We are new to the area and were excited to find a Sonic near our new home. I've been so disappointed. This is the slowest Sonic EVER!!!! I always feel as if I'm troubling the employees too. This is a very unfriendly lot!! Where we used to be loyal Sonic patrons, we avoid this place like the plague. It's worth a drive across town! read more

Not very satisfied with the service and how my order was not made to order. I reviewed the order, had the order revised and still it came out bad. Something needs to change and it usually should start at the top. read more

For the last two nights i've tried to come get a shake at sonic 40 minutes before they close but every time they say they can't make shakes because their machine is down! This sonic location is awful! read more

Okay, so I get a few bucks thinking I'm gonna enjoy the food brought to me, wrong. My bf is gluten intolerant, so he gets just a burger without the buns, we get the food, he is only give. 2 patties with cheese everywhere inside the wrapping. I paid for the vegetables to be on it, why would I pay $8 for 2 patties with cheese? I wouldn't. Ever since then I've personally been sick since that day. Nauseas and shitting my brains out. Sonic on Clack is a joke and I'll never go back! read more

Okay. So I know this is Sonic so I can't expect much. First off, I drove up to the drive thru and asked for a small cookie dough master blast with extra cookie dough. It was as if I was speaking another language. The employee was so confused he had to ask a coworker to help. So, we finally got that figured out. I paid and waited for my ice cream. Note: extra cookie dough costs more money (only 30 cents). So I get my master blast and drive off. When I get home, I'm so stoked to dive into it but then I realized, there's no cookie dough in it. None at all, even though I paid for more. I wasn't too happy. Like I said, this is a fast food place so I can't expect much. But after the employees not knowing what I was talking about (even though it's right there on the menu) and coming home to find it wrong, I was disappointed. read more

Visited this sonic and received food poisoning. I called to warn them so others wouldn't have the same experience and the manager didn't believe me. Usually my experiences are decent here, but that one is enough to pass on this sonic from here on out. read more

Last time we came here the workers were inside eating and touching food after wiping there mouths and stuff, and today they aren't selling us ice and ran out of everything else we ordered. Do they not sell anything they advertise!?! read more

The only reason it is given 1 star is because it won't take no stars. I ordered a large banana/pineapple shake, but when I got home with it there was none of those items in it. This the worst one I've ever been to. This was the 1st and last time for me at the S Clack location. read more

I normally don't write reviews and am usually pretty easy to please, but the service at this particular Sonic is AWFUL. An order of 3 drinks, one chili cheese dog, popcorn chicken and a corn dog took 30 minutes. AND we only got our food because I pulled out of the carhop space and went in and asked about it!! Come on man!! Black balled for sure!! read more

This Sonic is okay. The employees hate working there and they are sure to let you know it. The food is good and the wait depends on who is working but you never know so it varies too much. If I'm waiting for more than 6min. then I will tell them I have to go, sometimes they will tell me that they are on their way out - sometimes they just apologize. I go here too much lol I just go to "junk out" sometimes. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. EVERY TIME, we come to this location it seems the employees are so undertrained. I've had one employee block our menu to use one of the card swipe. YET, NEVER SAID EXCUSE ME, or MAY I GET IN THE WAY FOR A SECOND. NOTHING! Far too many times they have messed up my order. Too many times they don't listen or repeat my order of flat out just not answer the mic. Get a grip on what you all do! Hire people with a higher IQ or simply train them! It's not that hard! This location is by far the worst sonic I have ever been to all over the state. Go to N 1st. They are amazing. More clean, more professional, and they know how to do their job! Better customer service all the way! read more

I think I deserve an award for not having a missile strike called on Sonic after this visit. (After I had paid with a card at the stall) 15 minutes into waiting for 2 drinks, a frozen lemonade, and a small order of mozzarella sticks I was told that they were making it right now... 15 minutes later we are delivered a melted lemonade, 2 drinks with formerly frozen H2O, and cold mozzarella sticks by a boy that was less than thrilled about his current choice of employment. I don't expect 5 star service from such a classy joint but simple decency and customer service goes a long way. Way to go sonic, you really outdid yourself this time! read more

Unfortunately I had to leave one star. Worst meal in awhile! Cold burger, rock hard hamburger bun and cold fries! Just threw my entire lunch in the trash. Poor food conditions are not ok Sonic!! Someone knew what they were sending out to my car and chose to send it anyway!!! read more

Could give it 0 stars if I could. Went in for 2 kid's meals, got out minus the cheese for both and missing the fries when I got away from the pickup. The burger had nothing on them except the bun. 6th best fastfood in the world indeed- seems those kids running the place are putting up all the votes, won't be going back read more

AWFUL !!! Every time I go here it's always wrong. Employees don't listen and act like they could care less about their job. Food always taste Old and over cooked like it's been sitting awhile. Not worth the time or money. read more

Ordered 30 dollars worth of food and forgot to put my tator tots with meal. Refused to replace because they didn't give me a receipt. I will not be going back. read more

Went to this Sonic last night to get a gift card that I needed the next day. We parked in one of the car hop service areas and ordered, swiped a credit card and waited. After a long wait hit the button to say we haven't received the gift card. They said it would be right out. Waited more. I got out of car and went up to the window. They had to go do some checking. They said they didn't have any gift cards. I asked for a refund. They went to try to get the refund but asked that I move away from the window so motorist could access the window. I said I'm not leaving until I have my refund. He came back and said he couldn't cancel the order, I would have to come back the next day to see if they had any. I went back to the car and my husband went to the window and after a while he came back to the car with a cash refund. We went to the Sonic on Barrow and got the gift card and phone number for the area manager. Yelp, you need a "No Star" rating. read more

We love Sonic, but this has to be the worst in Abilene. They consistently get our order wrong. The food is always cold, even though you wait forever for it. I won't even stop by for drinks anymore because their just not as good as other Sonic's. read more

The ice cream machine always seems to be broken. The last time we went, we ordered two Coke floats and were only able to get one of them because the machine was broke. Then waited around for at least another 15 minutes waiting on the next drink and the correct change. Didn't receive a spoon or a straw either, had to ask for them. This place needs to switch up some employees and management. read more
