Brother (CHARLES) is a Vietnam Veteran who bought the buisness when he got out of the service in 1970, Thanksgiving Day & has been serving the locals & passersby ever since. He has also diversified his business by offering a catering service for weddings, banquets & social events in the local area. They have tons of different cheeses and olives and different Calandros brand goodies. Their produce is always fresh and reliable. They don't tend to cater to special diets, so if you have special dietary needs or restrictions, you may have to go to another store for those. They have a large bit of everything, from snacks and beverages, tobacco products, a nice wine and spirit offering, and gift items. Shop rite always has great gasoline prices, which makes this my first choice in fueling up my ride. This location additionally is next to Mommie's ( i know, the name threw me for a loop too) and though I haven't actually been there yet, I've heard some nice things about it. I also had the pleasure to meet this family again at a local pop up market and learned their lemonade is actually in a number of local stores!! You can taste the freshly squeeze lemons in this beverage. The sugar comes in to tone down the sour but don't worry-- it's not overly sweet, sugary, or syrup-y (if that makes sense). Every sip tastes like you bough a cup from a homemade lemonade stand but in a bottle. Because I feel this lemonade is at a happy medium, I think everyone should give it a try where'd you are more of a sweet lemonade person or tart lemonade person.
