They never can get orders correct. Blast are turned into milk shakes. Food is just gross and doesn't taste like other Sonic's. Sometimes you wait forever other times they are quick. Will not be going back. read more

I totally wish I had got our Carhops name but she was a spunky, smiling, happy young lady who can to the car super energetic and fast. Most times when we order from the Sonic App it takes FOREVER or something is happening with the order that causes our order to take a long time. Not this day but the time we pulled up and checked in our order was at our vehicle in less than one minute. I can't say if this happens with every order but if so props to this location. Mann, this Sonic been going hard ever since I was youngsta and we always thought Sonic was DOPE...... well, except my mom. I can't really think of anything at Sonic - food wise - that's just horrible and it seems like they always have good or at least decent Employees that working there, oh and sometimes cute girl's 2 witch is always Plus! Highlands Sonic is great place 2 get your fast food from and they have really good hamburgers freach fries, ice cream + Chocolate Malts GO HARD AF!!!! ‼ So on tha cool I would recommend sliding through. read more

The commute from Crosby to Houston was always a long one. Nearly thirty miles one way and if there was traffic, sometimes that thirty miles felt like fifty. It was worsened when the faulty air conditioning went out in my old school Datsun! But despite the comfort factor, I still needed to get to Houston even without beautifully chilled air swirling around the cabin of my car. So what did I do? Well, few things could make no air conditioning in a car during a Houston summer tolerable but I tried. A good selection of mix tapes in the car (yeah, before CD players + iPods were ubiquitous), a fresh pack of American Spirits (non-smoker now for many years, thank you very much), and a quick pit stop to Sonic for Route 44 cherry limeade before hopping on I-10. And you know what? That trifecta of things made the commute bearable and I'd have something to drink for several hours if I finished it at all. I never really ate at this particular location. Maybe a grilled cheese and tater tots now and again. I did get an obscene amount of cherry limeades though. I know they also have raspberry and strawberry but it's all about the fresh squeezed limes and extra maraschino cherries! read more

Sat at the drive thru window for 25 minutes just to get 3 blasts. Watched the employees move so slow and talk through the whole thing. I was the only person in the line, so the delay was completely uncalled for. I worked at sonic in Pasadena for about a year, so seeing the lack of care in employees is discouraging for this chain. read more

I love sonic but this is the worst one I've ever been to. Ordered ahead on the app and had to wait 25 minutes and the order wasn't correct.

I find it appalling that carhops only make $2.13 an hour and with no option for tipping when using a credit or debit card. Especially with cash payments becoming more and more obsolete in today's economy. read more

Their customer service has really been lacking lately. The food quality has declined as well, I've gotten fries that taste like they've been cooked in old oil and chicken that is hard and tastes old. We went there yesterday and they must have new management!! The lady who took our order didnt interrupt us (a huge pet peeve of ours), she listened and called it back perfectly. The burgers came out cooked out perfectly. Juicy with the cheese melted but not running out all over the place and the burger was assembled correctly, not just shoved into the wrapper so it was half on the bun half off. It tasted great. We were impressed! We have had problems here before so this was a welcome change! read more

I am so disappointed in the diminished quality of product at this Sonic location. The drinks are not nearly as good as they once were. They taste "watered" down. The fried foods never taste fresh. And the last burgers we ordered there were served on buns that were really hard and stale. The choices of food in Highlands is such that it would not take much effort to please the community, but obviously Sonic is not very interested. On a brighter note, I ordered a Chicken sandwich a few weeks ago that was really good! But one good sandwich is not enough to bail them out this time.
