I know it's the holidays but this seems like a normal Sunday to them. Starting from getting my basket outside to get it in the store and seeing a barbecue restaurant in the store. A car wash on the property with a gas station on the property. This is an all-in-one grocery store food chain. I see it's very popular here in Texas and this is my first time truly experiencing the H-E-B moment. Really some of the highlights is they have a lot of people checking you out. It's actually real people, they have baggers that bag your grocery up. They will help escort you to your vehicle. This is old school customer service type grocery store and the prices are just the same as anywhere else if not a better deal. I definitely understand why my sister, friends and family have all talked so good about this store and I am proud to see them in the DFW area growing tremendously. Please keep up the good work. They're building a new H-E-B in Euless, I can't WAIT! One of our doctors ordered delivery one evening, and that piqued my interest, so I did the same. With the prices increasing, I've started to spread my wings and look at other places for my weekly shopping. I visit Walmart, Aldi, and now H-E-B. Like gas, many of us are now shopping where we can find the best deals, even if that means splitting up our shopping lists. I don't know if with this store, you can pay for a membership that will waive delivery fees; if so, I may do that when the store in Euless opens. Since COVID, I've been glued to delivery. Some stores I will visit (Aldi, Central Market, H-E-B, etc.), but I'm mostly a delivery gal. I took a chance and ordered strawberries, and it was a chance worth making. They are delicious and were chosen well. Placing my order online was very easy, and even with my delivery being done in the evening, they still had everything in stock. If I may add, I did get one of their famous iced croissants, and it was worth the hype. I love H-E-B! read more

How I have missed HEB since I moved to North Texas after going to college down in College Station! It has been years of waiting for HEB to come to the area. I avoided the one in Waxahachie because the parking lot was always too packed. I LOVE this grocery store! I don't have to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth to visit Central Market, because this store fills every HEB calorie in my heart, haha. Their produce, bakery, and meat section are all top tier. I've also picked up several beautiful flower arrangements from their flower section. I ALSO have to recommend the BBQ restaurant that is near the entryway if you would like an extra-large ice tea to sip on while you are doing your shopping. It is usually packed in this grocery store, but the checkout stands always have multiple people working them, so they get people in and out of here in a flash. The drive thru bbq was disappointing. No one answered the speaker. I said hello and then someone mumbled something. I assumed this was my cue to place my order. I drove to the window and the worker was a kid w bad acne and no face cover and dismissive attitude. As I waited for my food, he's touching his face, his computer, wiping his hands on his shirt then goes over to my food and grabs napkins and shoves them in my bag then comes to the window and holds the bag. I have to reach all the way for it and he doesn't extend his arm at all!! I asked him to hand it to me and he feebly hands it closer! His name is Ryan and he needs some people skills and hygiene pointers. On top of everything else, I ate near all my shoddy brisket nachos and found a piece of plastic in them. I'm done! read more

It was Father's Day Weekend so, I decided to pull into HEB Mansfield. I found a parking spot right away. I quickly got a sample of Chili, Potato Salad and an adult beverage. It was so good. The servers were friendly too! I walked around but, it was pretty crowded. I checked out their prices and grab some essentials and I was able to check out quickly too! I definitely recommend HEB Mansfield because despite the crowd you can get out pretty quickly with 15 items or less. Their prices are competitive too. read more

We usually frequent the Waxahachie HEB but decided to come check out the Mansfield location. It's huge and busy, BUSY! Nice selection of any and everything you might need. It's nice and clean. Workers were nice and helpful. Okay now when we checked out we were greeted and checked out by Pearson. He was so nice and fast. We put everything on the belt and he was done as soon as we looked back up. Great customer service! read more

This store is HUGE & has EVERYTHING & then some. This was my 1st time at the Mansfield location & IT is very clean! True to the HEB name.

Again, the Californian mind cannot comprehend the vastness that is H-E-B. Truly a one stop shop, upon entering I was completely bewildered to see an entire Texas BBQ restaurant inside, a fresh Sushiya stop, a guy getting ready to cook some food as a demo with a microphone, and so much more. If anything, it's like a mix of Costco (but not gate kept by membership), Walmart, and a Mexican supermarket like El Super or something of the like. Lots of options to shop for at way cheaper than California prices. They even had pet supplies and goods I usually don't see at other big grocery stores. What was wild was that there's even these extra coupons next to certain items on these index card rings, making the discounts EVEN BIGGER. I got a REALLY nice padded insulated zipper tote bag that was large enough to fit all of my travel luggage from my broken duffle bag into it AND it was only $5. WHAT IN THE WORLD. It's a H-E-B brand insulated tote bag too. It's so "nice" that my mom says it's TOO NICE to be used for just regular groceries and is planning to use it for something "fancier" lol. I really liked how there was also the little H-E-B buddy kiosk near check out for kids to do an activity book, join to earn points, and to get a birthday gift. Gave me nostalgic 90's vibes to fast food places that used to have those fun kid memberships. That's a good touch that I have never seen at a supermarket before. HEB is a destination! My extended family is from San Antonio. And they would always take me there when I visited. This location does not disappoint! I love how large this location is. And how it is a one stop shop. It's clean and well organized. It also has organic vegetables as well. Plus their selection of cheese is second to none. Other than Central Market of course. I found some great Texas sized family pack of T-bone steaks and pork chops that easily fed my family and had some to freeze for the future. I recommend anyone who asks to go to HEB! read more

