stopped for lunch - the burgers were delicious, well cooked, and large. was happy to see a choice of fries or tots. also glad to see diet sprite offered - can't find that at all places. service was quick, and waitress that delivered to the car was nice. couldn't find anything to complain about. Good variety of items offered. Will definitely return when we want a good burger. read more

Ordered a double cheese burger with not ketchup or tomato. Recieved a burger with no mustard and no pickle. When I paid the car hop said she would be back with my change waited almost 30 mins to get my change back. Had to press the button 3 times before she brought it back. I love sonic but getting the wrong items and the slow service is annoying. read more

I live in Havre but every time I come to Great Falls I get Sonic! Sadly they didn't impress me today. My boyfriend had ordered 2 of their bacon melts and a large fry but the guy didn't hear that and he only got one bacon melt, no fries. Other than that, the rest of our order was fine and the food was good! read more

I LOVE Sonic!!! But when you are greeted by a beyond rude employee that about kills the enjoyment. We never even got to order our food. I totally understand about being stressed due to the pandemic and how it has changed eating out. Sadly, one employees rudeness ends up costing business. read more

Note to Owner, Want to know why you don't have more business? Because you leave people in charge who don't care. How do you mess up a burger? Overcooked, dried out meat pattie, toppings look as if they've been thrown from across the room, the bun is smashed as if it's had a brick set on it, delivered to the car by a person who acts like it's an inconvenience. Want a tip? I don't think I should tip for this quality or service - I do, but walk away thinking I shouldn't. I love Sonic, but won't be back to this one. Or any others that you may own. Made a trip to great falls for American treats we can't get in canada. Had to stop at Sonic's, the worker that served us was a wonderful young man and wish i got his name. I got the number 1 and it was fresh and delicious. My husband got the number 3 and it is a double and only got a single, they put like 3 pieces of bacon and that is great but the sandwich wasn't very fresh so that sucked. We had to try the hot dog and I am still talking about it, it is the best tasting hot dog I have ever tasted and wish I had one right now! Like a earlier comment by another user the debit machines are so outdated and I had to go inside to use my credit card because I didn't want my credit card out of my sight. I like that they have lots of great things on the menu which is great and maybe one day we will visit sonics again but not any time soon. read more

Then the little gal who took my money for a $3so ethics g order asked if I wanted change from a $10!!! Serious!! Then she had no ones and got her smart phone out to figure what she had to give back. Visited at 9pm to get dinner for my family. Went through drive thru, took 10 min to get my food. After getting my food, I checked it and they messed up my order. Forgot a burger and made another one wrong. I then proceeded to go and get them to make me a new one, and they seemed upset that they had to make me a new burger. Then when I got back to the house they were still messed up, they put a handful of pickles on my wife's burger, out of frustration. I will not be going to this Sonics again. read more

I wish negative stars was a thing. This place has always been horrible and yet I keep going back hoping it got a new owner. No one pays attention to the drive through, they used a dirty dish towel to wipe the lid of my cup and the food always tastes like it was made a weeks ago. The food is good and the portions are generous. The new food is always interesting and tasty. I've never had a bad meal. They ice cream desserts are yummy too. I love coming here for their drink selection. There is a drink for everyone in the world. From flavored sodas to slushies, floats to milkshakes... every flavor under the sun. There are two negatives to this place. The service is horrible, it's hard to understand them in the carhop service and in the drive through, and the drive through itself is impossible to use because of the way it's situated. They need to hire more attentive people and friendlier people. It would make the experience better. read more

Slowwww service. They didn't get the order right and didn't bring us the right amount of drinks. I also purchased a $15 gift card and it took over a half an hour to get the gift card. I was told by the carhop: "don't take offense but my managers are more worried about getting the food out than your gift card". I will never return. read more

Not sure what happened but the "new" burgers they tout are right at the most flavorless food I've ever had. Sonic used to be average but they have slipped. The novelty of the drive-in has worn off, don't waste your time here. Do the people that decide what food to sell here even bother trying it? A little tip... I'm a sucker for Cherry Limeade. Sonic has great cherry limeade, but just about everything is is sub par. It's fast food, so who cares about that really. My biggest issue is the last 3 times I've gone, my change has been shorted. I was also overcharged previously on my debit card by 87 cents to make the dollar amount even. I think the people who work there are scamming for tips. Hell no! Quit stealing my money! I am now forced to live a life devoid of cherry limeade unless I have exact change. read more

I really hate to leave a low review score on any business, but this one really was lame. My son had never been to Sonic and he loved the commercials where the food and drinks looked wonderful. So, we drove 80+ miles to have lunch at the one in Great Falls, MT. We ordered a cheeseburger and a hot dog with tater tots and fries, which took a very long time to serve, given it is a fast food place. The dog and burger were good, but we threw away the tots and fries because they were so salty they were not consumable. Honestly, they were covered by so much salt, they should have been accompanied by a coupon to the nearest hospital for heart attacks. By the time we discovered this, we were well on our way home and didn't want to go back. So we put them in a trash can. They were also not able to serve drinks that required ice cream, so we settled on an orange slush, which was so sweet it was almost impossible to consume. That made 2 of 3 items in our orders that had to be disposed of. I'm really disappointed with the Great Falls Sonic. We will not return. Ever. Too bad, because the Sonic I visited in the mid-west was wonderful...but not in any way the same in GF. read more
