My step mom order chocolate, chocolate chip. Thinking it's going to be chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips. Nope. It was vanilla with chocolate chips and chocolate syrup. No biggy. Service was great and the woman working for nice. We ate inside and it was very clean and quiet. The bathroom is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. I had to clean the toilet off before I sat down. And the inside of it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. Went to flush the toilet and the handle was broke. I thought I would try and open the tank and flush it and it wouldn't fill up with water. Very unfortunate.

After enjoying a meal around the corner from here, I decided to stop in for a "sweet retreat" with an excitement and joy to discover well sized macarons on the menu. Price is fair for size and location. Their brookies and brownies are jaw dropping when you see their size. We were so full from lunch that I couldn't fathom anything more than what we bought. I will definitely be back again soon.

We spent two full evenings learning how to perfectly scope an exact quantity of ice cream in every scoop before we even opened and got to eat all that ice cream we practiced scooping. Back in those days the menu was much simpler but we did have the 31 flavors and it may be funny but my favorite flavor is still one of the old reliables, Pralines n Cream. I am a bit of a minimalist. I recently returned to the store and tried my old favorite ice cream and to check out the place for nostalgia reasons. It felt very comfortable being back inside the shop. Physically the shop was almost the same as when it was brand new; however, the menu had greatly expanded and they had modern items besides ice cream, sherbet, sundaes, and banana splits, that were all I had to deal with when the store was brand new. The ice cream is still quite good and everyone I came into contact with was very nice. I enjoyed my nostalgic visit here and will come back.

Chick Fil A is beating your brains out in Bardstown & that's too bad because your stores on the left coast serve quality product. I'm not being tough on your fries to be mean, either. Fact is - super skinny style potatoes need to be served fresh & piping hot. Yet every time we've been here, they are cold & flavorless. One more thing - your ice cream & custard & shakes etc. are good and all, but they lack consistency. We've yet to get two of the same concretes that were made the same. She ended up crying and had to walk away while the manager just stood there like it was normal. The place is filthy, and the management clearly doesn't know how to lead or respect their team.
