I am sitting here and ONLY pondering in my mind and thoughts of where to even start or even begin this review. I am 46 years old and have been going to Sonic several times a week and even as MUCH as daily just to get the half price drinks at happy hour as well as continually going to the same Sonic in Gulf Breeze just to have HIGH-HIGH hopes that Kris, the ASL in Gulf Breeze will be on shift. He is so very polite and helpful and one to ALWAYS go above and beyond out of his way to see that I am 100% HAPPY and ready to ALWAYS return. He is always polite and respectful and eager to HELP in anyway that he ever can. He ALWAYS has a smile and eager and HAPPY to help. In closing I do hope that Kris just may be that one ASL who has his very own Sonic store in time to come. read more

Service has been very slow to none waited 35 Min and never got acknowledged or spoken to today 7/04/26 at drive up. This is not the 1st time been going on about a month. Sometime the food is not complete like a cheese burger with just meat on it.I drove off went to McDonald and was helped at drive through in 4 minutes and on my way. The workers were terrible. We waited for a while in the drive through for no answer and when we drove up to the window, we saw the workers standing there doing absolutely nothing but talking to each other. Many cars drove away and they also were not taking online orders. I would suggest not going there especially if you're in a rush. We ended up leaving without any food or drinks. How is this place still operational?? The building is rotting and falling apart, the employees are rude and don't care, and at least one of our orders is wrong every time. We used to live within 5 minutes of a fantastic Sonic and we miss it so much. This one is awful, awful, awful. read more

Never have I ordered a hot dog with chili sauce only to receive something like tater tots. Returned meal to explain we order a hotdog with chili sauce no cheese when the lady brought 2nd meal out, I found they added chili sauce to the tater tots. $10. Better check your order before you leave. Went through the drive thru to get my daughter a hotdog and shake. Got a corn dog instead. One food item and it was wrong. Like???? How do places like this stay open? Only got a few snack items and two drinks. Drinks were fine, how can you mess up drinks I guess ...but the fries and tater tots were disgusting. The fries they call groovy fries were just tiny bits of hard crinkle fries. The tater tots looked brown like they were cooked in old grease and were soggy full of oil. Visited Sonic tonight we got our order taken pretty quickly. The employee "Lexi" was super hospitable! She explained that she would be right with us and thanked us for coming! It was pretty busy, but they still read our order off and had it out in about 10ish minutes. They also had a new seating area and it was actually pretty cute. The food was good but they got one of our orders wrong. read more

This place is hit or miss on service. The staff seem friendly but on several occasions they have gotten my order wrong, taken an excessive amount of time to fill my order or just shorted me by using excess ice in my drink or not giving me a large order of fries but using the large container for fries. The food is started Sonic fair and they do keep the area clean. read more

We sat at the speaker for 20 minutes after watching the person in front of us pulling off and when he stopped at the window the employee was rude to them. The we pulled up to one of the spots to see if anyone would acknowledge us and again no one so I went up to the window and spoke to the employee and he stated that out of three headsets only one is working so even if they have five customers, they are only processing one order at the time and if that one order takes 20 minutes to cook then that's all they're making and that I would have to go to the back of the line. My family and I have been going to the sonic for 20 years and they just lost a customer. read more

i love the food here not doubt but this fast food place i wouldn't consider it's "fast" food. Don't let the new paint and colors fool you because they gen if there's are two other cars in the drive-through with you your looking for about a 30 min wait depending on how lucky you get but for some reason over the years the lines have gotten shorter and the wait has gotten longer so if your coming to sonic for some classic American style food it's your place, but if your coming to get some quick food i wouldn't waste my time! read more

Food always taste like it's been sitting for awhile.

Horrible! Ordered from Waitr at $78 order and after an hour and a half, I called and they said it had been ready for over 30 mins but no one could bring it and we just needed to request a refund. WHAT POOR SERVICE. The guy was unapologetic and said that no one uses Waitr and we should have used DoorDash, I'm not sure what difference that makes considering the guy said he drives for sonic for both companies. read more

I love this Sonic. We go there almost every day. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I usually get their breakfast burritos. Love 'em! And the cold brew coffee is excellent. Onion rings are made fresh daily, not frozen. They recently remodeled and the place looks great. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

A convenient place for drive through, or an old school drive-in where you park your car and have the food brought out to you. Good to have the option in the time of social distancing, particularly if you have elderly or others with health concerns that want to go out for a quick meal, but would rather not do the indoor dining quite yet. Prices are affordable, although there are some higher quality gourmet burgers out there. Good place to bring family, and they had fast service as well. read more

This sonic is the reason I avoid most all Sonics as much as possible. Due to everywhere being short staffed they were literally the only place open when I get off work. Not even Walmart was open so I could cook something for myself. They gave me random things is didn't order. And they literally served this chicken. They saw this while assembling this sandwich and thought it was ok to send out. Seriously? Why? Then when I tried to call and give the business the opportunity to deal with it before I said anything negative they just let the phone ring. No voicemail. No nothing. Like seriously how does anyone with functioning eye balls serve this like it's fine? There's no way they didn't notice this was unacceptable. This is perhaps one of the worst Sonics I have ever been to. I have been here several times and gave it more chances than I should have. The service is slow, the food is usually better at other Sonics, usually not freshly made and if it is, it doesn't seem that way. The drinks are usually poorly made to where you can tell they need changing because the flavor is low. The slushees are subpar. Hit or miss, sometimes they're not bad. But it's always a chance of them being bad. And don't get me started on the people at the window. They seem soulless sometimes and others you can tell they don't want to be there. You must have to go through some "I don't wanna work anywhere" phase to be an employee here. read more

this place is VERY RUN DOWN! you can tell this place hasn't been updated in some time. half the stalls don't work (always find myself driving around multiple times trying to find a working order booth) and the ones that do have speakers that sound house. the franchise or corporate (whoever is in charge of this restaurant) really needs to spend some money to fix this place up. read more

Great customer service, horrible food. Ordered one burger with no onions and no mayonnaise. The order taker responded that they didn't even have onions in the store and the burger didn't come with mayo anyways. Waited 14 minutes to get my burgers, drove home opened the bag and found two cold hamburgers with mayo and onions on both. Awesome! I've eaten here about 50 times and the food is always poor, but the service is usual really good.
