I go inside and the girl behind the counter (not the one making the sandwiches) is on her phone talking to someone about what streaming service she was going to pay for or something like that. When I went to order she kept being rude and cutting me off. I went and got a drink from the machine and it tasted like the carbonation had run out. I would have brought it up to the girl but her conversation was apparently the most important thing in the world at the time. I got my sandwich shortly after and before I could walk away with it the girl making the sandwich needed it back because she "forgot something". Apparently what she forgot was to drown my sandwich in bbq sauce making it completely inedible. I can only assume this stems from a problem a lot of businesses are having where they hire young workers and then proceed to not hold them accountable for basic rules of business like customer service. I'll just go to one of the many other sandwich places from now on. It's a shame how bad this place has gone.

GREAT EVERY TIME…read more Firehouse subs is definitely one of the sandwich spots we can always count on to have great service and great food. And in the Starkville location you're definitely not disappointed. We are always greeted properly and have our food within a few minutes of ordering. Often times we get takeout and never have any issue. They do follow CDC regulations and guidelines correctly and their price point is always reasonable. This location is always kept very clean and in good order.

By no means is this a good value. I ordered cucumbers and bacon added and it barely weighed 6 ounces. When I picked up the bag I had to stop and lift the lid to see if there was anything in there. A ton of lettuce and meat chopped so small you couldn't tell what it was. I'm going to get some wings or something to help me complete this meal. Please just stop!!!! The workers were talking to each other about personal stuff paying little attention to the order. I'm done. Never again!

I called the store and was told that the order may have accidentally been delivered to my neighbor. I checked - nothing. Three hours later (while I was at work) someone from the store called to inform me that my order was delivered to South Montgomery (on the other side of town - no where near my house). In their defense, they did ask if I wanted the order redone (by now I was no where near my house) and... nothing. I filed a complaint online and... nothing. No refund, no apology, nothing. And it was over $50.00 worth of food - just gone. I might as well start sending my business Jersey Mike's way, since they seem to at least care.

Waffle House - Starkville…read more I've been to more Waffle Houses than I can count across six states, and they always seem to range from awful to fantastic -- consistency isn't exactly their strong suit. That said, the Starkville Waffle House really impressed me today. Even though the place was packed, every booth and table full, and a few of the staff clearly new on the job, everyone was attentive and friendly. My double hashbrowns "all the way" were cooked perfectly, and my Mr. Pibb never ran dry thanks to the quick refills. It did take a little while to get someone to handle checkout as the line started backing up, but once they noticed, things moved smoothly again. Overall, a great experience -- one of the better Waffle Houses I've visited!

The food was tasting was surprisingly bad. The regular sandwich was actually somehow filled with water in the package. The taste had no taste somehow. The fries were seriously tasting like they'd been created in the past bc they had no taste either. A surprise was that ever the sip of the CocaCola was actually zero flavor. I still would never stop here again just bc that actually zero flavor of a single thing I got. It was unfortunately negative compared to basic Chick-fil-A places all around. Maybe they were in a situation where their equipment wasn't working that day so they had to use some old stuff somehow.