Purchased a Southwest Chicken salad. After getting it home, and opening it for dinner, realized it had no chicken & no dressing. This particular HEB in Mansfield is the worst. It's not clean, the employees seem unhappy, and it not very well managed. I gave them a few extra chances after some other big mistakes (example: I ordered a particular turkey for Thanksgiving, I had the receipt, I went to pick it up & they lost the order)...not to mention the many times I've seen expired food on their shelves. I won't be back to this location. Very sad since it's the most convenient one to Midlothian. read more

Love shopping at HEB. Hands down excellent selections and more than you can ask for in variety. When I shop I honestly don't look at my receipt. For some reason I did and realized $8 in "clipped coupons" from the HEB app hadn't shown up on my receipt. When I asked about it I was told "We've been having trouble with the app capturing all the coupons." Umm, What? Then why don't you tell people that and have the paper option at the checkout? It took about 5 more minutes to straighten out. I am posting this to make others aware you might want to check your receipt. If you go to the trouble to use the app and clip the savings I am sure you want it. read more

Everyone says that HEB is expensive, but it is NOT. I was previously a regular shopper at Kro but after I started going to HEB, I quickly realized that they have better prices, a good selection and good quality. They even put coupons in the aisles right next to the product. No need to scan digital coupons in an app. read more

My husband and I came here on a Sunday and... boy, what a bad day to go grocery shopping. I highly encourage you to come to HEB during the weekdays. We came here right after the new year so I think many families are bulking up on foods for the children going back to school and parents going back to work. So this was our fault! However, there are a lot of parking stalls and lots of carts available. They have a pickup area that looked organized and easy to navigate. There's a lot of food, spices, organization supplies, pharmacy.. whatever you need, they have it! Funny story... we've been looking for green peppers and achiote powder from different markets. This is what lead us to HEB. It's been a frustrating process. Walmart had a 2 pack organic green peppers for $3 and I couldn't bring myself to buy that.. then Kroger sold it for more than $1.50. I was losing my mind.. how can green peppers be so much?!?! HEB to the rescue! 70 cents.. that's more my style. Thanks for the great prices HEB! read more

I stopped by H-E-B Mansfield on Sunday right before the Super Bowl to grab the Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade that my cousin highly recommended. She lives in Houston and had nothing but great things to say about both, so I figured I couldn't go wrong -- I mean, who doesn't love lemonade? Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. If you want to go to a very busy grocery store, go to HEB. This store is crazy busy at least on weekends. I have been here a few times on weekdays in the early afternoon but not as busy. This was a better time to shop at HEB. I like to look at the sales paper to get the specials on vegetables, fruit, chicken, and beef. Otherwise, the regular prices are about the same as everyone else's. This store has a large produce section and meat area. I also like the bakery, sandwich meat deli and cheese area. You can also buy premade food or meals ready to eat. I have checked this out and the food looks good, the price is not bad. One day I may try the premade food. Parking is busy as well and you may need to drive around or park far out. The front of the store has a bunch of plants to buy. Gas is also available at a good price. Plus, a BBQ restaurant inside the store up front. read more

