I have been eating at Sonic my entire life, which has been long, across multiple states, and this is the absolute worst Sonic I have ever visited. The staff that was working the evening of 9/6/26 needs to be terminated - immediately. They are giving Sonic a bad name. I ordered food for the family at the drive through and the young lady taking our order was extremely rude, disrespectful, and incompetent. We did not need super nice, we get it, you were projecting "I hate my job" vibes, but take our order, take it right and move on. We arrived at the pickup window and 4 people did not know where our order was at and then to call my husband by the wrong name, thinking he's picking up an order. It's not rocket science. We just came through the drive through. Perhaps start there when looking for the order. We never paid or got our food, they were still looking and eventually we told them to forget it and drove off. I've lost hope in humanity dealing with this closing crew. Owner or mgmt. need to address ASAP for the success of their business. Whatever you do, keep driving as far as it takes to get to the next Sonic and pass this one up. read more

$17 for a cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard a large fry and a sprite. What'd I get? This is repulsive & absurd to serve to anyone. read more

What a joke, tried to get a breakfast sandwich this morning. With bacon. Must have asked me 5 times if it had bacon or sausage. It will be right out I was told15. Minutes later, the girl saw me waiting, sticks her head out the door and says did you order? Yes, was my answer, what was the name? She says. You never asked my name I say. Ducked in the door, and that was it. Needless to say never got the sandwich! read more

Messed up order after waiting 30 minutes in a line that only had 1 car in front of me. Claimed it was due to a new system. At this point Forney is filled with recycled incompetence, unprofessional trash of fast food workers. Ordered my food ahead, checked in and sat and waited for everyone arrive after me get their food.. Granted they may have ordered their food ahead like I did and just happened to arrive moments later. But to watch someone order through the stall and his food delivered before me, is aggreativing. The ONLY reason I received my food because I had to yell out,"where is my food!?" To have been staring at in through the window and no one thought to put one and one together. Food is cold, but I'll be contacting my bank and getting a refund. read more

My son bugged me all day to stop at Sonic to redeem his free slushy coupon he earned from school for good behavior only to be told that he had to redeem it at the Sonic where he got the coupon. The coupon has no location on it. After telling the manager that he received it from school she repeated the same thing. Way to crush a kids hopes. I then had to go out of my way to the next closest sonic to buy him a slush because now I refuse to give them my money. My favorite spot to be when I need a drink.. every thing always fresh they are fast pace

My visit to this particular Sonic location was great, our food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the service was what one would expect from a fast food chain, All in all, I was happy. With that said if you're reading this you've probably noticed this location only has a two-star rating but I would like to mention that something I always do before writing a review is have it look at other people's reviews for that location to kind of gauge if my experience was similar to theirs or in some cases completely different. Right off the bat, I noticed this particular Location had quite a few negative reviews which didn't make sense at first because my experience was as I said earlier "great". upon further inspection I noticed most of the bad reviews and complaints stemmed from a much earlier time in the location's history, from what I could tell it was from about 2015 through 2021 but after that, the reviews were more positive leading me to believe there was probably a change in management or employees that have led to higher standards, service, and experience. I could be wrong and your experience may be completely different but I like to be as honest as possible and call them as I see them and it appears to me this location has made a turnaround for the better In the last couple of years. I will update this review if and when I dine at this Sonic location again to let you know if it was a fluke or continuing good experience read more

The food is as good as any fast food can be. The employees are incredibly rude. The drive up speaker doest work well and they blast music making ordering almost impossible. When I told them I could not hear them because of the loud music and terrible speaker the order taker got angry and yells then cut off the conversation before I was done with my order . The delivery person was equally rude. Then they tried to deliver the order a second time and got mad at me over their mistake . This behavior shows poor management. Drive thru employees are listening to music and on their phones instead of helping customers. Waited for 5 minutes on someone to help us, ended up using the car station. They got the order wrong. This is a horrible location. No employee cares. Orders are often wrong. I have been lied to multiple times as employees posing as managers. Refused to take my info to give to the general manager for contact. Been here many times and have not had a single positive experience. It is well worth the drive to McClendon-Chisholm for amazing service and quality food. Don't waste your time or money supporting this terrible location. read more

Terrible service. Waited over 45 minutes for two drinks and one order of mozzarella sticks. Asked one of the staff what was wrong. After apology and further waiting brought wrong order twice before getting correct order. They Didn't know how much my order was. Paid them cash what was initially told to me. They said leave name and next time I will get a free order. I told two different girls twice and never wrote my name. Called store after leaving 45 minutes later. Even though I was being very nice whole time, I was treated rudely and was hung up on. Never going to this sonic again. read more

Service has gown way down. Messed up order again. Told young man to cut the lettuce and he replied lettuce is already cut before putting on burger. Fuck this sonic. I knew they were busy I understand. I pressed button and waited. After 15 minutes I pressed it again. They answered and asked what I'd like. Route 44 Dr Pepper please...... no response. Hello? Hello? Nothing after 5 minutes I pressed it again. Was asked what I'd like. Rt 44 DP please. "Can you repeat that sir?" Yes, RT 44 DP please. You said a medium? No maam a route 44 please. "We don't have that, you can get a medium or large" large is fine please. After 15 minutes "order is on the way" after another 10 minutes I go to the door and beg for my Dr Pepper as I'd already paid and tipped a dollar. I get my Dr Pepper and it is unusually thick. Needless to say I tossed it. I just don't know what to say. My server was Zya. read more

I grew up loving to go to sonic and in recent years have been very disappointed at most establishments but my visit today gave me some hope at the forney location! All of the employees were hustling in the classic sonic way that car hops would. The intercom at my drive up spot did not work but an employee immediately came out to take my order and was very polite. My order came out quickly and with everything I asked for! Now, I don't expect sonic to have gourmet food, I get mozzarella sticks and a sonic blast so it's a very easy order but I actually got both my dipping sauces and even the peppermint in my bag. This location also has a playground which is a plus for kids! read more

I ordered a drink and cheese tots through the app. I sat there at the stall for 15 minutes waiting, then after checking for an update on my drink and tots, it took another 15 minutes. The drive-in girl was very friendly and did a good job. I go to Sonic for their drinks...most specifically the Diet Cherry Limeade! What in the world is going on with the Sonic in Forney. I went through the drive thru @ 8am on a Sunday Morning. There was only 3 cars in the drive thru including mine & about 3 in the stalls. I just wanted a cup of ice (Very Simple). I waited & waited. Literallly after 5 minutes of sitting there with no response on the speaker, I said "Hello". I listened for another couple of minutes with no response so drove off. I decided to pull into a stall just for a cup of ice. I was able to place my order for a cup of ice. After 10 minutes of sitting there waiting for just for a cup of ice. I said "screw it" and left. I don't know who owns the Sonic in Forney & who manages it. But they need to pull their head out of there $&#. And retrain the employees about how customer service comes 1st. I'm done with this Sonic. WAKE UP SONIC IN FORNEY!! read more

Usually look forward to going to Sonic these days since we seldom go anywhere. Tonight I ordered the new cheesesteak sandwich which was a mistake. Not good. Dry meat - no juice at all, meat didn't fill up the footling bun, only saw a few onion pieces, cheese was sparse. The tots on top were ok and the bun was ok, but not as fresh as I've had on the coneys. Didn't even finish it and I'm not super picky with fast food. I'll stick with the burgers and coneys from now on. Service was fine. read more
