Terrible location. You're not going to Sonic for steak and Lobster, but you're not going to Sonic for a cold pile of ingredients sloppily thrown together to slightly resemble what a Sonic burger looks like or foods fried in broken down old grease. A Sonic chili burger used to be an occasional guilty pleasure, but after two tries at this location, they should be the ones who feel guilty for serving such nasty food read more

Overall, the food was just ok. I was actually really excited to try sonics new smash burger, and it was actually pretty good for a fast food burger (not an actual smash burger though), but the tots definitely left something to be desired (bland and covered in black, fryer bits. These issues would be excusable if it wasn't for the wait. I had to wait 10+ minutes to get my order delivered to my car, but the server himself was actually really nice. I'm not sure if this amount of wait is like "the usual" for sonic (this is the first time I've been since I was a kid), but it felt weirdly long. The ambience was quite nice. Although I rarely go to sonic, I'm a sucker for their feux-neon sign and press-to-order system. No complaints there from me! read more

This location is absolutely horrible. Waited over 30 minutes for A DRINK. And still waiting. And they are so rude!!!! Needs new workers. This location has always been so slow. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

I asked for a medium fry with my order and I received a half full of what seemed like a baby toddler fry. Luke warm at best. Now I know one of the reasons why I don't go to fast food restaurants. A bright spot, our car hop was friendly. Especially for it being almost 11 pm. read more

Took 45 minutes and we didn't even get our order. We went to ask the employee how much longer it would be and she just laughed and said she had no idea what we ordered. When we asked for a refund she ignored us went back inside and just started joking around with whoever was inside. We didn't even get a refund just a hit a receipt reprint. She then laughed in our face handing over said receipt. Horrible service and a huge waste of time. Pick any other location, this one is a joke. read more

So freaking nasty! A $5 cheese burger burnt very thin and just nasty!!! Service was okay, drive threw..nasty trash on ground everywhere read more

Sonic Drive-In - Cheese burger so burnt or over microwaved it's like a rock! Do not wait your $ on this place. Disgusting nasty cold food! - Burgers Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

It took 20 minutes for us to not even get our drinks. Went through the drive-thru and the lady said that our drinks weren't in the system.

This is the second time I've been to this location in 2 weeks and no one will respond to me at the drive up intercoms or in the drive thru. I rarely ever go to sonic but there's been plenty of employees there each time I've tried to stop recently. The first time was about 20 minutes before closing, which I can understand starting to shut down at the that time. The second time was tonight, 2 hours before closing, and I still couldn't get service. Plenty of employees there as well. I even made eye contact with someone inside and they noticed and moved out of my view? I'm not sure what's going on, but I've called the customer service hotline and reported this as well. Hopefully this can be corrected. read more

Absolute shit service. Ordered a large Sprite and a Large lemonade at the order box and they said "they would be right with us" after we ordered and then never checked in again. We waited at the order box for 15 minutes, never heard from anyone again. So we pulled forward to the window since we had already ordered, though we never received a total. At the window we waited for another 15 minutes and can hear workers yelling on the inside. Clearly a very terribly run establishment with shitty, lazy workers. Do better. This is supposed to be FAST food and we could t even get a fast soft drink. read more

this is hands-down the worst experience I have ever gotten my entire life. The most lazy workers who we can hear screaming on the inside hasn't taken our order from the drive-through in 30 minutes. Everyone at this location on this day should be fired. Genuinely the WORST place i have ever been read more

my mom and i made a lunch stop and we ordered a burger and a toaster ahead on the app. we check in and 10 minutes later had to press the stall button and say we've been waiting. when they finally bring a bag out there's just a burger. no napkins, no reciept, and no toaster. we ended up calling back, waiting, and calling a second time before we finally got our whole order. we used the app and were out a whopping 20 minutes later. as a former carhop, they need to put in more effort. read more

i get in the right lane drive thru and pull up to the speaker and wait "hello!?" and wait "hello!?" and wait "hello?!" and wait. by this time the guy in the left lane finished and pulled up and the next guy pulls up so I figured the right speaker's broken. I say "hello!?" one more time get no response and I pull up and plan on placing my order at the window but when I get to the window the lady says "sorry I can't take orders at the window" I recite my previous experience at the speaker figuring it's broken and she just says to me again "I'm sorry I can't take orders at the window you'll have to go around" so i said "i've already been in line for over 15 minutes. Are you serious?" and like a robot she said the same line again so I just left and will never return! read more