H‑E‑B has some of the best in-house made products that you will find at grocery stores making shopping for everything from home to events so easy. The stores are always clean and the staff is friendly. Is it busy? Absolutely but it's because everyone knows how great it is. 05/02/2025 around 2:30-3:00 Central. So I would give a higher review but the man standing in the simple meal prep aisledoing the fajita queso sample completely ignore me. Like the one stocking greeted me so nicely. He wouldn't give me eye contact he wouldn't acknowledge me. He just wouldn't. It was weird. I still ended up getting two items from the simple meal aisle. Just not what he was giving a sample of. Crazy part about it I would have gotten probably what he was giving a sample of just like the woman who was doing the chips and salsa in front of the fruit.I wasn't coming in there for that but her professionalism and her eagerness to show great customer service I decided to buy the product. Funny thing about the fajita queso man, everyone he gave a sample to in the time I was in the aisle no one bought the product.I really was coming in there for green tomatoes. So, I am glad the store had what I was looking for.Texas grocery stores need to do better and keep green tomatoes stocked. The cashier in the 25 or less self check out was so helpful and friendly. I wish I knew the women that help names because that is what customer service is all about. I am big on service and treating each customer as if they mattered. Brand spanking new HEB! It's absolutely big and beautiful! And includes a True Texas BBQ! I was so excited when they opened this grocery store, it's huge! Not the biggest tho I believe the biggest HEB is in San Antonio. HEB offers a variety of brands and lots more products than your regular grocery store. There's a savings club you can join so you can get your weekly advertising. Great deals on different meats , normally they have insane deals on brisket! So I'm waiting for that sale lol They had that viral Tajin mango and lime sorbet , like was in stock we got it and it was aight. Other than that come and even tho parking is packed , the store is really big so it's not crazy crowded. And the lines move fast! That's all! read more

I used to shop 100% at H‑E‑B in Burleson, TX until the produce went downhill and the cashiers were another problem. Recently I had a couple of free manufacturer coupons and H‑E‑B had the product so I went there to get those items plus some other things that were on sale. Well, the cashier must have been new as she didn't know what to do with the coupons so she called the CSM on duty (the CSM without trying the coupons) and she handed the coupons back to me and told me the manufacturer has to come in and verify that they will work. I called back to the store to talk to the manager on duty (2.5 was on the job) and she told me they couldn't force them thru. That I understand, but nobody tried them. Next I contact corporate and they will check into and call me back. Well, guess what- no call back. What has happened to the old customer service? Being that I used to be a customer service manager I expect to be treated the same way I had to treat customers. There used to be a saying that the customers are always right, but that I don't believe is taught anymore. read more

So we started taking pictures Of the store not of people working there or anything just of the fruit and the cheese and the stuff that he liked in there and a gentleman walked up to him and told him he's not allowed to take pictures nor take videos, and the reason he was taking pictures was to show our daughter back in Arizona. How cool the store was. And so I googled heb if you go look on Google, there are pictures of the people that have there photos on g oogle. So what the hell? Usually I love HEB. I always do a curbside order. Over the last 2 months, however, I have received produce that is bad. I'm not too picky on the produce. I received a simple head of lettuce. Has a lot of brown on the outside. I mean a lot. I thought if I peel off the first 2 layers maybe it isn't bad. That lettuce was brown throughout the entire thing. The "stalk" was completely brown. Now I have to go back over there just for a head of lettuce because the shopper didn't pay attention. ***UPDATE*** I placed a small order after this just so I could get the lettuce. Dear Baby Jesus ! Thank you for FINALLY bringing HEB Grocery Stores to the Dallas Ft Worth area. I've lived in the metroplex since 1988 and have missed them. We grew up on them in South Texas and also the Abilene area. Why do we love them? Their produce, their wine and cheese selections, their Texas brands offered, (buttered tortillas!) You know their tortillas are good when they're featured in a Super Bowl Commercial!! THEIR BAKERY!!! It's so hard to find a grocery store bakery that bakes fresh any longer. They all have frozen cakes and they bring them out to frost them. - NOT HEB!!!! Baked fresh and so good!!! Buy the homemade Ranch Dressing from the produce section!!! The prices- you can choose less expensive such as Hill Country Fare or HEB brand or more gourmet options from their Central Market stores!!! The Mansfield location has a BBQ restaurant inside . If you've ever been to an H-E-B before, you'd understand the hype. This one is as wonderful as any other I've been to. Today was just the 2nd day it's been open and for it to be the madhouse that it was, this store was fully stocked. All of the employees were super friendly and helpful and I found all of the goodies I was looking for (with the exception of the butter tortillas). I'm sure they had them but I was ret to go. Bit disappointed with this store. As a previous Houstonian who was used to how amazing these stores were, getting the one here was a bit of a let down. The section with the ready to cook meals is good and their fresh squeezed OJ is always worth it! They still haven't painted the lines on the parking lot directing traffic down the one way lanes which causes a bit of jam when people go the wrong way!! read more

They have a great selection but I usually order delivery because I work so much. Most bakery products, meat, and produce expire very fast. I bought a pineapple cake delivered one evening with expiration of the following day. The same thing happened with 1.5 pounds of ground beef, next day expiration. I feel like I pay a premium plus $7.95 delivery so they can dump their old stock. I'm much happier with Kroger delivery. Although the selection is less, food is fresh, and I don't have to throw anything away. read more
