Eric, Hailey and the crew did a phenomenal job.. there was some confusion but in the end they made it right. This crew is amazing.!.!

Smasher meal was ordered with vanilla Dr Pepper. They were out of onion rings, cheese sticks, tots, popper so they only had fries. They were also out of vanilla syrup. Changed my order to just to smasher. Burger I wanted lettuce tomato pickle cheese and smasher sauce. No onion. I got pickles cheese and smashed sauce and two patties so over cooked and hard they were not edible. Total cost just under $8. W / tip $10 for something that I basically ate the three pickles off of and threw in the thrash. My 4.5 lb Morkie wouldn't even eat the patties. read more

The service was great but on the food they are stingy on everything barely any cheese on cheese fries with extra cheese one thing needs to be fixed and that is on the food one little tiny piece of cheese will not cover all the fries it will probably cover half the fries the other half is just fries and I ordered a burger with no onion and still find onion on it do better read more

I ordered chicken tenders, a pretzel stick thing, two plain vanilla ice cream cups, and a milkshake. The chicken tenders were overcooked. The pretzel thing tasted like it had been deep fried in the same oil they used to cook the chicken. The vanilla ice cream tasted a little weird, as if they hadn't cleaned the ice cream machine for a while. The milkshake was acceptable. all in all, a very unenjoyable experience. I probably won't be ordering from these guys again. read more

I have been waiting 25 minutes for 5 drinks. We had ordered ahead of time. I will not ever be back.

The absolute slowest Sonic I've ever been to period. For two drinks and a breakfast burrito, AT BREAKFAST, was almost a 20 minute wait. All the time, the staff are seen inside moving at a snails pace, with one guy even going next door to what I guess was his home, coming back three minutes later. I left before my food got out. Ridiculous. Change the name of this one to subsonic....better yet, just call it slow. read more

Good food but some times the ice cream machine is broken and it is expensive and not that many options

Left out part of the order Ordered unsweet tea, received sweet tea Order #4 with bacon, no bacon received When the order is $50 there needs to be some sort of quality control. I'm sure I'm not the only one and I know they are young people mostly just starting out, but there needs to be an adult in the room. read more

They were out of corndogs and offered to refund my money. After a week, I called back and they claimed they submitted the refund. I never received the refund. I emailed corporate twice, and my email went ignored. I messaged them on Facebook. It was ignored. I posted a reply on one of their posts. It was also ignored. I understand that it's a small amount, but it's the point that they stole money from me and ignored my request for a refund. read more

Absolutely terrible! I'm not kidding this place is the worst Sonic I've ever been to. Constantly out of food. Terrible customer service! Today I took my family to get ice cream, after waiting 30 minutes for 4 mini shakes. I go ask what the heck's going on? When they finally bring the shakes out I find they did something to my 9yr old son's cheesecake shake. It was bad! Not sure what they put in it but you couldn't even smell it without it making you almost sick. I took it in to the manager and he said if I didn't like I can get the hell off his property! He said it was a strawberry cheesecake and nothing was wrong with it. It wasn't strawberry! He refused to smell it or even look at it! He just argued and said it was strawberry and that if I didn't like it I can get off his property. They put something in my 9 year old shake! This little coward of a manager has no idea how badly his stupid decisions will affect him, but he will learn. read more

Zero stars need to be an option. This place can't get anything right. It seems to get worse every time I try to come here. I ordered in the app. Checked in when I got there. Then waited for 25 minutes for 5 blasts. Finally I checked on it. They said the ice cream machine was broken and it with be another 15 minutes. When I asked for a refund the guy was rude. Then I waited another 10 minutes and had to ask again for a receipt for my refund. This has to be the worse Sonic in America. I will never go to this Sonic again. read more

I just had a really bad experience at the Sonic in Gatesville, TX. At 3:45 pm. The manager is an a**hole. We had to wait 30 minutes for them to change a messed up soft drink order and they said it was still going to take longer than that?!?!? Meanwhile people that came in way after us were getting their drinks and food. The manager just told me to go file a complaint! So I am. read more

Over 20 minutes for two drinks and then she forgets our straws. (9:30 am.) I had to finally go in and get them because she kept us waiting even longer to bring the straws! Worst sonic ever! Just by pass and go to McDonald's! read more

DO NOT give this location any type of credit or debit card. Use the app. They lost our card and then took zero responsibility for it. Helped them look for it for over 15 minutes. Had to cancel my card and pay a fee and now wait on a new card. . Called back to see if they found it and asked to speak to a manager who truly had nothing to say when I asked questions. Silence. Unbelievably irresponsible and unprofessional. read more

Just left this sonic without a large Dr. Pepper that I ordered because they said I ordered a medium and the carhop REFUSED to bring me a large regardless of payment or reason. She denied me twice and blatantly refused the third time and said I'd have to talk to a manager while walking away. I called the sonic and spoke to the manager, " Doc" but he was of no help. So here I sit with the medium drink in the beat up cup that they made me take. OH...!! And it took over 20 minutes to get it!!! #goatsville read more

Sonic Drive-In - Beat ass, medium Dr. pepper. - Burgers Near Me - Gatesville, Texas

Honestly just awful. I really think the only way this sonic is ever going to get any better at all, is for everyone to stop going. The very least they can do is provide fresh food that is hot. Not old refried and dirty food. The food is old, burned and so full of old oil, it looks like it has pepper and seasoning all over it. But that's just old fried bits of burned food refried into the food you just ordered. It is inedible and a waste of time and money to even try anymore. read more

About the only fast food place in town that will. Actually get your order right most of the time.

This location has gone down hill, the food use to be great but now the employees just don't care about the job and would rather socialize with friends. The orders never come out right and the burgers taste like they have been sitting under a light. They get one star because I have to give them something. read more

I'm only giving one star because I had to. The girl that brought our food was sweet and great and that was all the good in my review. Now the food. The food was horrible. The burgers we got seemed to have been sitting around for hours. They were cold and the lettuce was wilted. Bad! I only ate mine because I was hungry. The fries ... the worst. You could tell they really had been sitting around, maybe since yesterday. They were cold and hard. Couldn't eat them. But the worst, as if it couldn't get any worse, was what came out of the bag which I am saving to take to the manager. Would you believe they put in our bag a piece and I MEAN a PIECE of a piece (half eaten?) of their "Sonic" red & white candies in the wrapper and one end of the wrapper half twisted just to barely keep it in the wrapper. It really looks like someone took a bite out of it then put the rest back in the wrapper. Gross! Extremely disappointed, Sonic. Won't be going back for a long time. read more

I can't order from this sonic without getting a burger that has had onions on it. I can taste when a burger has had onions on it and just had them scraped off. I can't eat a burger that's had an onion anywhere near it. If you hate onions as much as I do you may want to avoid eating here, or at least don't order a hamburger. I hardly go here for this reason and I happen to love sonic. read more

So sorry for inconvenience i cause Lillian today. My order of 3 burgers, 3 popcorn chicken, 3 tots and a fry plus 9 drinks was out of line. I guess that Sonic doesn't like making money. After each item i got a big sigh and anything else. Then she managed to have 2 of the 3 popcorn chicken disappear from my order. Good thing i checked before i left. Then the poor car hop had to make several trips because guess what.. No sauce that i had asked for. She comes back and says i can't give you more the max is 3 for 2 chickens... Uhm ok, but i actually now have my 3 chickens sitting here so i need more sauce. This is my 3rd visit to this store. Each time the service is horrible. I won't be back. Go a bit farther to DQ. It's better and the employees there actual understand customer service. read more
