The girl who greeted us had to recite the menu. The place was disgustingly filthy. Every surface appears to have been wiped down with a dirty wet rag. Floors appeared to have been mopped with a greasy mop. Condiments weren't stocked. There were no lids for drinks. The food was messy. Onion rings were overcooked and inedible. No one was there to eat at noon on a Sunday. It used to be packed. I guess I'm the last to decide to never go back. Clearly whoever owns it gave up some time ago. I can't wait to see what opens there when this place inevitably locks its doors.

I thanked her and I stood up and offered to grab them myself but she insisted I sit and enjoy the food and she politely got the ketchup n stuff for me. She smiled and said if there was anything else I needed to just ask. I go for the fries.. fresh n hot! A+ I take a bite of the burger and WOW! It was HOT and the ingredients were fresh too. Onions nice n crunchy! Lettuce n tomatoes were crisp n zesty! Even the bread was fresh! Crazy, I know. So as I was eating I was watching how customers came in and knew her by name, and how she greeted everyone with a warm smile. Her staff was mostly school kids but they acted and worked cheerfully. To me that says a lot about not only the quality of the work environment, but also how it shines through in the product itself. I wanted so badly to compliment the manager directly but they were busy and i was pressed for time. Figured I'd give them a solid review. I am having a hard time justifying what we paid for the experience so I doubt we will return to this location soon.

I'd like to find something on the menu that wows me so that we become regulars too, but so far it's coming in at just satisfactory. Since we don't allow ourselves many treat meals, the calories really have to be worth it to keep coming back. We'll give it a few more tries. Our servers were extremely friendly.