If I could give it a zero I would. Ordered chicken club toaster and they put a frozen breaded chicken pattie on it instead of the chicken breast. Tots with cheese, received tots with no cheese. Tea with extra ice, received tea with NO ice. All the food was cold and my tea was hot. read more

The food and service was amazing! The crew was so sweet and friendly they have the best carhops over there and the management clearly knows what they are doing read more

I honestly try to give this location a chance since its one building down from my job, but the service is horrible. I usually go around 8:45 am. When I pulled up to the speaker to push the button, no one answered. I waited about 5 minutes. Once I got frustrated with that, I backed out and used the drive thru. I waited about 3 minutes for them to answer me. Finally got my order in. I drove around only to see a few other cars in front of me. It took about 8 minutes for both of those cars to get their food. I finally get to the window, and it took another 3 minutes to get my stuff. I'm supposed to be for work at 9 am, and if the math is mathing, you can pretty much guess that I was late for work. I honestly wish I could say this was the first time, but its not. So I just won't be returning. read more

very very disrespectful shift manager. she thinks she can talk to those kids any kind of way. she always cutting employees shift. its the Sonic on 3521 west pinkhook road read more

can def see why they have such a low ratting, absolutely poor service, or better yet no service at all, set there almost 10 mins getting told we are coming only to just get ignored and watch others who arrived after complete there order all the while employees just joking around laughing with not a care in the world. sonic has never been this way for me, can safely say that I would rather just not visit this site again. read more

I've been going to this location for the past couple of years and seen the quality gradually decrease to literally the worst I've ever had from a sonic last night. I had ordered ahead I still had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food to come out. After leaving frustrated and once getting home, not only was it not what I ordered, but the drink, my tea, tasted as if it had been sitting for about 4 days. Tasting the burger I DID receive, it tasted so off that I just spat out my bite and threw the whole meal away, I wish I could give this a 0/5 stars. I won't ever be going back to this location and I actually recommend anyone that sees this avoid going here if an alternate is nearby. read more

Sonic as a company should be disappointed in this location. I got 3 corn dogs completely burnt after waiting in the drive thru window for 7 minutes with no communication from the staff. read more

Okay, so I rarely eat fast food, I mean rarely, unless it's an emergency. Came here after a night of eating and drinking - I a talking 5 courses paired with 5 full-size cocktails, so we had to come to Sonic to chill and grab a coffee before driving home. Though they were ready to close, the staff was still eager to help, especially when it came to unlocking the restrooms. I don't ever have high expectations for fast food joints, so I tend to heavily weigh-in customer service. If the food is already mediocre, they need to overcompensate in other areas, right? In this case, service was great. It was entirely convenient for us to walk over from the restaurant we were at to be able to recover from the wee-bit of drinking we did! read more

Last chance! They blew it again. Why do I wait for a fast food order when it is cold and after the girl says we'll have salsa in the bag and if not we'll hand it to you but yet I still have to double check and ask again for it. No wonder I'm the only customer. Service sucks read more

Today I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich I asked for a fresh, and it took about 10 to 13 minutes for it to be done. and the french fries that I got was it were absolutely cold. It wasn't a whole chicken patty it was two small pieces of chicken put together on One Bun. The outside of the chicken was probably cooked way too fast because as soon as I bet into it one of the whole entire chicken patties came out and made a mess. It was too difficult to chew and take bites of. I had to keep putting the chicken patty back into it. I don't think I'll be ordering that again please teach someone how to properly cook chicken like that. read more

By far the worse sonic in Lafayette. I've gone there several times, every time they mess my order up. I've tried talking to the manager, they replaced my messed up meal for ANOTHER messed up meal. I then proceeded to call Corporate who again then was no help. I've always loved Sonic but the way they treated me at this location is enough to tell everyone I'm friends with and related to, to dodge it. I regret ever giving this sonic any of my money. If you're looking for a sonic where they take care of you, they respect your wishes and do as you ask instead of how THEY want, I recommend the Sonic off of Johnston, and/or Kaliste Saloom. read more

Nice people there they work very fast they don't play games with speed I like that. Makes me feel important as a guest

service was incredible and our waiters were so friendly. i have a problem with the suggested tip system when you pay for card. 88 cents (keep the change), $1, or $2, THEN custom tip. that is an insult to your employees that you wouldn't do 18%, 20%, 22%. Coming from a service industry employee. Your employees deserve better read more

Classic sonic slushies. Great on a hot day. It was a little hard for the staff to handle a large group, but they did well.

Ive eaten at several locations there pretty good im really a big fan of their onion rings & tater tots though there's a variety of burgers hotdogs icecreams & drinks to choose from read more
