Confused, we asked about the discrepancy, and the staff casually said, "Oh, that's just tax." But after doing the math (8.25% combined state and city tax), that just didn't add up-it should've been $0.61 in tax, not nearly $3 more. We went back in to get clarification, only to be told that the cone prices had recently increased by $1 each. Even with that adjustment, the math still didn't work. It feels like they're just making up numbers and overcharging customers, which is incredibly frustrating. It's a shame because we're in town all week and had planned to come back nightly, but after this experience, we won't be returning at all. There's at least two other employees there that I can see - a girl and a boy. At one point the girl is in front of the counter cleaning and doing what seems to be closing procedures, but mind you it's only about 8PM at this point. The other guy is doing who knows what. I get there are other tasks to do, but for heavens sake take care of the customers, especially the line to the door first. Otherwise you won't have customers.
