I'm a trucker and parked behind the sonic in bend, and I was so excited to get some food besides mickey ds. Got tots and cheese and a double bacon cheese burger. The tots had cheese on half the tots and the meat on my burger was from the day before. The tater tots were bitter after 2 bites, they tasted like crap. The burger had no flavor at all. We ordered 3 milkshakes. Chocolate oreo, strawberry cheesecake, and peanut butter. After a 20 minute wait we got a strawberry milkshake with a dollop of peanut butter ontop???, a vanilla , and a strawberry cheesecake with the majority of the shake spilt all over the side of the cup. We asked for some napkins not knowing yet that two of our shakes were the wrong flavor . Barhop then came back with 3 napkins..... Then after we sipped our shakes we noticed the flavors were wrong. Had to go inside and after being handed the wrong shakes 3 more times we finally ended up with the right shakes after some poking and prodding. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Terrible. Usually don't get the right amount of change and when I ask them to correct that mistake they're rude about it. They almost always fuck up my order. It's either getting me the wrong size or the wrong ingredients or the wrong order altogether. Get your shit together guys. read more

Today I felt like a limeade so I pulled into line at 2:05 and the line was moving very slow but I stayed in line and I was handed my limeade at 2:34 . I think that's a long time in a fast food line for a drink and it had no lime. Very disappointing read more

Not only did they put the "fast" in fast-food, but they were efficient, clean, and the food was delicious. Terrible drive through service. Either the speaker doesn't work or they were really distracted inside. We came here twice in one weekend. Both times we had to repeat the order multiple times and they wouldn't listen...then get back on the speaker after a long pause to ask for the order again. The last time the debit/credit card service was down but I don't necessarily blame them for that....just found it frustrating after having already repeated our order 3 times. read more

Normally I get good food at Sonic. Eventually I may get one item that leaves something to be desired. This time all three items I ordered were absolutely disgusting. The onion rings were oily with an overly sweet taste (as if sugar was used in place of salt, the mozzarella sticks too were oily and overly salted and the bacon cheese burger toaster oddly tasted of cinnamon and had almost zero barbecue sauce. I assume the cinnamon was the result of an incorrectly cleaned griddle from the morning french toast. The only thing that tasted as expected was the complimentary (pre-packaged) marinara for the cheese sticks. I would like to recognize that during this pandemic it is difficult for businesses especially medical, food and grocery. But to have only 1 out of 3 items be suitable for consumption is unacceptable. I should have went with my gut and order from five guys, perhaps my gut wouldn't be in the distress that it is as I am writing this review. read more

This is also in regards to the south location. Just went there for the first time at that location a half hour ago, have gone to many in California before and always had great food. However this location the food was bad. First, the coney dog we ordered was extremely small, in the past they were larger. I ordered a junior cheeseburger and asked for no mayo as I cannot stand it! She understood and I proceeded to the cashiers window where they repeated my order correctly so it was written down. I received my order and went home. Just to add they were not busy at all. When I opened my burger at home low and behold there was mayo all over it! So now I have a burger I can't eat and I don't want to have to go back again. Ok, I know some people are not going to get why I am so upset over mayo, but for me it is the most disgusting thing you could put on a burger or sandwich. If a restaurant or burger joint can't accommodate me just tell me and I will order something else. But to get ready to eat and be disappointed because the cook couldn't take the time to read the damn order really pisses me off! read more

Worst service ever! They served us a chicken sandwich with one side completely dry. My grandmother went back up to the counter and they took over 5 minutes eventually a manager came out and asked again what she wanted. And then before he went to do it he said "are you sure?" We sat In The drive through for 30 minutes just trying to order a snack and a shake for both my husband and I. While we waited the people behind us got angry and started becoming visually upset that it was taking us so long to order. The man over the intercom repeatedly cussed and snapped at us to "hold on" because HE couldn't find a shake that I asked for in his register. Might I mention that We had OUR SON in the backseat while he is talking this way. Eventually he turned off his speaker while my husband and I asked if he was still there, so we ended up saying "never mind" and going to Dairy Queen instead. HORRIBLE service. Tonight we went in to get shakes for our family and we went to the drive in part. Melissa was the lady on the intercom and she was absolutely rude to me. Acted like I was a bother to her. I ordered the shakes given they were kind if complicated I told her slowly and clearly. After I was done ordering she said my total and I was like wait and nothing she was off of it. I pressed the button again and she said "ok what else do you want" and I ordered my last thing and kindly asked her to read back my order and she gave me the worst attitude like it was so hard. I just wanted to make sure my order was right because everytime I go in there they screw something up. I'm pretty sure Melissa is the manager and maybe they should get a new manager if you can't be respectful to customers giving you there money. read more

It's sonic. The food is good, they make it fast, but you're going to pay more than you think you ought to because it's fast food. The prices are comparable to Arby's, McDonald's, and Wendy's. Their shakes, slushes, and other crazy drinks are great, and if you go during happy hour, it's going to cost you next to nothing. Also, it is a unique experience because it's a drive-in. read more

Me and my wife were felling perfectly fine all day UNTIL we got two breakfast sandwiches around 1130pm. About n hour after eating my sandwich I started throwing up violently and had explosive diarrea for the next 24hours i was so sick at one point we considered taking me to the hospital. I missed a days work and am now for the first time since eating the breakfast sandwich getting out of bed. Its been almost 36 hours and I have gotten out of bed for the first time. And I am eating some dry toast, my first meal since the sandwich. My wife also had diarrea the entire time. I have always been a fan of sonic but this will keep me away for awile. A side note the lights you guys have inside are the most depressing lights I have every seen in a resturant. The poor employees look like there in a horror movie. Went through Drive-Up two days ago. While waiting, watched an employee bump a soda cup onto the floor and proceeded to pick it up and replace it on the stack. My tater tots were not hot and had shredded lettuce in them and my cheeseburger was mildly warm. While I spoke to the window employee about the cup, I am not sure the problem was taken care of. I felt the employees were not professional and was too disappointed to drive back around to get hotter food. After all, one goes through the drive up due to convenience and speed. read more

We occasionally hit up this location for a last minute meal. Tonight we went in and had the craziest service ever. They had to put our meal on two tickets because we ordered drinks about 3 minutes after placing our original order. No biggie. But the poor girl that was the car hop had NO support from the assistant manager in duty. She asked him for help multiple times and he never once helped. We ended up accidentally getting charged twice. They forgot two of our burgers so I went to talk to the manager. He was disheveled and clearly not managing his job very well. He snapped at his employees twice in front of me while I was standing there..they were just asking questions that clearly needed answers. The sweet girl that was the car hop was so stressed because her manager offered zero support. I hope she gets a raise and that the manager kid gets handled correctly. Twice I have ordered very simple things (burger and fries) and both times they have managed to mess it up. Me and my family were looking for a quick bite to eat when coming across sonic and decided to go there. When we first got there one of their automatic menus wasn't working and we had to move to another menu. Which was no big deal.finally after placing our order one of the employees brought our food. As he brought out the food we started smelling marijuana on the employee. If that wasn't bad enough they got our order wrong. But instead of apologizing they told us to pay more money even though when the guy gave us the order he read off the items they were all right but the incorrect things were in the bag. After ask for the manager in hopes for an apology the manager comes to talk to use and when started telling him our experience he started giving a bad attitude and walked away.
