I'm a doordash driver and I waited 40 mins in a stall to be told that I was supposed to go in the drive through even though I was told that they would bring the food out soon. They have always been awful at time management skills. When a man went to go see what was going on why it was taking so long. There were 2 employees working one was doing nothing just smoking in the building. The other was kinda doing stuff better than the one doing nothing but still. To be honest, after reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little hesitant to dine here. But my family and I were pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger, which was huge and quite tasty. (He let me have a bite.) He also ordered onion rings, which were also very good. In fact, they had a slight sweet taste to them, which I enjoyed. I ordered the BLT Toaster, which I really enjoyed, even though after sampling my husband's burger I had wished I ordered one of those instead. My son ordered corn dogs and tater tots, which he said were excellent. The star of the meal, however, was the Oreo Cheesecake Master Shake I had for dessert. Yum, yum, yum! So why 4 stars and not five? Service was rather slow, and our order was finally taken, the person on the other end of the speaker couldn't hear us very well. That minor inconvenience aside, we enjoyed our experience at Sonic and will happily return in the future. I highly recommend that you stop in sometime and give the burgers and shakes a try. If I could give zero stars I would. First of all I pulled up to a slot and I started ordering and the lady cut me off in the middle of my sentence and yelled at me to pull around to the drive thru. when I pulled to the drive-through I started ordering and she was very rude to me. I asked for a fries with cheese sauce on the side. And she asked in a very rude tone so you want cheese fries? Obviously, I want cheese fries, but I would like the cheese sauce on the side. Thank you. I pull up to the window. It takes 10 minutes to get my food. My friend asked for a water. they gave her a Coke instead. She doesn't like Coke. I gave her my card and she gave me the receipt. This will come back around at the end of the story. we checked our food, I ordered two pickle fries. Two of them. Only got one. And they gave us no ranch and no fork to eat my chili dog. I reversed all the way back through the drive-through. I went back up to the window. I asked them for ranch forks, and my pickle fries. Only to receive two ranch, a regular side of fries and no fork, so i had to eat my chili dog with a spoon . Mind you when I pull back up to the window, she said thank God you came back through because I didn't even charge you for your order. when I went to leave after I finished my food, I saw that lady sitting at a picnic table eating my pickle fries. Went to pick it up and a girl came out and said I can give you your slushie but we are out of cheese sticks until tomorrow. I was waiting for her to offer me something else. This is the only sonic in Etown. They have friendly service, however they never seem to get the orders right unless you order a simple drink. I ordered a jr Oreo buster and they made it to order but there was a piece French fry in the whip cream. Once again this is to be expected here now, hopefully they will work on that. read more

This is the worst sonic ever. If you go here plan on waiting 30 to 45 minutes per order. Unless you catch them when they don't have anybody in the parking lot. Seems like they wait on the customers that park quicker than they wait on the drive-through. Im assuming they do this so they can make a tip. When I got up to the window the lady stated it was only two of them working. So obviously they need more help but I know help is hard to come by these days. If this location keeps it up I see it being shut down in the next year. read more

Please pass this along: BOYCOTT E-TOWN SONIC. Terrible service and coflict resolution. Original order (3 burger meals - $27) was screwed up. No burger was dressed. My single w/o cheese came out a dbl w/ cheese & bacon! They remade the burgers (still minimal problems). Got home & found out they ran our card TWO more times @ $18 ea. time. Ken had even given a tip = $41! Unapologetically the manager, Dennis Downs, said if we can bring in the bank records he would reimburse us. On his way in to work Nicholas stopped by with the bank record & asked for the manager. They sent out a female asst. mnger. Nicholas, not liking conflict, didn't question it. She sent him away w/ a phone # for resolution. I was livid. I called for the manager they put a female on the phone! I said I want the 'manager - Dennis'. Dennis said no one was by asking 4 him. The asst mngr. said she never spoke to anyone about a dispute & that is the manager's job to approve such action. Either the manager was hiding or they were protecting him. Now he said WE could come back out (30 min) today and speak to him directly. This is now a situation that goes beyond monetary. Someone needs a reprimand or firing. This location could be much better. Numerous times I have ordered a Cherry Limeaid, and there is no cherry. Today was no exception. Ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it, fries, and a cherry limeaid. Today, much the same. Service was pretty quick and all the food was there. However, no cherry in the cherry limeaid, cheeseburger had only mustard on it, no ketchup or mayo, and the fries were just barely warm and tasted old. This was at 5:12PM. By far one of the worst restaurant experiences o have ever had. Drive thru was closed due to system being down yet the drive up stalls worked. Ordered a #2. The tots were hard and cold. The burger literally had to be strong out for hours as it was ice cold and hard as well. They decided to turn off the lights in us 20 mins before closing. Ordered food to go.
