The worst fast food place in Junction, constantly forgetting to put items in bag, just got a kids meal and didn't give my kid her toy, but they were nice to tell me I could drive back in the 100 degree weather to come back and get it. No ketchup no mint, if this business was taken out of this town it would only be an improvement to this town, Sonic sucks and so does every lazy person who carelessly works there, never spending another dime at Sonic again, McDonald's and Dairy Queen at least get better business from Sonic's crap service. read more

We stopped here cause we were thirsty and craving sonic drinks. The one at the travel center down the road was strange so we chose this one. We did everything via the app to save money on the drinks. I was passing through Junction while on business and stopped in for a Route 44 ice tea and a large tater tot. Sonic ice is a magical thing. I say I ordered ice tea but I really wanted ice with a little bit of tea. I always eat every bit of the ice. I know my dentist would freak if he knew how much Sonic ice I eat. Sometimes when I am on the road I buy it by the bag and bring a cup and just eat it the whole trip. So the ice was awesome as expected and the tea was good as well. Now for the tater tots, they were disgusting!!! They were so oily, the oil leaked through the bag. They also tasted like old oil, yuck! I was already on the road before I realized the issues with the tots so I was stuck with them! So disappointing! If you get anything from the fryer here, ask when they last changed their oil. read more

First I placed an order the girl Who took my order did not even read it back I waited 20 minutes and I kept seen cars come and go so I pushed the button and asked about my order the guy told me it would be right out he came out a couple minutes later and the order was cold and I asked what happened and he said that they forgot about it and I told them what they were gonna do about it that I wanted to talk to a manager still our order was messed up manager came outside I told him about it and he says well you can have it for free!! This drive through is not open till 10 the employees play loose with their hours. After arriving at 9:30 we were informed that they were closed when I stated the time to this said employees he said that they close at 10. This place needs to clear out employees that don't follow the rules. I'm sure the owner would be interested that their establishment is closing early and losing business. read more

This place was miserable. Stopped on the way through to Austin because Sonic is one of the only fast food places that serves anything remotely gluten-free. My boyfriend's meal was (mostly) correct, but mine was awful. I ordered a bunless burger with added bacon and mayo and got a patty and cheese and NOTHING else. We had to ask for the rest of my order (that we paid for) and they still only brought me ketchup and mayo, but no bacon. They finally brought me the bacon after I ate my burger - one piece that was pure fat and a crumpled mass of 2-3 more pieces that were burned to a black crisp. Gross. On top of that, our sodas were completely filled with ice and about 3oz of actual soda. I don't expect much from fast food, but when we have to pay $16 for two very basic meals, I expect better than this. This was absolutely awful and there was nothing redeeming that could even make this go to 2 stars. read more

There was only one other car there and it took 15 minutes to get 3 milkshakes brought to us. They were supposed to be half price but they overcharged us and claimed it was because we ordered extra flavors... We ordered off the basic shake menu. I didn't appreciate the attitude when I asked for a receipt and didn't get one. The milkshakes were fine which is why this jumped to a 2 star experience. Bathrooms are grimy. I was missing two drinks, two of the items were wrong (note I have dietary issues and can't eat dairy-specifically order from the app to eliminate the dairy-get it home and it has dairy!!!) This is a no-star Sonic. We ordered two shakes and then the wait began. There were 4 or 5 young boys working and seemed to have trouble delivering any order. A man named Martin pulled up next to us and stated he had a call in order. We waited, waited and waited some more. Finally two of the boys came out and decided it was break time so we left. We drove down the street to Dairy Queen and we were in and out of their drive thru in about 5 minutes. Stay away! We were driving by on our way to San Antonio and stopped by to pick up some burgers. We ordered at the drive thru. It took a while to get our food I would say at least around 10 min more or less. We noticed the workers were not even in uniform, just shorts and regular t-shirts which we thought was odd. We finally got out food and were on our way. I gave the burger to my husband, to my 4 year old and then I got mine out. The bread was cold but looked ok. As I was taking bites I noticed it didn't have any flavor. I told my husband, and he said his was fine. We asked for no onion, we got onion. I noticed my little one taking very small bites of her kids burger and she is usually one to finish it kind of quick. I ate half of mine, it was grossing me out and my husband and daughter finished the whole thing. 2 hours later my daughter started throwing it all up. Which almost at the same time my husband and I started getting huge stomach aches and had that sick feeling as well. No sonic for us ever! read more

My family and I stopped by expecting a nice meal driving back from New Mexico but in return the man taking our orders didn't even give us a chance to order our meals without interrupting and asking if we wanted anything else( he was trying to hurry us up)it was 3 orders. The drink in the first order didn't taste right. I told Anthony who was ( that's what he said his name was) taking our order that my drink didn't taste right... he walks away and said let me check the machine, and again he didn't even give me a chance to change my drink. He came back with another sprite, which I did not ask for. So I got off thinking it would be faster. I was about to go in and I heard a girl say thinking I didn't hear her, "So what did the bit** say" So that same girl "Jenny" came charging towards me with attitude and I said there was no reason to walk up on me like that. The employees were not even in uniform and the place including employees had very poor hygiene. If this is how this store treats their customers they all including the store owner need to get proper training. This has been the worst service I have had in my life.
