There is something different about this Braum's…read more After 35 years in the metroplex, I'm very familiar with Braum's as a restaurant and a grocery spot. We love Braum's milk for its flavor (exactly the same after the A2 switch, btw!) and improved nutrient profile. We love being able to run in and grab a couple of essentials from the grocery section (although we miss when they used to hand you milk gallons out of the drive-through window--ancient history, right?!). We enjoy the burgers and the thick crinkle-cut fries, and we adore the ice cream, which is the absolute best bang for your buck in addition to being excellent. But one thing we have never, ever loved about Braum's is the service. Typically, Braum's hires a bunch of teens and older folks who seem like they'd rather be anywhere else. I have considered shoplifting gallons of milk before for the way I've been ignored standing at the checkout for minutes and minutes. If they would team up with Chick-fil-A for employee training, they could run the ice cream world. But there's something different about this location! The people who served our family were HAPPY. They SMILED. They got our orders right and they seemed genuinely happy to have us there. I came back to the counter after we got our food and was immediately tended to cheerfully, then while I waited another employee asked if I had been helped. I was almost speechless. This is far and away the best service I have ever had at a Braum's. Not only did I jump on Yelp and drop a five-star rating asap, but I also spoke to the shift leader to tell him what a good thing they have going here. I'm so glad for the chance to say something positive about our family favorite burger joint! Other Braum's locations should take notes!

We made a special trip here because we were craving Braum's, and it definitely didn't disappoint!…read more My parents both ordered regular burgers, and I got the 1/2 lb Jalapeño Pepper Jack Burger special, which came with fries and a 16 oz shake or malt. I chose the chocolate malt, and everything was fresh, hot, and really tasty. The burger had a nice kick without being overwhelming, the fries were great, and the chocolate malt was thick and delicious. The staff were polite and friendly while taking our order, and the restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. The Fresh Market section was neat and well stocked, and the two unisex restrooms were also in good condition. One thing to note is that this Braum's is a little off the beaten path and a bit of a drive from the interstate. Because of that, it seemed like most of the customers were either locals or people who intentionally made the trip for Braum's, just like we did. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish, and I'd happily stop here again the next time I'm passing through the area.

Everyone was RIGHT. We had a wonderful experience at this Soda Shop and our taste buds just cannot forget the delicious shakes we had here. It was colorful, lively and the aroma of ice cream and waffle cones was overwhelmingly good. The staff behind the counter were so nice to us and shared their recommendations. I decided to order the "Raspberry Nutella Shake." It was exactly what it sounds like--ice cream, raspberry, and Nutella all in one. SO. DELICIOUS. I highly recommend it. It was creamy, sweet, and just perfect. It came topped with whipped cream and a cherry. We cannot wait to come back the next time we're in town and also can't wait to tell our friends and family who would go to Glen Rose to make sure they make a stop here! Thank you Shoo-Fly!!
