely deserves a little recognition. I'm currently pregnant so maybe it was my heighten senses or just the fact that foods I loved I no longer enjoy as much)-: The what is my favorite burger was just average, in fact I didn't even finish it. And they even put a ton of veggies on it- and I didn't even have to ask. The fries were how they always were, addicting!!! Ordered ahead on our roadtrip, paid and tipped 15% on the app. When the food was delivered waitress just handed it over and walked off without asking if we needed anything all. We used the call button to ask for some napkins (none in the bag), several minutes went by and no one came out. Then used call button again and someone finally brought us napkins. It wasn't a horrible experience. It just took a long time. They never answered when we were parked and pushed our button so we went through the drive through. We had to repeat cheese and ketchup only 3 times. They got our order right. We got charged for a doctor pepper we didn't order. They were out of onion rings. The only thing I wanted. No big deal. Terrible service and food. I sat there and waited for an hour watching one of the employees smoking a blunt at the dumpster while waiting on my food. When I finally received it , the drinks were disgusting . Dr peppers had no carbonation whatsoever. My hot dog was not fully cooked or something because it was like chewing on rubber. The tots tasted like they were cooked 12 hours prior. I pretty much tossed 20 dollars in the trash and wasted a hour of my life ordering at this shit hole. read more

Waited 25 minutes to get a medium butterfinger and a small Reese's blast and when it finally came the medium butterfinger was only 3/4 full and I had to have them take it back and add the rest of the ice cream and a different person brought it back. when i got home the Reese's blast was a cup of ice cream with Reese's sprinkled on top and NONE mixed in. Worst Sonic experience I have ever had, and I have had a LOT! Took forever to deliver 4 drinks, with only one other car in a stall! Carhop came out with an attitude, no smile, barely an apology for our wait. Two of our drinks were ordered with extra ice and had hardly any ice. When I asked the carhop if we could get a cup of ice, because the two did not have enough ice, I simply got on eye-roll and attitude. She went inside to get the ice, but I left without it, for fear of something being done to the ice she was going to bring. Managers were outside, but I did not speak to them. Came here after leaving an appointment I had all I wanted was a cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and a cherry limeade. The person taking my order was so rude and rushed my entire order. Then after waiting 20 minutes it finally says they are bringing out my order. Another ten minutes go buy and I still don't have my food. I call back in and tell them what is happening and they say the will send some one out they never did I had to flag someone down. Told the man everything only to find out that they are out of chili. 40 minutes from order to food. Cold cheese sticks that tasted freezer burnt. How do you run out of onion rings? Since when does a cherry line aide come with no fruit? Bacon was burnt. (A Cardinal Sin!) Staff had the biggest nose ring I have ever seen. She really needs some fashion advice. I always find myself asking myself why did I come to this sonic location. They are ALWAYS slow and sometimes don't even pay enough attention to bring everything on the ticket out. Don't come to this location if you expect prompt, quality service. If you have 30+ minutes time to kill and you don't mind that they don't send condiments on the side with your order then this might be the place for you. I ordered at 2:58 and got my food at 3:30. I'm seventy years old and have eaten at Sonics nearly my entire life. They are individually owned and franchised so you do suspect some variation in quality I suppose which is a major failure for a chain restaurant in my opinion but that being said, this is the worst Sonic I have ever eaten at. A few have been really good as far as service, food preparation and freshness (I assume they basically have the same ingredients) and most have been OK. This one is consistently terrible. Slow service, poorly prepared food and basically just a rip off. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving. There are many better options and usually much cheaper. The Sonic in Florence is not much further north and the quality is much higher. read more

This used to be my favorite burger place but the last 2 burgers I have gotten I had to throw away. After telling someone 3 times no onions then i have extra onions, so many onions it literally made me gag. I cant eat onions thats why I made sure to repeat myself loudly no onions! Maybe if they didn't have music up so loud on the speakers right above where u order they would be able to hear you. Then it takes them about 17 minutes to get your order out only for it to be wrong....honestly the only thing they can get right is the drinks. How do you run out of whipped topping at Sonic? I don't know, ask Sonic ‍‍ I ordered a Coconut cream pie shake. I ordered a regular size which was pretty big. I those things WITH whipped topping. The girl brings it out and I told her what I wanted (since it wasn't already on it as it should have been). She took it back and told me they were out of whipped topping. Had I known they were out, I wouldn't have ordered it. I used my debit card so I figured it would be a hassle so I ended up with a big cup of naked coconut cream pie shake. If I could give zero stars I would!!! Ordered a sonic cheese burger and a summertime chicken BLT. Got the sonic cheese burger with NO MEAT! I mean who does that?? Then the picture on the menu of the summertime chicken BLT showed bacon on the picture, when I open my sandwich there's NO BACON in it.. Although I only live 15 minutes away, this is my first time to come to this sonic and I was so impressed. Best sonic I have ever been too. The call taker turned my bad day into a better one. His name is Julius. He was exceptionally friendly, very loud and clear over the intercom, and his personality just blew me away. These days most fast food chains have rude employees so to coming across a friendly one is rare yet heartwarming. He heard me wrong on one order and when repeating it, I corrected him and he said "I am so sorry about that, my friend." I can't tell you how many times I hear "my friend" at the end of questions and/or statements and that was just so awesome. Julius, you are going places with that friendly attitude; never lose it. I've always heard "Smile at strangers. You never whose day you may make better". Well I could feel the smile through the intercom. I didn't have any extra cash to give but I'm going back to make sure he gets a tip for his friendly personality. Sonic, give this man a raise; he deserves it. read more
